Loved Elliot miles!
The other two books were good but this one was by far my favorite!
Thank you for the opportunity!

Another steamy installment, with so much more.

Elliott and Kate - enemies. The hate is palpable. But hate & love are a fine line!

Their banter throughout, in real life and otherwise, was fun and entertaining. And their path to romance was definitely rocky. Their first spark moment was amusing too. Enjoyed their story.

Loved that the brothers make appearances through all of the books. The Miles brothers are definitely something.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Amazon Publishing UK, Montlake for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review!

Unfortunately I DNF this one at 30%. I thought the enemies to lovers/workplace storyline seemed like fun, but the writing was really clunky and didn’t do it for me.

A few specific issues:
-How would a lowly IT employee get away with her sarcasm and enmity toward the CEO for 7 years of employment (not to mention he’s obviously many many levels above her at work and wouldn’t interact with her regularly anyway)?
-I didn’t find the humor used in the online dating profiles funny
-I didn’t find it at all believable the way that Elliot explicit comes on to Kate (in the work gym or at a bar)!

TL Swan is my guilty author read. I will read her books over and over and she is an automatic -buy author or a repeat KU click when I am looking for a fun romance read. This is the 3rd installment of the Miles High Club and I would suggest reading them in order but if you want to skip and read this one that is fine. Ms. Swan's writing continues to enchant, brings a smile and lots of laugh out loud and sigh moments with her books. This is definitely on my shelf to re-read over & over. Thank you to Montlake/Amazon Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

This was a hard read for me. I almost didn’t finish it.
I didn’t like either of the 2 main characters. Kate was snippy and rude. Elliot sends out mixed signals and leads her on. In fact, he only gets interested in Kate when he spies on her wearing a body hugging sports uniform. Yuck!
I really didn’t care if they got together or not.
I did like the secondary characters. In particular, i really enjoyed Kate’s 2 roommates.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for my honest review.

This book was oh so wonderful! I am a big big fan of these brothers and Casanova did not disappoint.

The basic premise of the book is that our heroine, Kate, is trying to move on from a personal loss that has happened to her in the past which is not being helped by the fact that her boss, Elliot is always on her case about something. From day one they got off on the wrong foot and now years later are still not getting along despite being boss and employee. It is not until Elliot sees Kate in a new light that things begin to change...

What I love about this book is that despite Elliot being rich characters seem really authentic and real and you really feel the emotion that both Kate and Elliot feel throughout. Oh my Gosh, Elliot is so dreamy :) He is dominant, sexy, and demanding BUT also a sweetheart of a romantic despite the issues that he faces.

T L Swan can also right flirty banter in the style that I like. It's just enough sarcasm that it hits home but not enough to be offensive and ruin the flirtiness behind it.

Also the cameos of the past characters, Jameson and Emily along with Tristan and Claire.

I dropped a star purely on the basis that online dating is not a troupe that I would say that I'm into. I think in this case it was done well but personal preference would have been for the story to develop in a different way (that is absolutely me problem and not a book problem)

All in all, I would recommend that you read this series for the steam, the banter, and the relationships that come from each novel.

I'm not that far into the book but I've already hit so many things that I really disliked, I'm not sure if I'll continue. First, this book's depiction of LGBTQ+ characters seems so problematic and backwards. When the MC's new roommate moves in, she immediately asks if he's gay the first time they hang out. The roommate's response to this question was also just a really weird, with him saying "oh I'm into females but sometimes I get randy with males" and such. Idk, I just think there is a much better way of handling this than the way the author did.

Additionally, the storytelling and pacing of the story is just really off. The first few chapters are all telling and not showing, with characters going off on long monologues of who they are/what they're looking for/ describing their actions in a weird, totally unrealistic way. Overall, the book seems very choppy and predictable, and while I normally appreciate a good enemies-to-lovers, this book seems like it will be handled in a very should-be-reported-to-HR kind of way. This will probably be a dnf for me.

I loved The Stopover, so when given the chance to read The Casanova I jumped at the chance! This was just as good as just as hot. I really enjoyed everything about it. This is such a fun series that I highly recommend.

This was my first encounter with this author. Although quite steamy with the sex scenes, the plot was so predictable. Katy heads the IT department for Elliot Miles corporation. She despises him. Lacking a love life, she joins an online dating site under a fake name. You guessed it. So does he and they correspond. Could it be the person she hates is the one she is falling in love with online? For those who love this series you probably won't be disappointed.

“In the darkness, in her arms, I listen to her heartbeat. And I lose sight of mine.”

Now I’ll admit that I didn’t read the previous books in the series, but I had no trouble getting into this story and understanding what was going on. So this book can be read as a standalone. Having read some of TL Swan’s books, I was really excited to try this book and boy she didn’t disappoint! The Casanova had everything that I love about this author’s angsty and steamy romances. As someone who loves the enemies to lovers trope, this book was just my cup of tea.

From the beginning, I was immediately hooked to Elliot and Kate’s story and I couldn’t get enough of them. I also loved seeing the development of their relationship and undeniable chemistry throughout the book! Moments like that are what made this story even more heartfelt. I’ll also admit that there were moments where I was frustrated by some of Elliot’s choices. But I still couldn’t get enough of their story. Even more, I wasn’t prepared for the twists and turns that their story would take. Which was what made this angst filled story even more enjoyable. Trust me, you won’t to miss this unforgettable love story!

I didnt love this one as much as The Takeover but it was still great. I really loved Elliot and this story.

I love this series so much even if I wasn’t too sure of Elliot in the beginning of this book. He and Kate have a mutual hatred for each other until he catches her dancing in a netball uniform and can’t explain his sudden attraction. Meanwhile, he is obsessed with a certain artist and trying to find her.

Without giving the story away, I love how Elliot and Kate come together and how all aspects of his life come together and lead back to Kate. Meeting his parents is the most hilarious thing I’ve read in a while and the antics of his brothers and Tristan’s sons all combine to make for an incredible book! I can’t wait for Christopher’s story!!

Thanks to the publisher for a review copy via NetGalley.

The Casanova
(The Miles High Club #3)
Written by T. L. Swan

Diehard T.L. Swan fans have been waiting for Elliot Miles, well the wait is over. Elliot and Kate are all we could have asked for and more.

Known to the media, Elliot Miles brother number 3 is commonly referred to as The Casanova. He may be, he may also be using the name to keep the real Elliot hidden. Elliot Miles is the CEO of the British and French Miles Media Company. He’s brash, he yells, he is a bit of a schmuck! Oh, but he is handsome, sexy, you could say he pimps a suit out well. He loves his brothers but there are many he has no use for and his favorite person to tick off at the office is Kathryn Landon, head of IT for Miles Media UK/France. Elliot and Kathryn or Kate have a wonderful hate / hate relationship. I use hate in the strongest sense.

As people are want to say there is a very thin line between hate and lust? No, that’s not it, but you see where this is going?

T. L. Swan, she uses words well, she used them to put readers into the story, to get you rooting for her characters. It’s easy to figure out who your rooting for, but then you find yourself moving sides or going oh they are so sweet together or dear lord they are going to break that bed! She always keeps you turning pages, sighing, swearing and often crying, tears of happiness or sadness or rolling down you cheeks with laugher.

She also tends to use words that delight you like duck, or goat or ram!

Swan has given readers and Elliot a mystery to solve in this one, it’s a two-fold mystery actually and when Elliot and we readers unravel this mystery we find out that fairy tales and enchantment really can come true.

The Stopover set the bar, The Takeover took that bar a little higher and The Casanova blew that bar up! I loved it, I cried, I laughed and I cannot wait for Christopher Miles book.

Here’s to T. L. Swan who gave her readers a man who hates camping, a man who won over 3 boys to win their mother and a Casanova who knew he had a missing part and was able to put his puzzle together.

LOVED 'The Casanova" by T.L. Swan. So much so I've read it twice this year. Elliot and Kate are just delightful, and it was so nice to see secondary characters from previous novels show up again. It gets a little angsty at the end, but not so much that it ruins the book for me.

Book received for free through NetGalley

Oh my! This was certainly more R rated than I had realized. That said the characters pulled me in from the beginning, the overall story line was catching, and the ending was perfectly sweet and happy. Glad I came across this book.

My first but not last story by this talented author!

I love the enemies to lovers trope and this absolutely fits that category!

I loved the premise of the story and enjoyed getting to know the two main characters, or more (love it!)!!!

Great banter, sexy, steamy scenes!

Elliot, oh yeah!

I am definitely checking out this author's book list! Can't wait to read MORE!!!

I enjoyed The Stopover and was excited to see there was a third book in the series. I skipped the second book to try this one first and I did not feel like I liked these characters at all. I didn't feel the same fun banter like I did in the first book. I will still try The Takeover, but The Casanova was a miss for me. DNF

I am rating this a three because there were so many times I wanted to stop reading this book but I could not. I didn't care for the characters but I wanted to see what happens to them. When they were good together, it was great!
