I received a complimentary copy of His Doll in exchange for an honest review. This was a short and sweet book about a model trying to make it big with disastrous results on her debut. The owner of the modeling compnay was not impressed and fired her on the spot. How those two ended up from that beginning to happily ever after was worth the read in His Doll.

ehhhhh this felt very underdeveloped... needed wayyyy more... the characters were interesting enough though. definitely will check this authors other work out.

His Doll by Leah Colton was disappointing in that the title and cover did not appear to match the under developed very short story line.

Pretty shallow, not much depth to the plot, but a fun read otherwise. Dialogue seemed slightly forced.

This was so strange. I thought they would role play or be kinkier and I was really underwhelmed reading this. The beginning was nice, the tension built perfectly and then everything resolved.

I like to read spicy eroticas, and the description of His Doll really intrigued me, but the book didn't reach my expectations. It's a short romance that doesn't have many sexy scenes for an erotica, too many clichés happen in a story that could be better developed in the world building and character department. It's not horrible, but definitely could have been better.

I ended up hating this book which is sad because I can see so much potential in the overall storyline. If this hadn't been so short I definitely would have DNFed it. The writing style is very formal and awkward and the conversations between the characters feels so forced. And the pacing felt incredibly rushed to me.

This is one of those books that has such great potential yet falls short. The style of writing felt so awkward to me. It was painful trying to read the conversations between the characters. Thankfully it was an incredibly short book so you don’t have to struggle with the style for too long.

Ryan lost the love of his life Sharon to death. He fired Kayla who fell on her butt on the runway twice and she had an weird resemblance with his dead girlfriend, Sharon. When she tried to explain her side of the story for falling, he realized that it wasn't her fault. They got to know each other. ryan realized that he fell in love with Kayla. Swoon? Not.

Thoroughly let and a book I was actually really looking forward to read

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book! I was definitely intrigued by the description... and was a little let down in the execution. It was a quick read but the writing was a little formal and stilted at times. There were two steamy scenes... and I could have used a little more for a book labeled erotica.

This book was a short romance story that missed a lot of opportunities to develop into a really good book. There were too many clichés and the outcome was a foregone conclusion.

Shorter than I was expecting, but HOT!! Left me wanting more, I will look forward to the next instalment.

I wouldn't class this as erotica. The cover is also misleading. Its more a short short short romance story.

For me it was to short, there was so much opportunity to expand and give more. Especially as its set in the fashion industry.
The 'sex scenes'to class as erotic where almost none existent, mechanical and even then blink and miss it.

Also while reading it seemed to jump from one place to another that i had to re-read to work out, oh they are now in the car, oh the got of car and inside building. I think those small details would help the flow.

Also seems odd that right after being fired shes suddenly changes her hair colour, and knows where the boss lives, where shes only worked for the company a short while. Then suddenly changes is back. That to me was just odd, and also pointless given they all ready look like the dead girlfriend.

Its a shame as the synopsis and the idea behind the book sound great but sadly just not executed well. (That's why I'm giving it 2 stars rather than 1).

This was something different for me but I liked it. I wish it was a little longer. But it was HOT! I wanted more.
I wish we knew a little more about the characters.

This is a short story I read it like in 30 minutes.

The story is setting in a fashion industry, he runs a model agency she is a model, they met, he don’t like it right away, she tries again but because she looks like his ex he tries to get to know her and then they like each other.

The book itself isn’t bad but I feel that the synopsis promised a bigger plot and a longer history but true is that it wasn’t the things that the author touched could’ve lead to more story.

I recommend this for people that need a quick story with a happy ending

This is not one of the best books I have read in this genre.
It had a good story line but it was too short and it did not have enough depth and it was too short on the erotica element.
Very disappointed
