This book gives a great overview of different facets of sustainability and the environmental movement. I've read a fair number of environmental books and this book still contained information that was new to me.

I enjoyed the first four sections the most, as they were about recycling, waste reduction and renewable energies. The last two sections were taking the stance that chemicals are bad (pretty much ignoring that everything is made of chemicals) and were giving tips about how to do a detox. Which I really didn't enjoy.

The book does not deep dive on any topic. So if there is something specific about the sustainably/green living movement that you were interested in, there likely plenty of books out there just focusing on that topic. But if you have no idea were to start this book is a decent jumping off point.

Short, sweet and to the point while scatterings facts and resources throughout; this is the type of book I wish was available when I first started researching green living.

The illustrations are absolutely stunning, the book explains ways to become more sustainable in an easy to ready and understand format. If becoming sustainable is a goal of yours I would recommend this books. Great for a beginner and worth the investment just for the illustrations for a more advanced person.

Sustainable living in a small book format. Great tips, solutions, and hacks about a greener life. I absolutely love reusing, recycling and growing greens from scratch, and this book simply nailed it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this guide of greenness, and highly recommend it to everyone!

Green Living, like many other books of its genre discusses ideas of saving electricity and water, recycling, etc. but it also covers topics not talked about in many other books. One thing I noticed was that there are a lot of definitions which is fantastic and addresses something many other books do not. Many eco-lifestyle terms are buzz words today, but many people do not know the true meaning of them. The writers have even taken the time to compare words with similar concepts but distinct differences in meaning.

Another thing done here that is not in other places is the in-depth discussion of sustainability on multiple fronts. Here readers can learn about acting in a more sustainable way through agriculture, development, manufacturing and everyday living.

I feel like I could ramble on and on about this book. I learned so much, and this is a topic that I read about and follow online regularly. It is a very quick read as well; you could easily read it from cover to cover in an afternoon.
