The Christmas Unicorn is a charming fairy tale reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast with traces of Romeo and Juliet and a Dickensian child while still being its own unique story.

It is full of suspense, conflict, and love in a period, gothic style.

It makes a great holiday gift. It also would make a wonderful Christmas movie.

‘The Christmas Unicorn’ by Elf Ahearn was delightful and left me smiling! I loved the magic, the castle, and just this entirely heartwarming little story. Recommend!

This was a sweet story about a mother's love for her child. I enjoyed how the story unfolded and how strangers were not really strangers, but family. It was defiantly a heartwarming story, to get you in the Christmas spirit, I recommend you give this book a try, especially if you like holiday books.

I enjoyed Elf Ahearn's The Christmas Unicorn quite a lot. My one and only complaint would have been More Unicorn! I appreciate then opportunity to read this magical Christmas story.

The Christmas unicorn by Elf Ahearn.
A heart-warming story, set in the days leading up to Christmas, about one little girl's magical encounter with a unicorn. Christmas is just days away. A little girl called Milly and her Mum are staying at Grandpa's house. Dad has been kept away but will join them just as soon as he can. But Milly feels a little forlorn, away from her friends and without her Dad. And then something wonderful happens. Milly meets Florian, a unicorn.
A lovely read. My daughter loved it. 5*.

This book really didn't hit the mark for me. It seemed to keep promising more but then never quite delivered. The story about the house was interesting, but we didn't find out why, or how or anything about it. Who was the magician? There were hints of magic but then even that didn't really happen. As for then ending, I felt as if I had missed the last three chapters.
Quite a disappointment.

This was a confusing story.

Not well written, with the characters under developed.

I just did not enjoy this and was really thankful it was a short read.

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read The Christmas unicorn. I can't tell you how disappointed I was in this story, and the only good thing about it was it a quick short read. The crippled child sounded like a 60 year old sailor most of the time, and the story didnt really make any sense. 11/2 stars rounded up to 2
