A really fascinating and well written book that I think will lend itself well to being an audiobook as I would have preferred this method of reading this book. It is informative and intricately crafted with love by the author.

I’ve read a couple of books by this author but this one was different enough so I enjoyed reading it. Great for anyone interested in meditation, even if you already know about the subject or practise it.

For so many authors who have achieved 'Celebrity' status, it must be so tempting to just carry on churning out books that rehash the same old topics in slightly different ways. Not Mr Chopra - Total Meditation provides an entirely new perspective on what has gone before and a blueprint for how to change your life.
This book essentially consists of two parts: a detailed exposition on life and how it can be lived better and a guide to how to achieve that better life.
The first part explains the centrality of consciousness to our progress through life - showing how it is this that determines our happiness, sadness, anger, joy, etc. rather than the vicissitudes of the world around us.
The second 'part' of the book provides an easy to follow guide to embedding the learning in your every day life - the steps are easy to understand, but will take many, many repetitions to gain something approaching competence, never mind mastery!
This book is not going to instantly fix your problems, but by following its advice, you can quickly begin to see improvements in your mental well being and satisfaction with life.

I love the audios I’ve heard from Deepak but I couldn’t get into his style of writing in this book. I think I’ll stick to his meditations to get what I need from his teaching.

As someone struggling at the moment like many others,I suffer from anxiety and have had periods of depression before so I’ve used meditation previously , so this book was a welcome addition to me so I could learn more and hopefully help ease my own problems. This book offers a 7 day program to help us connect with ourselves, to help ease the stresses from everyday life of the modern age, this book has really helped me and made a difference to me, it’s reminded me to take time for self care and setting time aside each day. A wonderful book, well written and I highly recommend this as it’s truly made a difference to me.

Deepak Chopra, master of meditation, offers us a 7-day programme how to truly connect with our inner being and become more aware in these uncertain times that we live in. Do you really want to live as a robot of routine, repetition and habit?

He encourages us to find the best lifestyle that ensures well-being despite the chaos of the modern world. 

We all can start here and now. If our mind is really open and free from confusion and conflict, we will percieve the reality as a field of unlimited possibilities.

Awareness is silent and still. Just start to meditate. And with this inspiring guide is easy.

Very easy to read book, with lots of useful information on meditation. I would certainly read another book by Deepak Chopra.

A beautifully written guide on mediation. I am a fan of Deepak Chopra and this latest book certainly caters for all levels of mediation. Very easy to read and to follow throughout. 

Highly recommended for all and an excellent gift idea.

An excellent guide to implementing a stress-free life. This book is great for beginners or more advanced mediators and is packed with a range of techniques and exercises to help you to bring meditation and focus into your life.

I loved the section at the end of the book containing 52 mantras to use for the year. I am looking forward to using some of the exercises and techniques in my own life. It's a great book to dip in and out of for specific exercises etc. 

I'm familiar with Deepak's work, having tuned into various sessions which he runs. This book doesn't disappoint. If you have an interest in meditation, this one is worth a read.
