Very cute stories. They are really good to read on the go. I enjoyed all 12 of the stories. And they are also very different, which is nice.

What is more perfect than a collection of 12 Christmas stories for the holiday season! These stories were nicely put together and easy to read, and really added to my Christmas feel. I think I would read these again next year, around the holiday season, but they and this book are perfect!

I love short stories, so quick & easy to read. All with great messages & leaving you feeling warm & fuzzy. Lovely gift for someone on the run up to Christmas.

A solid collection of stories all revolving around Christmas in one way or another.

As stated by the author, you won't get magic, elves or Santa, as this is more realistic.

Each story is short, and gives us a glimpse into a scene from someones life. From kids, to elderly to married couples, we simply see an event/s from their lives. I felt like reading letters from friends telling me what they have been up to. Nothing scandalous or dramatic. Just plain old life.

It was funny and heart-warming at times, as well as sad and frustrating.

It's good for those trying to avoid any cliches or over the top Christmas miracle type of stories.

I received an ARC from BooksGoSocial through NetGalley for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. They were short stories, well told, and had some really nice messages. I wish I could give you examples but I can't so what I can say is this book impressed me because Linda Mansfield shared stories where someone made a mistake and the way she wrote the story was so different. If you don't get along with your neighbor she gives great insight.
This is the author's first book and I really enjoyed all that she gave us in her stories. Hope she writes more. This book can be read at any time. It was such a nice book.

This is a nice collections of short stories for the holiday season. They are designed to stand alone so if you want something short to read before bedtime this is the book for you. Don't get me wrong the book can easily be read in one sitting as well. These stories are realistic and heartwarming. A couple are a little sad and some will make you remember some memories from your past. It's a nice collection to add to your holiday reading stack.

Thank you NetGalley, Linda Mansfield and BooksGoSocial for Stories for the 12 Days of Christmas.
This is my personal review in exchange.
This was a great book to have while I was waiting to go to appointments- picking up car side delivery groceries and other times I had a few minutes to just relax.
Each story was centered around Christmas. As I read each story it made me appreciate life and all that is in it with everything upside down right now, I needed this book.

I received an electronic copy from BooksGoSocial through Netgalley.
A collection of thirteen stories that capture the reality of Christmas emotions for so many. Each short story captures a character's views and needs as they face the Christmas season. They are diverse people who make choices to change circumstances or attitudes to appreciate their lives. Easy to read one or all thirteen in one sitting. Mansfield's writing style is comforting and calm.

This is a wonderful little book with beautifully written tales centred around Christmas. Each tale has a lovely, almost moral like quality, in the endings. I enjoyed the simplicity of the stories, they were gentle, easy reads. The stories were all well written and I felt each had a reminder that Christmas is so much more than the commercial extravaganza that it can become. I particularly liked the length of each story – each one no more than around 10-15 minutes reading time so it was easy to pick this up and enjoy a whole story at once, a great tool for any avid readers who perhaps find it difficult to concentrate on a novel when dealing with the hustle and bustle of the festive season. Many thanks to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley UK for the free review copy in exchange for an honest review.
