Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

I found this guide very informative and easy to understand, especially for a beginner like myself! The illustrations were great and really helpful and no waffling on like some guides can do. Some sections were harder to read than others size wise but all in all, I thought this was a fantastic book.

This is a beginners guide to hand reflexology. I loved the colored diagrams to help you locate which part of the hand to work on for problem areas. Multiple techniques are taught, and there are detailed instructions for common ailments. I wouldn't say I learned enough to be confident in practicing reflexology, but I am glad to have learned the basics.

Other than once witnessing a woman do it to someone I had no clue what reflexology was. Simple and easy to understand this book is the perfect introduction for those of us who might be curious about the practice but also who might not be looking to dive into it completely.

This book is a great overview of reflexology and it provides tips on how to incorporate techniques into your daily routine for a holistic health approach. The book is full of beautiful illustrations and charts. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC.

Great book for beginners! I really like how it had illustrations, which makes it easier than just reading a decription of what to do.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Press here! Hand Reflexology for beginners is a great informative and colourful guide for starting out learning reflexology for the hands.
This book has some amazing drawings depicting all the different techniques and also the parts of the hands for certain areas of the body e.g. the neck, thyroid, stomach etc.
As a beginner to reflexology I was intrigued by this book and there are a few pages I have screen shot to try out on myself ( I received a pdf copy of the book - a physical copy would definitely be easier to use to follow the techniques).
The book starts out telling you information about reflexology of the hands and then goes into lots of depth . There is so much to learn in this book and the colourful illustrations definitely make it easier to follow.

--Your Health in Your Hands--

I received an advance review copy from the publisher through NetGalley and here are my thoughts.

I have had a few hand and body reflexology books over the years, and this one has the best way of presenting information by far.

After a general overview and basic techniques section, the book is laid out with a page per condition (for example, headaches, asthma, diabetes), with each condition clearly illustrated with a drawing of a hand and the relevant sections you need to massage AND with written instructions.

The design of this book means you'll be able to find and follow along easily, even if you are new to reflexology.

Highly recommended if you are interested in this topic.

Hand reflexology is a non-invasive natural health approach, perfect for anyone to use on the go. Practicing hand reflexology on yourself can help you achieve your goal of natural, holistic healthcare without the expensive weekly treatments.

This book is perfect for those who like me who like to learn new things and indulge in a bit of self-care. The book is full of colour, easy to use, easy instructions to follow and I would adore a physical copy.

This book serves as a great intro to reflexology. I only knew a little bit about the topic before diving into this book but I feel like I've learned so much. The sections of the book are set up perfectly and walk you through all of the steps necessary to perform this on yourself or others.

The illustrations are great and truly help to show each area of the hands and wrist and how they associate with different body parts. The colorful pages drew me in and I cant wait to study this a bit more. I have already tried many of the techniques and found them to be helpful, so I highly recommend others give this a try, especially anyone who is new to the reflexology topic.

Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this!

As a massage therapist who has had a reflexology class this book was very informative and helpful to remind myself about hand reflexology. I learned a lot about feet reflexology and that is my main reflexology that I preform but this book is also a great tool to reference back to when needed.

# press Here! Hand Reflexology for Beginners by Stephanie Sabounchian is a great more than introductory reference guide into reflexology for hands. The illustrations are well done and the instructions are clear. The drawings of the hand illustrate the mapping of the hands as it relates to the different internal and external part of the human body.

The book starts with the basic principles and techniques and then goes into several ailments .Among others the ailments illustrates are: digestion issues, arthritis, inflammation in general, period pains , sinus congestion, headaches , thyroid issues, fatigue and allergies etc.

I wish that the book was accompanied by a video link to illustrate the techniques as that would be so helpful.

All in all, I am very interested in the subject and I have tried some of the exercises in the evening. I have to say that the soft pressure and hold and massage, made me relaxed and sleepy. It was very pleasant experience for me and will be practicing to relax my hand to alleviate middle age stiffness in my fingers and as a great pre bedtime routine.

I highly recommend this book, it is very complimentary to self care practices.

I want to thank the publisher, Fair Winds Press and #NetGalley for providing me with an temporary ARC of this great little guide into hand reflexology.

I was super stoked this book came at the perfect time! I actually ended up with a pretty bad sinus infection about 3 days after getting approved for this and the techniques shown in the book worked wonders. I have since tried a few of the other recommendations from the book. I love the diagrams showing which part of the hand is being referenced. This is an amazing book and I plan to recommend it loudly to anyone who'll listen. #PressHereHandReflexologyforBegginners #NetGalley
