My granddaughter loves Lily and Milo and wanted to hear about their winter fun. This is a simple story for young children about basic winter vocabulary. They have to decide what to wear outside and what to so once they get out there. They feed the birds and make a snowman, but Milo is getting cold because he loses his mittens, scarf etc. along the way. They head back inside to warm up and have lunch. While watching the birds outside, they see that they find all Milo's missing items and finish the snowman as well. The bright, colorful illustrations are engaging, with lots of detail and visual clues to the events in the story. A fun winter story that we will share again once we finally get some snow on the ground.

Lily and Milo are back in this cute interactive story about winter fun. Young ones are invited to decide what clothes the two friends should wear to go out and feed the birds, and what they should carry their supplies in, and there are fun things to notice in the illustrations, such as Milo losing bits of his outerwear, and the progress the birds are making in gobbling up the goodies Lily and Milo have brought them. The pair make a snowman, and head inside for some nice, warm soup, and Milo gets some help from the birds in finding his lost hat, mittens, and scarf, and in finishing the snowman! The bright, colorful illustrations are engaging, with lots of detail and visual clues to the events in the story. A fun read for littles!

Winter with Lily and Milo is such a sweet book. Both the story and the illustrations are adorable, with lots of things little children will recognize, like what to wear on a cold day, and building a snow man. I loved the full page illustrations which will make this a great book to read with very small kids.

Lily and Milo are going on a winter adventure. I love how the book was interactive in the beginning with asking kids questions. My only wish is there were a few more pages like that scattered through out the book.

A fun book, where these quirky and fun characters Lily and milo take the reader out on their wild excursion in the outdoors. Learning and having fun with the snow, as cold as it may be they love it. The illustrations are vibrant, colorful, fun, and lovable quirky.

I read this cute little book 3 times with my daughter and she loved it. The book is about Lily and Milo, who go outside on a snowy winter day to feed the birds and make a snowman. It is a basic story, but one that my daughter really enjoyed. The illustrations are lovely and I liked the way that the book asks what clothes Lily and Milo should wear to go outside.

Even though it is hot and humid today, winter will come.  In this cutely illustrated story for toddlers, Milo and Lily enjoy some fun winter activities.  The illustrations and text invite a child to become involved, for example, helping to decide what Lily and Milo could wear to go outside, and they will watch as Lily and Milo do things like make a snowman.  All in all, a nice cold day for two friends.

Lily & Milo is a cute story perfect for toddlers. It is of course about winter, but discusses the different practical decision making, such as what clothes to wear outside in the winter, "a winter coat or a bathing suit?" as well as common winter activities, such as sledding and making a snowman. This is a cute book and I would definitely recommend it as an addition to your kids' winter reading list!

This was a adorable story and I really like the artwork. I think this would be good for an older todder or child.

This is a precious book that follows Lily and Milo on their adventures outdoors in winter. It begins by giving the young reader an opportunity to reason and think about practical choices to make when faced with cold weather as well as setting out on a new task. It then follows the pair on their adventures in the snow which result in another opportunity for readers to decipher problem/solution. I think this is a wonderful book to help young children think critically and show kindness all at the same time.

This book is an absolutely charming and simple story. This title is perfect to read to young children or for a storytime selection.

This one is pretty basic as an activity book teaching kids about the basic winter clothings and what fun activities we can do during a cold winter day!
