Everywhere is a great book for Fleetwood Mac fans if you're looking for a chronological history from the band's formation through the Peter Green years and beyond. I'm not sure how much this book would resonate with casual fans or people who had never heard of Fleetwood Mac or are not really into their music. But as a die hard fan, there was a lot here for me to enjoy. I like reading about how each album was made and the stories behind them, so it was great for me.

An enjoyable read, that nicely pictorially tells the most-recounted story of one of pop's greatest bands – and one of the blues', too. Yes, there is nothing here that the fan will not know inside out, and it offers no new insights (other than perhaps being the first book of this kind to cover the sad loss of Christine McVie and what that means for any future for the outfit). But it has a light touch when it comes to the "Rumours"-era scandals and bedhopping, not labouring it like some similar texts, and manages to get a decent balance, in its album-to-album approach, of both the blues era band and the post-Peter Green decades. Trainspotting, such as the very different single release schedule the UK and the US had for "Tango", is definitely swerved for an easier read to appeal to the casual browser. Nothing here goes its own way, for sure, but it still does well from being middle of the road. Quite like its subject at times, then.

Now if you are a Fan of Fleetwood Mac.......this is a book for you.....

Fleetwood Mac: Everywhere by Mike Evans and what a wonderful book this was. Fleetwood Mac is one of the most successful bands of all time and a band that gripped me when I was a young girl many many years ago. I remember listening to these with my mum and became a big fan..........Fleetwood Mac has had a long and complicated history, but, the band has survived and still going strong till this day!

They were formed in London, in 1967 by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, Fleetwood Mac started life as a British blues band. Core member John McVie joined the line-up for their self-titled debut album, and then in 1970, McVie’s wife Christine Perfect joined as a keyboardist and vocalist.

Then, there were further line-up changes, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined in 1975, giving the band a more melodic rock-pop sound, and bringing global success, most notably with Rumours (1977); to date it has sold more than forty million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.

Fleetwood Mac: is one of the greatest bands out there and you can never get tired of there records............Even my little sister's little boy O who is 6, sings along to their songs and loves them as well.......we have had many sing alongs on our car journey etc singing along to Fleetwood Mac at the top of our voices!!!

This is a wonderful book and a must have for a fan of Fleetwood Mac.

This is a must book for any fan new and old. Plus, a great Christmas or Birthday Present......

Big Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for my ARC.

3 Stars

I am a casual fan of Fleetwood Mac, especially after watching "The Dance" concert and documentary back in 1997.

This concise book (about 240 pages) covers the entire history of Fleetwood Mac, from its revolving door of changing band members, albums they recorded, and concert tours completed. Once the current form of the band is discussed, their ensuing album is shown, listing all the songs and describing them in depth. If you don't know the songs on these albums, those particular entries will probably be of no great interest (I skimmed through many). The book is not exactly "dry" but is factual- a straight run through of Fleetwood Mac's entire career and their output. It also touches on the solo works of Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood. There is no "fluff" here, so if you want to read a book about Fleetwood Mac that explores more of their personal lives and emotions, this won't be the one to Wow you.

Thank you to Ad Lib Publishers / Palazzo Editions for providing an advance reader copy via NetGalley.

As a huge music fan I have a passing interest in Fleetwood Mac (preferring the original incarnation truthfully). With that in mind I couldn't engage maybe as well as the true fans but the book is well researched and I imagine is a must for Fleetwood Mac fans.

The Fletwood Mac was a band in the background, I loved some of their songs but it was never at the top. This book was a good opportunity to get to know them and learn about their songs.
Loved it, great photos and very informative
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Fleetwood Mac is, in my opinion, one of the greatest bands of all time. You just can’t name a much better album than Rumours. The record sales speak for themselves. So when I saw a new biography pop up on NetGalley, I was dying to read it.

I’d never looked much into their history, so this book was a treasure trove of information. I liked the breakdown of all of their albums with a commentary on each track. Reading about each of the many line-ups over the years was interesting as well. One thing I enjoyed very much was the mention of Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which is a much loved favorite of mine.

Thanks as always to NetGalley for the ARC.

Everywhere is a good chronological history of Fleetwood Mac. Even as a fan, there were some aspects that I was unaware of and the book provided great context to the songs and albums. It was an easy, engaging read.

Thanks to NetGalley and Ad Lib Publishers for the opportunity to read Fleetwood Mac: Everywhere by Mike Evans. I have loved this band forever and will read every word ever written about them. Mike Evans' book includes some terrific photos as well as very good summations of songs.

This book about Fleetwood Mac has some gorgeous photos of the band. That is its main virtue. There is hardly any new material disclosed or discussed. For those familiar with FM, there's nothing new here.
