Swain's books tend to be hit or miss for me and her last couple of publications have been absolute misses. That being said, I'm a huge fan of the Miles series and I've been looking forward to reading this for months!
What. A. Joke. I'm barely 10 percent in and I can't bring myself to read anymore. It's an absolute chaotic mess with horrifically unlikable characters and incredibly degrading language concerning women's bodies. It's positively unhinged. One of the first characters we meet is a so-called 'sexually liberated' man who describes himself as being 'too into to women to call himself completely gay' but then spends several paragraphs making it clear how repulsive he finds female bodies. I've been able to stomach Swain's internalized misogyny and toxic view of sexuality and attraction before but this was just entirely too much.
I might have made an effort to power through if either of the main characters were either remotely interesting.

I gave the story 4 out of 5 stars because it was funny and fast paced which I enjoyed, although I wished that Elliot’s POV was more substantial. I felt like the author was more in tune with Kate than Elliot so his POV often felt pushed and didn’t give more enlightment to his character. I enjoyed the story in general.

At first, Elliott and Kathryn love to hate each other. Elliott and Kathryn work together and there is a lot of animosity flowing between them but over time, their hatred turns into sizzling hot chemistry.

Elliott Miles and his brothers are rich and successful and own Miles Media, the company Kathryn works for as head of the IT department.

I easily connected with Elliott and Kathryn and I liked both of them, but I loved them together. They are layered characters and each of them is carrying baggage from their pasts. Together they have explosive chemistry and when they finally decide to give into their desires, they burn up the sheets. I was fanning myself with all the heat these two created when they were together. I enjoyed all of the scorching looks Elliott and Kathryn shared when they thought no one was looking.

This captivating story takes place in London and it has intricate plot weaving and perfect pacing. The characters and the story drew me in and I quickly turned the pages because I needed to know what would happen next. The ending has a twist I was not expecting and I love it when I think I have the plot figured out and I am surprised.

Elliott isn’t perfect and he can be grouchy and controlling but he has a soft romantic side too and once he falls in love, he is all in. Kathryn has never met anyone like Elliott. He scares her and enthralled her and she is hesitant to give him her heart. It is entertaining as these two fall in love and make mistakes and the wrong assumptions about each other. There is also an interesting cast of secondary characters added to the mix. The beginning of this story is a little slow but don't let that stop you from reading this gem. This beautiful and romantic story held me spellbound.

TL Swan is an author that is an automatic read for me. I always enjoy her books and finish them and feel like I have just gone through it with the main characters. I always at one point am feeling this crushing blow to my heart when our leading lady normally is treated badly at one point or decides that she is putting herself first. TL writes a great broken heart. I found myself sort of hating Elliot, he was such a jerk BUT Kate gave it right back to him and I adored that.
The banter is there, the push and pull is there and the attraction is there. What isn't there for me and I felt that it was a missed opportunity was Kate's endometriosis. I certainly thought this was going to play a much larger role. I get it who wants a book about period problems? I just thought it might have a moment in where Elliot could be charming and understanding that this was going to be a constant thing. Again, just my opinion.

Fun read as always and that is why I keep coming back.

This is a true T. L. Swan book, full of angst, passion, emotion, humor, delicious banter and the intense sexual chemistry we all want in a great romantic story. She writes beautifully well-written, romantic stories that will keep you intrigued and entertained. Elliot and Kate together - explosive. Combustible. Pure fire. In and out of bed. You will laugh out loud, you will be full with emotion, you will experience fiery highs and pulse-pounding lows...and at the end, you will have a smile on your face. All of this makes this one powerful and spellbinding story I won’t easily forget. #TheCasanova #NetGalley

I absolutely love this series. This book does not disappoint. I love that you still get interaction from character of the previous two books. I can't wait to read Christopher's story.

Elliot Miles was aiming to beat Tristan as favorite Miles brother but then 84% happened and I hated him kind of a lot. Kate and Elliot’s banter was spectacular in The Casanova, and the heat was *chef’s kiss*. Ultimately, I enjoyed this one but still, even with fate in the game, I’m mad at Elliot.

The Casanova is officially my favorite in the Miles HIgh series by TL Swan. And considering how much I loved the previous books, that is saying a lot.

From the get-go, Elliot Miles believes in love, destiny, and "the one." This is a rare quality in a man, especially considering how the rest of his family fights love kicking and screaming. What he doesn't expect is the way he feels about Kate, his co-worker/employee, with whom he has had a very strained relationship for the last two years. But once Elliot truly sees Kate, he can't unsee her.

Kate is determined, strong, fascinating, and so stuck in her ways that she needs the help of her roommates to break her out of her shell a little bit. And once she does, and she and Elliot start really connecting, it's a beautiful thing.

Their path to happily-ever-after is complicated, with family drama and distrust thrown in to muck things up, but it is such a great ending. My heart was alternately breaking and full for this couple. I loved it. Such a satisfying story, and you can tell the result is a true and lasting love.

I was SO excited about this book and it lived up to my hype! Since I received an ARC of it, I had no idea how long the book was. After finishing it in just a few hours on a backpacking trip, I later learned that it was over 500 pages. I had no idea since it was such a fast and captivating read. Let's be real, I love a good enemies to lovers arc and this was it! It was such a refreshing read and I loved the writing so much! Highly, highly recommend!

It’s 1:10am and I’ve only just finished this book. I couldn’t not put it down! The angst between Elliot and Kate was incredible - haters/enemies to lovers in the blink of an eye. Elliot hiding behind the Millionaire businessman personality and Kate taking no prisoners. This rivalled The Takeover for my favourite.

I would give this book 4.5 stars if I could. However I feel if I have to choose 4 would be best. This book has a great summary, it caught my attention instantly. I love romance books and was excited to read an enemies to lovers spicy office romance.

This book was hard to get into, at times I thought maybe I wouldn’t be able to finish it, but about 1/5 of the way into it I couldn’t stop, every chance I had to read more I was. It consumed me wholly and I absolutely loved the ending! The twists and surprises that went into creating this book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes romance with enemy’s to lovers to everything in between.

The reason I didn’t give this book 5 starts was because at some points I wanted to rate it 3 or even 2, so I didn’t feel it fair.

Admittedly I have not read the predecessors to this book in the series, but my friend assured me I wouldn’t need them to enjoy this story. This is the perfect read for those seeking a great love story, a captivating male lead, and decent writing. The sexual chemistry and adult banter made this whole book for me. I will definitely be picking up the other books in this series!

Well, this book certainly ‘rang my bell’. It is absolutely fantastic!!
I loved everything about this story and these characters. This author’s writing style is so easy to read, her observation and comedy timing are perfectly placed and the moments of tenderness are both charming and smoking hot!
I laughed out loud at Elliott and his angry comebacks, the sarcastic wit between Kate and Elliott was so realistic of a couple that I adored everything about them and didn’t want to leave their world.

I am so pleased that Ms Swan gave Kate the perfect story with an ending she truly deserved. I won’t say anymore than that but I really enjoyed reading as her confidence and strength grew throughout the book... I admired how she stuck to her guns and remained true to herself.

Elliott was very endearing, from his explosive temper, his sarky ‘take no nonsense’ approach, to his somewhat hidden tender side, which made him even more charming and attractive. I just loved him. I especially liked the fact that he often surprised himself with his need to take care of Kate... a feeling that he couldn’t quite fathom and yet just couldn’t help himself!

An Absolute Must Read!!

4.5

First book by this author! I haven't read the other books in this series so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Elliot and Kate have been coworkers for years, with a hate=hate relationship. They don't get along, they're constantly bickering and disagreeing and neither of them see that changing. However, Elliot sees a different side of Kate-one he really admires. They decide to try something together, but the catch is it can't be serious and it has to be a secret. This works before both Elliot and Kate realize they're wanting something more.

This story drew me in right from the beginning and kept me reading. I found Elliot to be a little too mean, but I think that was the point. Kate really stood up for him and herself a lot which I really admired. Elliot and Kate grew during the story and helped each other do that. Their relationship was sweet but holy, their fights were so immature it was laughable. The book had more humour in it than I expected which I really enjoyed! This is definitely everything you could want from a quick, spicy romance with some depth. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.

I was beginning to worry that this installment of The Miles High Club did not have the T. L. Swan that I've come to love. But some cantankerous farm animals renewed my hope.

T. L. Swan has the ability to make her readers go through every emotion as they read her books: Wonder, curiosity, hostility, lust, happiness, humor, heartbreak, nostalgia, etc. It's a gift and I love every book I've read by her so far.

The Casanova is the nickname for the third Miles brother of Miles Media. He works in the European office in London. Katherine is the head of their IT department and they have loathed each other for the entire 7 years she's been employed. By pure coincidence and surprise, their relationship starts to become something more.

Casanova Miles is the dreamer of the four brothers. And this story broken my heart into a million pieces.

This was a really enjoyable office romance with some dash of enemies-to-lovers. I have been waiting for Elliot's book for quite some time as I love T L Swan's books and this series specifically. This book definitely did not disappoint. Bonus point is that characters from previous books make an appearance as well.
If you are a fan of steamy NA books then you should check it out as there are great steamy scenes while also a great plot and characters. Obviously there are also funny moments that make you laugh and frustrating drama, which actually was unexpecting for me.
Kate and Elliot's dynamic and relationship were everything. The chemistry was off the charts, the banter was super witty, and the development between them was gradual and just beautiful. Elliot is such a great book boyfriend it makes you want to actually be in Kate's place.
Overall, this was one of the best NA books that I have read this year.

Ooooh hot and spicy. Love TL Swans other books and this one was definitely just as good if not better than her others. It left me wanting and needing more. Hot enough to melt your Kindle

This was my first book by TL Swan. Overall, it was enjoyable. I really liked the emails back and forth at the beginning and the dating profiles were hilarious!

Normally I absolutely love long books because I get pulled in to the characters and crave their world for as long as I can stay there. But I started to lose interest in this one around the halfway mark. Some things started to feel repetitive or just plain fell flat. I felt like 200 of the 500 pages could have been shaved off and the book would have been better for it.
