Green LIving was a beautiful book full of great tips and tricks for going green. There are beautiful and helpful illustrations to help guide you through going green. The cover art is absolutely stunning, and I am proud to add this to my bookshelves! This book is for anyone who wants to learn about going green – and for all those who think they know how everything about going green already – this book offers lessons for anyone and everyone. Very interesting!
Green Living, like many other books of its genre discusses ideas of saving electricity and water, recycling, etc. but it also covers topics not talked about in many other books. One thing I noticed was that there are a lot of definitions which is fantastic and addresses something many other books do not. Many eco-lifestyle terms are buzz words today, but many people do not know the true meaning of them. The writers have even taken the time to compare words with similar concepts but distinct differences in meaning.
Another thing done here that is not in other places is the in-depth discussion of sustainability on multiple fronts. Here readers can learn about acting in a more sustainable way through agriculture, development, manufacturing and everyday living.
I feel like I could ramble on and on about this book. I learned so much, and this is a topic that I read about and follow online regularly. It is a very quick read as well; you could easily read it from cover to cover in an afternoon.
Sustainable living in a small book format. Great tips, solutions, and hacks about a greener life. I absolutely love reusing, recycling and growing greens from scratch, and this book simply nailed it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this guide of greenness, and highly recommend it to everyone!
An informative, well written, and richly illustrated about living in a sustainable way. There's plenty of ideas and I liked how they are explained.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
Short, sweet and to the point while scatterings facts and resources throughout; this is the type of book I wish was available when I first started researching green living.
The illustrations are absolutely stunning, the book explains ways to become more sustainable in an easy to ready and understand format. If becoming sustainable is a goal of yours I would recommend this books. Great for a beginner and worth the investment just for the illustrations for a more advanced person.
