This book sadly wasn’t for me. There just didn’t seem to be very much happening, all over eleven days.
It centers around Adam and his family moving into a new house and discovering a secret room with long forgotten items in them. But someone from the past wants these items.
Adam has no idea who wants them or why and throw in some murder, suspicious deaths and missing people. It had the potential to be interesting, but I couldn’t warm to Adam or anyone else and I started skipping it very quickly so I could get it finished.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bonnier Books UK for the ARC in return for an honest review.

A brilliant fast paced thriller read from one of my favourite authors which kept me on the edge of my seat all the way
All the characters were interesting and the storyline was excellent.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bonnier Books for this great ARC which I have no hesitation in recommending.

I didn't love this one as much as TM Logan's other books which makes me sad. The storyline was great and the characters were interesting, but I just didn't connect to it the way I have with his other books.

I read and loved all books TM Logan has written, so I knew I couldn't go wrong by picking this one up... and indeed I was not disappointed, I think this is probably the best one he has ever written.
Full of mystery, very dark, this book is filled with situations and things that cannot be explained. I was in the dark for most of it, I really had no clue who was behind it all, why, and how... what a wild ride. I really loved not being able to predict where the story was going. The ending was clever, I didn't guess the perpetrator but I wonder if reading the book for a second time I would be able to find clues... because I'm sure they were scattered all over the place but I wasn't able to see them at the time.
An absolute page-turner, this is a must read for all thriller lovers!
Thank you NetGalley and Bonnier Books UK for a digital advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

When I got an email to say I would be automatically approved for this book I was excited to get my hands on another TM Logan having enjoyed the other books I’ve read.
I must say I wasn’t disappointed, I flew through this book and enjoyed every minute of it.
The whole way through I thought I knew what was going to happen and to some extent I was right but I definitely didn’t see the ending coming!!
The plot was clever and the characters all worked so well together and were intriguing, always having to second guess intentions!
A brilliant thriller that kept me on my toes and wanting to read on to find out what was going on!

Oh this book was so good! I know I'm always going to love a new T M Logan book and this one was no exception.
The story begins with Adam, Jess and their 3 children moving into their longed for forever home. However, whilst unpacking, Adam stumbles across a secret hidden door. What he finds there will change the life of his family forever and nothing will ever be the same.
I found this completely unputdownable from the start and stayed up until late into the night to finish it! The plot is imaginative, yet believable, the characters are real and the twists and turns are tension packed! The atmosphere of the old Victorian house is brilliantly captured, making the heart pounding moments even more terrifying.
Like some of T M Logan's earlier books, this would make an incredible tv series!
Highly recommended to anyone that loves a tautly plotted, well written domestic thriller.
Huge thanks to author T M Logan, publishers Bonnier Books UK Zaffre and Net Galley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Adam and Jess move into a new house, a rambling Victorian villa right at the very top of their price range. Before long
Adam discovers a door hidden behind a built-in wardrobe, concealing a hidden room. Inside, Adam discovers an array of forgotten items, among them a wallet, an antique watch, and an old mobile phone. Jess thinks they should simply throw them away. But Adam resists. He is fascinated by these items and how they came to be inside the hidden room.
Adam, Jess and family have just moved into a new home, only for Adam to find a hidden room inside a built-in wardrobe. Adam is desperate to find out more about the items he found hidden in the secret room. But the more he investigates, the more intrigued he becomes. But Adam is hiding secrets too.
The story is filled with mystery, suspense, secrets, and it's a tense read. There are plenty of twists and red herrings. It's told from Adam's perspective. There are some really shady characters, and some eerie and creepy situations. This page turning read had me on the edge of my seat.
I would like to thank #NetGalley #BonnierBooks #Zaffre and the author #TMLogan for ,y ARC of #TheDreamHouse in exchange for an honest review.

Very grateful for the ARC @netgalley @tmlogan @bonnierbooks.
What a read Jess and Adam but what sounds like the most amazing house. Their three beautiful children by their sides. Then the find which changes everything. Suspense engaging totally suprised. Felt thank ful for the support Adam gets although trust no one. Love the quote “it’s only bricks and mortar, after all. A house is home because of the people in it”

Adam, finds a secret room when he moves into an old house with his family. In the secret room is a piece of furniture with drawers holding various random items, Instead of throwing the items out, Adam decides to investigate further which proves to be a big mistake as it puts him and his family in danger. Who can he trust? An edge of the seat thriller which kept me guessing until the end and I still did not guess the perpetrator.

A proper edge-of-the-seat thriller! I was hooked from the start and what a read it was with so many twists and turns that I pretty much suspected every adult in the book as being the villain at some point. The creepy feel, the ever present threat and the need to get to the truth had me picking up the book at every opportunity. This is another cracking story from an author who never disappoints. Highly recommended. My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

➡️synopsis
When Adam and his family move into their dream house nothing could be better until he finds a secret room with some curious and intriguing objects. He decides to investigate how they ended up there thus by setting in motion a series of frightening and threatening events…
Sounds good right?! And it was, especially the first half. As Adam begins establishing everything and the investigation commences, I found I was turning the pages with ease, the pace of information was good and the discoveries interesting. The tension was established easily and uncertainties about other characters rife. I did however struggle to connect to Adam and his family - I can’t really say what it was that kept me at arms length, I just never settled in with them, especially lead Adam. While this didn’t affect too much it definitely stopped me getting fully immersed in the story.
The second half of the book was also filled with a lot of fluff at the beginning and it took a long time to get to the nitty gritty but when we did it was really good, action filled and completed the story well. I just really wanted more from the discoveries and clues which in my opinion would have made the book.
Overall, this was a really enjoyable thrilling read that kept me reading at a pace till the end.
With thanks to the author, Zaffee books and @netgalley for allowing us to read this one early!

Adam, Jess and their two children have moved into their Victorian dream home.
When Adam finds a hidden room, which has a chair, desk and some objects locked inside it, it’s not long before sinister things start to happen.
Why are there hidden cameras in the house & grounds? More to the point, who would have put them there as the last house owner was elderly.
I have to say that this story scared me witless, even though it was unnecessary! The power of suggestion was all that was needed for me to become a quivering wreck.
I had to keep putting my kindle down to recover, but I was so invested in the story, that I was soon picking it up again.
Each character had me questioning and guessing over who was doing what, yet the author managed to run rings around me as I was completely wrong!
This is a well written tale, which is full of secrets, and those secrets need solving. A superb story from the author.
My thanks to Zaffre, Bonnier Books UK & NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.

I'm a big fan of T.M. Logan's books and The Dream Home did not disappoint. Containing healthy measures of spookiness, terror, mystery and subterfuge the story of Jess and Adam's move to their dream home kept me reading and guessing until the early hours although I still didn't manage to guess who the murderer was! Definitely one 5* book I'm happy to recommend.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy. All opinions are my own.

This book on pace alone is incredible. I was hooked from the first chapter right throughout and had absolutely no clue what was going to happen at the end. I have a couple of minor issues with the ending but as always the writing for this is very addictive and keeps you engaged. A very fast paced slightly unrealistic thriller which will literally keep you up all night!

I haven't read a thriller that kept me up addictively turning the pages quite like The Dream Home in a while. The misdirection was so expertly woven into the plot, to the point that I didn't know what to think or who to trust. I really liked the main character and could relate to him in lots of ways, I being partial to the odd fixation and sharing the same have-to-know-all-all trait. I was pretty sure I had guessed the ending, Nope! I wasn't even close. A clever, addictive must-read. 5 stars.

I’ve been a big fan of T M Logan for a few years now and have read most of his books and always love them!
His latest had me hooked from the very first page and racing through to the end to see what happened! So gripping with brilliant twists and highly entertaining characters, the master of the stay up all night thriller has done it again! Cannot recommend enough!
Thank you so much to the publisher for the chance to read

This book had so many twists and turns, one chapter you think you have worked it out but actually you have no idea!
Enjoyed this book

I really liked the premise of this book and it started off really well. I felt that it dragged on far too much and could have been shorter. I lost interest towards the end and wasn’t particularly bothered about the outcome.

At the start of this book I was really engaged and eager to know as much as I could about the plot. As it went through I started to get a bit lost on the plot and all the different characters. The characters also started wearing on me in the end. Therefore I am only rating this book 3 stars.

This book has a fantastic plot line of Adam, Jess and their children moving into their new 'dream home'. When Adam finds a hidden room on the top floor, things start to happen...
I loved the mystery element of the story and was almost egging Adam on to dig and found myself thinking, "What would I do." I felt the first part of the book wasn't quite as fast-paced as some of the authors' other books I have read. However, when it got to the middle of the book, I was fully gripped and just couldn't stop reading and turning them pages. This book gave me an eerie feeling from the start, and that continued to grow as well as a sense of paranoia. Over who could be trusted and what was going to happen.
I would definitely recommend this if you are into psychological thrillers, you won't be disappointed.
I also want to say thank you to the publisher and Netgalley, as I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review.
