Okay so this romance novel hit off quite well until it didn’t.
My main issue was that after subplot after subplot turned into coincidence after coincidence or was it just there stars colliding 🤷 who know but i really didn’t want to find out. I ended up DNFing this book around the 20% mark.
I probably should have reread the blurb before requesting this book.
Thanks Netgalley and Books Go Social for the digital copy of The Unbalanced Equation for reviewing purposes.

This was such a fun book! I loved the story line and all the characters. I would definitely recommend this book. I did read this book in one day!

Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.
I really liked this book since I’m a big fan of the Enemies to Lovers’ trope!
Liz and Tom’ chemistry was TOP! The story kinda reminds me of the love hypothesis but it has its own charm. I absolutely recommend you to read this book.

The Unbalanced Equation is a slow-burn contemporary STEM romance novel. The science flair in the book makes it more interesting. Elizabeth and Tom's enemies to lovers gives a great slow burn. And the pace from annoyance to connection is well paced. The witty banters are hilarious.
The secondary characters, particularly friends and family, add depth to the story and provide moments of levity. The dynamic of family and friends adds depth and light-heartedness. The author's writing really brought out the character's emotions such as Elizabeth’s frustration and Tom’s guilt.
Even though the plot was a lil predictable but still I devoured it. I would say that Tom's character in the beginning was really off-putting. his behavior almost mad e me drop the book. I'm not into the whole "I like the girl but since i can't act mature, I'll just treat her poorly". Even though the 4 years were not shown in the book, but still knowing the fact and a lil after that is disappointing.
If you are into slow burn, workplace romance and STEM with wit and humor, it's the book for you,

This was cute. Quick read. Had all my favourite tropes, but fell alittle short. Still cute but only 4 out of 5 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley for the eArc copy.
DNF book.
I'm sorry, but I don't like this book and the story. I chose not to finish the reading because the storyline is too slow and nothing happened in nearly 200 pages.

2.5 ⭐️⭐️✨
For fans of:
- forced proximity
- workplace romance
- enemies to lovers
- second chance
- age gap
- guy falls first
I just couldn’t get on board with the miscommunication. It was too much and made me want to bang their heads together.

Great book. I was able to connect with characters and the plot. I recommend this book……………………………..,,,,.

This book is a fun STEM romance read. It has some solid spice and a great premise. It would work great for fans of Ali Hazelwood books or any other STEM based romance.

Solidly okay. I love academia as a setting but the mechanics that brought these two together felt forced.
5 stars as self-publishing is hard.
Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC.

Why isn't this book more popular? I can''t understand, because it was so fun! I would really recommend it for a friend. I look forward to read other bokks from the author. I loved it!

Reminded me a lot of the love hypothesis. I did enjoy the premise however it did constantly remind me of the love hypothesis and was quite predictable. The two main characters were funny and their enemies to lovers romance still kept me going because I am a sucker for anything enemies to lovers.

this was a very cute STEM romance!!! I am always a sucker for those and this one was super fun I really enjoyed it

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

i got halfway through and i was really excited to try this again but it just couldn’t keep my attention, i couldn’t connect to any of the characters and i kept trying to forcing myself to finish it.

I was interested in The Unbalanced Equation premises; however, it did not hold my attention. I will not be reviewing this on my platform.

Sweet story and romance. I enjoyed the characters and the set up. Overall a quick happy read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher.

Whilst the premise of this book with two scientists who are anime nerds intrigued me, I was absolutely hating the fact that their parents were getting married and they were getting together with such a big misunderstanding. Despite that I did manage to enjoy a lot of the book, the friendships felt organic and the chemistry between the main characters was absolutely great - I just couldn’t see them ending up together however. I think the premise of Tom being an asshole cause he’s attracted to her and then stopping her moving out process as well as dates is rightfully called out in the book but due to how late it was I don’t believe the resolution was good enough and I don’t feel like it reflects how creepy those actions were. I did like that Daichi was at least calling Tom out so it’s not like it was being condoned but I just didn’t like how much of the book is Liz falling for Tom and whilst knowing so little of the truth like there’s just so much manipulation.

Very much enjoyed this book. The back and forth between the two characters was easy and fun to read. I loved the two point of views.

Unfortunately, this book just wasn’t for me! I couldn’t get into it and did not connect with the characters. I thought they seemed a little childish immature for their ages, but I did enjoy some of the banter and it was an easy, quick-ish read for me.
