A delightful tale with simple, yet adorable illustrations. It’s just disgusting enough to interest the most reluctant of readers and fascinating enough for the budding young scientists. Tills has crafted an entire series of books tackling the most obscure and interesting scientific facts about animals. They are entertaining and educational, which can be a tricky balance to maintain in children’s books. This one covers the fact that cows have no top teeth. As someone who spends a lot of time around cows, I appreciated how the simple concept of cows having only bottom teeth had an entire book written devoted to it. The text is easy enough for younger readers to tackle independently and also has some great vocabulary that can be used for lessons. This is one that classrooms will want to add to the science shelf along with the other books in the series.

Thanks to Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

This was so cute! Short and sweet. I enjoyed the colorful illustrations and the educational aspect that went into the book. The large and bold fonts were easy to read, and the overall presentation is eye-catching which will be great when reading to small children. Simple little story but fun concept with cute art style and easy to follow writing.

Cute children's book - I enjoyed the cow theme as a cow lover, and the illustration style was a nice change of pace compared to other children's books.

This is a charming and informational book that teaches children about cows (and why they don't have too teeth!). The text is short and simple, making it easy for children to follow along. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and engaging, sure to capture the attention of a young audience.

I love how cute yet educative this book is. I really love cows. Kids are surely going to learn something new, while also growing to like these fluffy animals a bit more.

Cows Have No Top Teeth is another installment in the Awesome Animals series by Kelly Tills. Myself and my little boy love this series and it keeps getting better and better with each book we read. I love how the books are teaching my little boy about animals and there are some things in them that I didn't know either.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for my ARC.

An excellent book for early independent readers. The text is simple and broken up into short chunks and varying layouts to help kids process the words without it being overwhelming. The facts about cows are interesting and funny, and several other animals are featured too, which will keep young readers engaged

The text incorporates extra spacing and a bottom-heavy font that makes it accessible to readers with dyslexia or other language-processing differences. There is no big deal made of this in the text, so it can be used by all readers in the classroom so no one is singled out. This can be very valuable for building confidence in a new reader with a divergent processing style.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Just like the others in the Awesome Animals series, this book makes my daughter smile and she wants to read it again and again. And this is my top priority when choosing a children's book. The author picks funny facts about animals and show them in a simple yet unique way. These books entertain the whole family.

I am grateful for NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the Advance Reading Copy.
