I read this book several times and the third time was after my husband just passed away. I would always buy journals intending to write my thoughts, but then I would end up giving them away as gifts. However, after reading this book and his death to COVID especially after he did everything he was supposed to do such as the shot and the mask, I found myself needing an outlet not so much for anger, but for the why and what is your plan for taking such a good man and leaving me who should have went. The authors book was great, but actually, should even elaborate more and should maybe have a book two because I have seen a lot of journaling and her book is worth the time to read and write in, but most of all it gives you the tools to contemplate further!

I received a free advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

I received an electronic copy from NetGalley of Who Cares? by Melita J. Murray-Carney, Ph.D.. Who Cares is A Guided Self Help Devotional that is separated as a Journal for the Seasons of Life. This is extremely well written and thought provoking.

I am reviewing a copy of Who Cares: A Guided Self Help & Devotional Journal for the Seasons of Life through BooksGoSocial and Netgalley:

In Who Cares we are reminded that journaling is a powerful and valuable tool for promoting and enhancing mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness.

This book provides us with guided prompts for everything from starting something new, whether it be a new chapter in our life, or something smaller, and it reminds us to break what we are experiencing down into smaller goals. We are reminded too the importance to take the time to think through the problems we might face with this new challenge.

We are reminded too of the importance making choices that will help us to reach our goals.

We are reminded too the importance of writing down who or what is preventing us from being our authentic self.

Included in this book are exercises too that encourage you to write about forgiveness and how it heals.

I give Who Cares five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

This is a collection of journal prompts comprising reflections, affirmations, and biblical confirmations, covering nine different areas (or seasons) of life. For those looking for a devotional journal, this would be perfect.

A calm book that feels like drinking a hot coffee one fine morning while cool breeze blowing from the window. It talks about life and devotion.
