I’ve actually not yet read Wild Game by Adrienne Brodeur, but I’m definitely considering it now. Also really excited to see that the book is being made into a movie as well. I think the most amazing part of this book club kit is the author interview, though I definitely am curious to know what those recipes would taste like. As a book club kit, I think the two that were included would work great for an actual book club. Overall, the discussion questions were great. Didn’t love the bookmarks, but that’s also because I didn’t really care for the cover.

An excellent reading guide. This non-fiction book read like a novel, so it was great to see the photographs and put some faces to names. The blank recipe cards are a wonderful community building activity to gather book club members' recipes to make a book club cookbook!

I love these Book Club Kits and especially the ones that include an interview with the author. I am impressed with how well thought out these book club kits are. They always include really great extras, like the videos and the bookmarks. I think they're a great resource for a book club to use. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, and I loved how Netgalley began including this in request. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

The author interview was quite insightful. I also have been journaling and writing memories since I was young, so I found this to be relatable. At the same time, it helped me understand how the novel came about and how this aspect helped shape the book. The discussion guide was interesting, especially when it focused on the relationship between the author and her mother. I think readers might have different interpretations of this bond, so it would be quite interesting to talk about this topic in a book club setting. The recipe sheets are a nice add-on!

Fantastic kit for use in book club meetings. We struggle with discussing the book (we usually say a few worked about it and then start chatting about anything in general) and this will help us to stay on track.

This book club kit contains a wide range of content to discuss in book club meetings about Wild Game. I particularly enjoyed the page about the books that inspired Adrienne Brodeur whilst she was writing this book. I also thought the recipes pages would be very fun to follow.
