I really loved the illustrations in this cute book all about how we can be the same and different. Most children will go through a stage of feeling different and worrying about it, and this book is the perfect companion to a conversation about these feelings.

Riley went through a stage a couple of years ago where he felt that people wouldn't like him because of his curly hair. It broke my heart because I love his curls - but this book would have been perfect to help him understand how we are all different in so many different ways and these differences should be celebrated and respected.

The book explores a wide range of differences including physical differences, personality traits, languages, talents and more. It also celebrates how we can be different but also the same which is lovely. Perfectly written for kids to enjoy indecently as well as with a grown-up, with fab illustrations.

What a fantastic book!
I think every child should have this book read to them from a young age, so that they grow up knowing and believing that it really is okay to be different from everyone else, and that people are good at different things.
Great addition to any family bookcase.

This book is brilliant. I love the bright pages, easy to read text and the questions this book asks. It shows different hair colours, skin colours, different personalities, liking different things, different opinions and beliefs, our families and homes being different, to name but a few things. I love how this book gently teaches how we are different but still the same. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This was a great addition to me and my son's digital library. I love it when the book teaches about things that kids may face in school especially in this day and age. This should be part of all of the schools libraries in the world to help kids teach the lesson that we all may look different but somewhat still the same. We all have feelings and to teach kids to be kind as well to others even if they're a bit different. The illustrations were pretty colourful and adorable too. Me and my son loved every minute of this book.

A great tool for explaining to children (and maybe some adults need it too) that although in some ways we may look different, we are basically all the same. We all have feelings, emotions, needs, a place in this world and a contribution to make.

Great illustrations that are inclusive of everyone, i loved it.

Easy to read for children who our confident and easy to read aloud and share with younger children.

A perfect look at the ways that we are different but also still the same. Brilliant for encouraging empathy, inclusion and understanding amongst children.

Definitely a book that should be in every classroom.

This is a wonderful book by Molly Potter and with lovely illustrations by Sarah Jennings. This is a book to use with children of preschool age or in KS1 exploring diversity in all of us whether it be our likes , dislikes , opinions, personality, nationality, , gender etc. ( Mind you I struggle to define British ). Whether it be using the whole book to explore how we all have a variety of characteristics or whether it be using individual pages to explore specific focuses this is a fantastic book for teachers, parents and carers to open up understanding with young learners about acceptance of the difference and similarities between us all..Ideal for PSHE lessons. The range of imagery in each section is perfect for children to recognise difference can be expressed and represented in many ways. A truly celebratory book which is ideal to use to build tolerance and understanding with young readers.
