I love such poetry collections!

It's uplifting.
It's hard-hitting.
It makes a lot of sense.
It teaches me something new.
It makes me feel something new, things that I have taken for granted.

I love how this collection talks about faith, violence and what weuplifting one another, women empowerment and celebrating our lives.

Some expressions didn't click well with me.

Overall, a good refreshing read.

Thank you author and the publisher for the advance reading copy.

I may have gone into this book with high expectations after reading about the several works the poet has written. I found myself underwhelmed. I also felt some of the poems were entirely too short and failed to grasp my attention. Because the shortness of the poems did not utilize captivating language. However, several of the poems like 'Deranged,' 'Whore-ship,' and 'Goddess of Love and War' spoke to me. I find myself having mixed feelings about the poems and may need to reread a few times to grasp what the poet was trying to say.
