Exeter. Teenage boy dead. Detective with a drink problem and a failing marriage. So far, so predictable.
Billed as " hilarious, ridiculous" with celebrity comedian endorsements. Ridiculous yes. Hilarious, no.
If you're a fan of those smug, unfunny, up-themselves "comedians", you'll probably love this. If, however, you like well-written, genuine laugh-out-loud situations and superb characters, you will be better off elsewhere.
