Even though I enjoyed this book for the storyline, it had too much sex for me. I would still read more by this author and recommend this book.

Carter is a country music star hiding from a scandal from his last girlfriend. April needed to get back into her writing. She is renting one of his cabins and thathappen they fall for each other.in the beginning he's being grumpy and a sort of obnoxious and she immediately gets onery with him and gives him a nickname. She has no idea who he is, but they get thrown together and slowly fall in love the story had a slow build-up of romance drama and ex-girlfriends.
I loved watching this two grow into their own, , and fall not-so-effortlessly in love with one another.
I will admit I had some trouble immersing myself in the story at certain points because of the dual POV and time laps.. A lot of them were set in the past and it wasn’t always clear when things were occurring. I found myself having to clarify certain moments or to confirm that a scene had happened.

3.5🌟
I really enjoyed Pink and Country and am glad I read Carter and Reeds prequels first as it gave me a bit more background on our main man and some of the side characters. Both April and Carter have been through some real heart ache and there were some really tough moments that gutted me. There was also the other side of the story with all the heat and chemistry between the 2. They were smoking! My main niggle was the way the story was set out. Its dual pov which I really like in a romance but it felt a bit muddled we would get a bit of story from one character then the next chapter would go back over something we've just read but from there point of view and it made it feel a bit confusing and lacked flow. Overall I enjoyed the story

DAAAMN.
This author can write! I mean, wow. It is not often i enjoy musician angsty romance books. But this blew me out of the park. It was so beautifully, fluffy, sweet and with the right amount of angst and smut. The characters were just right, Carter - what a man; He worked through his life, his trauma and demons and did not let them define him. He was written so well, not over-the-top annoying and boring. April got on my nerve sometimes, but she redeemed herself pretty quickly. Plus, the others were funny too! I look forward to read this author`s next books!

"Pink and Country" was the sweet (and slightly steamy) little romance novel I didn't know I needed. April and Carter were a sweet couple, and I found myself rooting for both of them throughout the whole book. Carter was absolutely the perfect book boyfriend, and he and April made me swoon! This was an easy read that sucked me in and wouldn't let me put it down until it was done. I can see fans of Colleen Hoover enjoying this one.

This romance novel had me entranced from the first chapter. I am such a sucker for neighbors falling in love, and for one of the main characters to be famous but the other doesn't know it or realize who they are for the longest time. Both of those tropes were done so well in this novel!

Both Carter and April have pasts experiences and situations that have shaped who they have become, and neither of them expected to find something as magical as the connection between them when they went to Green Mountain to get away and find a new start.

Carter is a country music star finding his passion in creating music again after being in a toxic relationship for two years and not having time for his passion because of her. He is also getting over the love he had for his best friend and how she didn't chose him even though she loved him but had loved someone else as well and chose them.

April is a best selling author looking to find her inspiration again and break her writers block after the love of her life passed away. She lost her spark in her passion for writing and had lost herself when he had gotten sick and passed away.

When they get to Green Mountain and end up meeting they are instantly physically attracted to each other, and the more they spend time together something between them that isn't solely physical starts to form. The chemistry between Carter and April is off the charts and their sexual tension could be cut with a knife. But what is truly wonderful is how they begin to care for each other in ways they never anticipated. They end up caring for each other and their well being, and as they learn about each other their eyes are opened to who stands in front of them and they become a support for each other.

Thank you NetGalley for the copy of an arc of this book.

I was hooked from the start and really loved watching these two grow into their own, relinquish the pain of the past, and fall not-so-effortlessly in love with one another. They fought hard for their relationship and deserve that happily ever after!

This book was read thanks to NetGalley.

This is a cute romance, one of those that leave you with a warm heart, and my favorite part, he falls in love first, this is a cute romance that anyone who says that is a romance lover should read.

5/5.

I devoured this book from page one to the end, and it is a great story—a slow burn of two lives that have baggage from their pasts. Carter needs to lay low. As a country music star, everyone wants a piece of him, and he is headline news due to his latest “Love Interest.” Are the stories true, though?

April gets to take advantage of a vacant cabin her best friend has a cancellation for. It is paid up for a month! In need of a change of scenery, April accepts the offer. But, will a visit to Green Mountain change her life?

In a well written story with banter and nick names a plenty, heat and chemistry, with a game of Monopoly that will stick with you. However, there are some hurdles to get past. Will they make or break this couple? The secondary characters are essential to the story, and I hope we meet them in their books.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the advanced copy: this is my voluntary review.

~ A New Adult book for any Romance and SMUT 😉 lovers. (18+)

~ Honestly, I loved this book from the start to finish. It had me laughing out loud to feeling giddy and happy to feeling heartbreak and heart-wrenching sadness all laced with spice (Gawd I wanna Carter in my life) the steam 🥵🥵🌶🌶

~ OMG, this book was amazing (Didn't I say that already?)! Loved the author's style of writing and even though it was a lengthy book it was soo fast-paced and I was caught up I didn't feel the time going reading this.

~ I loved all the characters, April (a best-selling author) and Carter (a country music king), and even the side characters they all had an important part to play. And you can't help but bond with every one of them.

~ April and Carter Oh My Word! The romance, the spice, the suspense and even the storyline OMG had me hot and hammered.

~ And there were heart-wrenching scenes where oh my I felt the pain they were feeling.

~ And yet it was a beautifully written book about love and hardships, of fame and spotlight, and most of all it was about family!

~ Definitely, I am now a HUGE fan of Emmanuelle Snow!!! And guess what? The author has bonus chapters for all her books. Oh, My Word amazing!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I really enjoyed this book. It is part of a series of 6 books, at least so far. Dual POV, which I love. Makes it a much more enjoyable read in my opinion. This book is about April and Carter. April is a writer who has major writers block and is sent to the cabin by her friends. Carter is a singer. There is that instant chemistry right away for these neighbors. Each with a past they must overcome. I thought the story dragged on some at times, but overall it was a good read.

Turns out it is hair and country music.
Now I like pink hair - mine is often that colour... but country music, not so much, and I found the lyrics a bit - not so much....
I did like the general story-line and writing style though. And it was a really good length even if it should have been edited a bit I thought - at times it rambled and repeated previous concepts. Some real humour would have helped alleviate the angst that ran throughout the story - Country should have seen a psychologist and his team was delinquent in their duty to him not to get him to do this. He was self-harming in his routine when the 'black dogs' attacked him
Pink on the other hand needed to do more than bake on a Saturday - lots of unresolved grief there after 3 years but .... I found it a somewhat strange device the way her marriage was revealed. As I cannot believe that just about everyone knew the truth of it and how and why it occurred before it was written about in the last chapters.
So I did have a few issues with my critical hat on, which is why I am not giving the 5 stars other reviewers have.

This book was so good. Carter was a country music star hiding from a scandal from his last girlfriend. April needed a change of scenery to get back into her writing. She finds herself on Carter's property using one of his cabins and sparks fly. He's being a jerk protecting himself and she immediately gets onery with him and gives him a nickname. She has no idea who he is, but they get thrown togwther and slowly fall in love (without realizing it). I love April's inteaction with Jack and Bea - so cute.. The story had a slow build up of romance and very hot sex, drama and sleezy ex girlfriends. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This was such a great read. Carter and Aprils story was heartwarming. This ended up being quite a long book and was hard for me to get into at first but once I made it past the first few chapters I was stuck! The country star life that Carter was hiding in the beginning allowed him to be a normal person without all of the craziness if he would have been recognized. The relationship between the two seemed so real and relatable in a way even for a normal person. Their relationship had its ups and its downs but the found a way to make it work. I cannot wait to dive into the second book in this series!

ARC provided by Netgalley for an honest review.
Pink and Country is a sweet romantic tale about two people that get a second chance at love. To me, this story is just okay. It didn't blow me away, it didn't cause me to feel emotional when reading it and I felt like it was longer than it needed to be.

I give this book a 3.5. I really enjoyed it, but it was a little fast paced for me and the drama was over the top.

Both main characters are given a second chance at love. They both were quite relatable, which I really appreciate. The first half of the book was really good, and could've been a novella in my opinion.

I really liked this book! Very captivating and the author did a great job articulating the strong connection between the two main characters. I get annoyed at characters who self sabotage (so common in romance stories and it drives me nuts) and there is some of that here, but not that bad. I found myself looking for every spare moment to read a little more, and that's always a telltale sign of a great book.
