I found this book a very interesting book and funny novel. It detailed relationships, marriages, and conspiracies. I recommend this book.

This was a fun and entertaining book. It’s been a while since I read a book that make me laugh out loud and this one sure did. I will definitely read more books by this author.

A man and his ex-wife end up on the same island resort at the same time with their new partners. It was a terrible breakup and they hate each other. The book centers around how they sabotage each other’s vacation.
I couldn’t get into this at all and found myself skimming the chapters trying to find out why their breakup was so bad. In the end, I just didn’t care enough about either character to finish the book.

Amy and Joel's honeymoon in the Maldives was perfect. Unfortunately, their marriage soon went south and now 8 years later, they are both back in the Maldives. With new partners. During the same week.

If that's not bad luck, I don't know what is.

Amy and Joel spend the next week of trying to make the other look a fool as well as tying to prove to the other that life has been just fine and dandy since they split up.

I loved this book. It made me literally guffaw in public at some of the ways that Amy and Joel try to show the other up.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the beginning I found Joel annoying, girlfriend Cara whiny, Amy kind of a B and Ray was just clueless. Like really, what hotel spa would let someone do that? What hotel restaurant would allow that? Then. I really started wondering where the author was going with the various relationship and I was completely hooked.

I love that nothing was too conventional or predictable, and that these actual grownups resorted to torturing each other because they couldn’t get over their past and talk it out. Also, there’s a scene with a glass floor that’s hilarious.

Nick Spalding is guaranteed to make me laugh out loud in every book he writes, and this one is no exception. Nick identifies contemporary issues and crafts situations around them with his own unique and humorous style. You, Again is a story of Joel and Amy travelling on holiday to the Maldives for the first time since their honeymoon, only this time with two different partners.

Joel and Amy were realtors and once a high-flying successful couple, complementing each other perfectly and revelling in the winning reputation. Following a botched booking and lost sale of a high-end customer, Amy lost her job and blamed Joel for his negligence and failure to support her. Consequently, their marriage ended, and now they are with two new partners, but still profoundly scarred and angry with each other.

As Joel and Amy both tell the story, we discover Joel and his girlfriend Cara in the airport, ready to check-in for their flight to the Maldives, when they spot Amy with her new partner Ray. Surely, they can’t be taking the same flight. Surely, they can’t be going to the same resort. Surely, they can’t be staying in adjacent water bungalows? Joel ponders, “This is the real world, and coincidences don’t just keep piling up on top of one another.” He is right. In the real world, that wouldn’t happen, and adults that they are also wouldn’t act the way they did. I was disappointed that the storyline was so artificial and convenient to enable the comedic moments. The scenes can be quite outlandish, but if that is enough to satisfy then you will be rewarded with funny sketches and enjoyable slapstick humour.

The characters have little depth and, in many ways, are unlikeable. They make the most half-baked decisions that had me shaking my head, so my experience consisted of throwing my head back laughing or shaking my head in disbelief. A book that gave me whiplash. There is a formula to Nick’s novels, and you pretty much know the ending before you open a page – he brings struggles, disaster, comedy and a reaffirming life message. I knew exactly how this story would end and who the underhanded villain was.

Criticism of this book aside, I will always read Nick Spalding and lift one of his books when I want something simple, light-hearted and funny. I would rate this book 3.5 stars, and I want to thank Amazon Publishing and NetGalley for providing a free ARC in return for an honest review.

I have been going through a tough time and this book was exactly what I needed. I wouldn't call this a rom-com because there isn't too much Rom, but it is totally chick lit which I was totally ok with. lol.
ITs the story of two people and surving a divorce. It was a funny read and thankfully it was not cheesy in anyway shape or form. This could be an adorable movie!

I just didn't enjoy this novel at all - it was ridiculous, cliched and unfunny. Neither of the protagonists had any redeeming qualities about them which made the book unpleasant to read. I would have given the book 1 star out of 5 however, it was a quick, easy read which is about the only thing that it has going for it.

I'm sure some would enjoy the story line but I feel like it had all been done before - two exes thrust in to a situation with each other where they can't avoid the other but it all works out fine in the end.

Once again Nick Spalding has had me in hysterics with this simply amazing book.

In a set of coincidences ex husband and wife Joel and Amy are both going back to the Maldives to where they honeymooned together, but with their new partners on the same week.

And naturally once they are aware of this fates conspire to keep bringing them together,

Cue a game of one-upmanship and jokes as they try to get to grips with this holiday and how they cab live alongside each other in paradise.

And there are so many moments that had me laughing out loud in public places as this caught my imagination in so many ways and greatly amused me.

It was light hearted pure escapism at is best and just an all around fabulous book, and a great holiday read.

Nick Spalding really is my king of hilarious comedy novels!

A witty read which had me laughing out loud!
Joel decides to take his new girlfriend on a romantic holiday to the same place where he had enjoyed his honeymoon with his ex-wife Amy. Amy has the same idea, and books a holiday to the same place with her new boyfriend.
Comedic events then untangle into a life discovering journey.
Just brilliant.

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but ultimately I did not. I felt like I couldn’t connect to the book, and was not enjoying it. I ended up DNFing it.

You again? Is a perfect romantic comedy that will have you wishing for a holiday in the Maldives.

Joel has booked a week long romantic holiday with his girlfriend Cara to a tropical island in the Maldives. A remote island that he visited once before, with his ex-wife, on their honeymoon. So of course the holiday wouldn’t be complete without his ex-wife Amy also booking a week long romantic holiday to the same island with her new fiancée Ray. Surely nothing else could go wrong right?

So anyone who knows me knows that I’m not a huuggggeeee romance fan (they are just too predictable!) but I honestly can’t remember a book that made me laugh as much as this one did! There was parts that just were hilarious!

If you’re wanting a romance with a bit of a twist, this is definitely something you will enjoy!

What a fun interesting book! The story is about a divorced couple that each decide to take a vacation (with their new significant others) back to the Maldives which is where they went on their honeymoon. The island they were on was so small that it was impossible to avoid each other and in fact they ended up on most of the activities at the same time. You can imagine the range of emotions they both went through. And then when they find out what really happened in the event that was responsible for breaking up their marriage - well you can imagine the fireworks there. Don't just imagine it, read the book and experience it for yourself.

This book's biggest downfall was the immaturity of the main characters and being advertised as a romance book. I picked this book up thinking it was going to be a second chance romance that was going to be a mix of You Deserve Each Other and The Unhoneymooners. I even came across it on NetGalley in the romance section. The summary suggests it will be a romance. But boy was I wrong.

Thankyou for giving me the chance to read this in turn for an honest review. It had me literally laughing out loud at points and others I just thought how childish the characters were. Definitely worth a read though .

This is an outrageous, at times hilarious other times poignant, read. Sometimes I wanted to bash these characters' heads and other times, I wanted to throw the book out the window, but what's a book if it doesn't make you feel something.

Amy and Joel may be a little crazy taking their new loves to the same place they spend their honeymoon years before. They sure acted crazy their entire vacations trying to one up each other and get under the others skin. It's no wonder that their new loves aren't thrilled with this vacation choice. It's a fun, quick read that takes you along their journey. Hopefully they can call a truce before it's completely ruined.

2 stars! Although this book had its comical moments, it just wasn't for me. The immaturity of the characters was difficult to get past.

Amy and Joel married and had a wonderful honeymoon on the Maldives.

They're now divorced.

And both returning to the Maldives with their new partners. At the same time. It is the stuff of nightmares.

Petty revenges, farcical accidents and a whole lot of home truths await them on their island adventure.

This is a funny, light read and whilst predictable at times, it didn't quite have the saccharine ending I expected.

The setup of ex-lovers trapped in paradise has so much potential, but there was something so convenient about the plotting, the escalating pranks, the eyerolling, unbelievable behaviour in YOU AGAIN, that it eventually felt a paint-by-numbers romcom rather than the innovative upending of the genre that I was hoping it would be. I really wanted to like this, a prose Forgetting Sarah Marshall or something, but alas, this isn't it.
