This was a sample of stories from a bible written in a way children would understand. I enjoyed reading the stories and looking at the illustrations. I liked that the stories were short and broken into “genesis 1-2,” 3-4, etc. I felt that it made it go smoothly and I like I got a lot from each section. Short concise chapters would entice young readers. Perfect for a bedtime routine and parents could discuss afterwards.

The Lion Wondrous Bible features a sample from it. There are various stories adapted from the bible. The illustrations were very soft and lovely. This features lots of text, so I would recommend for a middle school student.

I love how closely to scripture this story sticks while also being more accessible for children of all ages. It doesn’t feel too juvenile for older children to enjoy, as well. And the illustrations are beautiful!

A Bible for kids, in a storytelling way of writing. Though the stories can be read to young kids by the adults, this is a perfect companion for the older ones. Told in a simple manner compared to reading the Bible itself, the book is a good help for kids who wants to know more about the love of God.

This children's Bible is absolutely beautiful! The illustrations are gorgeous, and the text finds a balance between the beauty and poetry of scripture and the simpler narrative that makes these stories accessible for kids. I always appreciate when the citation from the Bible is included with the story titles (for example "Pharaoh's Dreams, Genesis 41). The story titles are more descriptive than those in most "adult" Bibles (for example, the Tower of Confusion instead of the Tower of Babel) which will make it easier for children to find the story they are looking for. I can't wait for this to be published so I can use it with my students.!

A cute Bible. I think the illustrations are few, they are kind of cute ( not really my style, but I can’t say I dislike them).
Overall a good Bible for children, I like the stories they have chosen, I think parents would like this book.
