Imagine having to relive the stress of your wedding rehearsal dinner over and over again, well that is the premise of this funny book that I couldn’t put down.

It’s couples Groundhog Day! Tom and Megan are the perfect couple, meeting in college at eighteen and together for twelve blissful years they are still madly in love and about to get married. But then “white people problems” occur and they are trapped in a time loop doomed to live their rehearsal dinner over and over until they get it right whether that means they ended up together or not.
This is a fun book I was worried it would be repetitive due to the premise but it wasn’t. Hooray. There’s a fun cast of secondary characters some of which could have done with a bit more meat. Tom and Megan are suuuuuper repressed, they don’t fight. They’ve never fought I find that incredibly weird but that’s why they have problems I suppose. They have a pretty nice life and their problems are relatively minor but I enjoyed the journey.

I really enjoyed reading this more than I thought. The day is re lived over and over again till it’s done right. Was such a easy read and enjoyable.

This is a great light read. With one of my favourite tropes. Re living the same day over again until you get it right.

A funny take on the Groundhog Day - with a couple stuck in a never ending loop on one of the most annoying days of their entire relationship!
