I have read several T.M. Logan books and every time they have never disappointed, so I was very happy to be able to read ‘The Dream Home’. Every time the books have you so engrossed that i find it hard to stop reading for a little while just so I am able to do other tasks, this book is filled with tension, twists and turns and is definitely a must read.

This book begins with a family of five consisting of Adam, Jess and their three children moving into a Victorian villa in Nottingham but inside the house a hidden door is found which houses a secret room and from there on out you wonder if something sinister is going on, before long they wonder if they have made a mistake in buying the home but Adam decides to keep looking into the items they found and from there on out was the family walking into a nightmare?

The plot was amazing and i was glued to this book wondering what was going on, the characters are written really well and i could feel the fear and tension through them. Constantly filled will twists and turns some even very creepy. This is definitely one of my favourite thrillers, some moments i was floored by and in some parts can be a little scary reading especially reading in the night.

I have been thinking about this book even after I have finished it and will be re-reading it again and would recommend to fellow readers, this is a must read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bonnier Books UK and the publishers for the copy of this arc in exchange of my full honest review.

T.M. Logan never disappoints and this as per usual was a fabulous read.

One of those books where you want to give people a shake (namely the police in this one) and you long for people to be taken seriously to stop the drama unfolding!

Claustrophobic at times, there’s tension, cliffhangers, plenty of pace - and as a result, the pages have a nifty knack of turning themselves!

Having read all of Logan’s books - they’re all belters and I hope that there are plenty more to come.

91 Regency Place is a rather down at heel rambling Victorian Villa, but it’s in the smartest part of town, and will eventually be brought back to its former grandeur by its new owners, Adam, Jess and their three kids - but 91 Regency Place has some hidden secrets, all of which are about to be revealed!

Adam discovers a hidden door behind some fitted wardrobes. Behind the door is a small room containing an old armchair, a side table and a dresser. Inside the dresser Adam finds a wallet, an antique watch, an old mobile phone, a scarf, a key, and a dog collar - and so the mystery begins! Why has someone taken such trouble to create a secret room, and exactly who did these items belong to, just what does it all mean?
Well, Adam is about to find out, much to his and his family’s cost!

T M Logan certainly knows how to write a terrific domestic thriller - this is fast paced, and full of tension. ‘The Dream Home’ is the epitome of a page turner! Highly recommended.

TM Logan does it again- I think this is actually one of my favourites.really tense, a bit spooky and totally unguessable.
When a secret room is found in their new house, everything starts to unravel for the family. The many threads of the mystery intertwine and you'll not sleep til it is resolved!

T M Logans new release The Dream House due out 29th Feb 2024. This was an advance copy care of Netgalley and the publisher.
Another hit with me. Very tense thriller and a 'page turner' that will keep you hooked.
A family move into their new victorian house and find a hidden room with some random objects left behind. Why are they hidden. Who do they belong to? Soon it becomes clear someone wants them back. Adam, the father, starts suspecting everyone and his paranoia builds. I found myself suspecting everyone too and when the big reveal comes, I didn't see it coming. 🤣. I can see why Logans books are adapted for tv- great thrillers. This one fits the bill.

4 and a bit stars really. Mr Logan is a master at writing books filled with suspense, twists and red herrings and this story has plenty of these. It's got short chapters, most with, if not a cliffhanger, a steep hill hanger that urge you to read the next one. And maybe one more.

This is my third T M Logan novel so I'm not surprised that I didn't see the end coming, If you like an easy-reading suspense, read this one and Mr Logan's other books.

Whizzed through this book - sucked me in and kept my interest throughout.
I found it very atmospheric, which I sometimes lose in an ebook. I actually felt creeped out at certain times.
Good Characters, thought I knew how it would end, but turns out I didn't.
Highly recommended, best TM Logan book I've read so far.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

In 'The Dream Home' , Adam, Jess and their young family move into their ideal house in an idyllic Nottingham setting. The house is far bigger than they could have afforded but somehow they've managed to buy it. They move in full of hope and excitement. On the first day, Adam discovers a hidden room within one of the attic rooms. He eagerly breaks into it, and finds a sealed up cabinet inside. When he manages to break into the cabinet, there are numerous every-day objects in there; a scarf, glasses, dog tag, a watch and an old mobile phone. Adam and his wife text the number on the phone to try and return it- and then the nightmare begins.

It was a speedy page-turner which kept my interest from the outset, but I did have to suspend my disbelief for almost all of the book. Previous TM Logan books have felt much more realistic to me, whereas this was too much of a stretch for me. I'm not a fan of the 'couple buying a house in need of major renovation, only to discover a dark secret.' trope, anyway, so this wasn't the book for me, but will look forward to the next book from him!

A great read that rocks you to your foundations!!

Wow, what a book, absolutely loved this. Might be TM Logan's best book yet.

Adam and Jess and their family have just moved to their dream home and find a hidden room behind a wardrobe with some unusual items, which Adam is keen to find out more about. The more he investigates, the more fascinated he becomes, with some very interesting and scary times ahead for all.

Incredibly spooky and so many twists, you'll end up lost, particularly that ending. Hope The Dream Home makes it the small screen too with a such a great storyline. I really felt like I was there. Great writing from TM Logan.

A big thanks to Bonnier Books UK, Zaffre for the opportunity to read this fantastic review title ahead of publication date.

T M Logan is one of my favourite authors , and I regularly recommend his books when asked for suggestions for a good thriller.
His work is consistently excellent , well written and suspenseful. All the characters are well rounded and easily relatable.
I really struggled to put this book down as I got so absorbed in it.
I think this book would make an excellent reading group book ,and also an absorbing tv show.
Very highly recommended.

Adam and his family move into their new home, a splendid old Victorian home in a posh area which has them stretched financially, and more or less immediately they discover Strange Things. He discovers a hidden room behind a fitted wardrobe, in which is an old cobweb covered desk; inside the desk are a number of objects which include a dog collar and a Rolex watch. It’s obvious this room has been undisturbed for decades, so who used it, and who put these things there? Next they find a CCTV camera way up near the top of a tree pointed right at the front of the house, and a couple more inside. These, apparently, aren’t ancient relics put in place by the previous (ancient) owner, but rather are quite new. Who put them there and why? The plot thickens – or it might if only things moved a bit faster. …

Let’s return to Adam, a man who lies to his wife on a regular basis, and whose mission in life is to find out who owned the dog collar. I’m talking, here, about a collar worn by a dog, not a man-of-the-cloth. He even drives out to the address on the dog tag and there, much to his surprise, and my amazement, after all these years the owner of the dog – or rather, his wife – still lives in the house. Even more surprising is that she invites this total stranger into her home for tea, biscuits and a stroll down memory lane on the strength of a dog collar! Would you? I know I wouldn’t.

I’m about halfway through, and although there are several glowing reviews for this I will have to leave Adam to solve the mystery on his own. I’m not interested in him as a character, who constantly refers to the many boxes because they’ve “just moved in”…..that’s what tends to hang around after a move, we don’t need to be repeatedly bludgeoned about it. I don’t care about the dog’s owner or his sad wife, or the owner of the watch, or Adam’s family who are as flat as a piece of paper.

This is the second, maybe the third of this author’s books I’ve tried and given up on, so I think it’s time I accepted his books are just not for me.

My thanks to the publisher for granting my wish for this book on Netgalley, but I now know to avoid Mr Logan’s books.

TM Logan is an auto buy author for many years now since I first read The Catch and I have read all his books ever since and this book did not disappoint! This is not my favourite of his but definately draws you in instantly by the title and the opening chapters. Would highly recommend to everyone and already waiting for the next book!
Thanks to Netgalley & Bonnier books for sending me this arc in exchange for my honest review.

This is my fourth T,M. Logan book and I’ve enjoyed all of them. They are always complex and very twisty thrillers.
In ‘The Dream Home’ a young family move into an old Victorian house which they plan to be their forever home. Virtually straight away the husband Adam, discovers a secret room in the top of the house where he discovers some old items, one of which is an expensive Rolex watch. Adam becomes obsessed with finding out more about this secret room and the items he has uncovered and so begins the tale……..

It took me a while to work out who was who and how they fitted in to the complex storyline. Then, my usual feeling of having to bear in mind that it’s fiction and to remember to allow for some poetic licence and having to suspend my feelings of ‘really’ and ‘who does that’ occurred as Adam continues to pretend he’s at work, all the while looking into the ‘mystery’ of the items and the hidden cameras that they discovered in the house and in the garden. For a happily married man, he thinks nothing of perpetually lying to his wife!

I did feel the book dragged a bit in the middle and I got a bit impatient but I persevered and got to the end only to discover that I hadn’t had a clue as to who the perpetrator was, any ideas that I had were completely wrong!

Not my favourite, sadly, but in fairness to the book and the author I much prefer when the police solve the crime!

My thanks, as always go to the author, the publishers and to NetGalley for an advanced e.reader copy of this book.

When Adam, Jess and their three children move into their dream home everything seems perfect . The discovery of a hidden room with a dresser which contains several mysterious objects including an old mobile
at first seems intriguing but soon becomes a living nightmare.

Adam is intrigued by the objects and starts to investigate how or why they got there. With the discovery of hidden cameras in his home , things seem to become increasingly sinister.

As the storyline unfolds we learn how these objects are linked to the history of the house . As Adams research deepens so does a series of terrifying events that not only puts himself in danger but also his family.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. It is full of suspense and intrigue and had me trying to solve the mystery whilst having an eerie feeling as I page turned .

If you’re a fan of mystery thrillers this is one not to be missed, maybe not so much if you’re thinking of a house move in the near future.

Another page turning read from TM Logan - a family move into a rambling old house in need of repair and, after finding a secret room, the protagonist makes one wrong decision that starts him and his family down a path of danger.
A well constructed page turner this one will appeal to fans of the author's previous books and new readers alike.
Read it in a couple of sittings and really enjoyed this one.

📣THE DREAM HOME - T.M LOGAN: MY REVIEW 📰

This isn't out till next month, but it is going to do really well,I can feel it!
Adam and Jess have just moved into a large Victorian house with their 3 kids. As he's checking out the rooms Adam discovers a hidden door to a secret room behind a wardrobe. Inside he comes upon a few abandoned items, like a phone, wallet, watch and other bits. Jess says they should just throw them away but Adam is intrigued..there's obviously a story behind them. He should've left well alone. What happens next he couldn't have even imagined. I'm sure murder, stalking, kidnap, and bribery wouldn't have been at the top of his list if he had!
This book is thrilling! It got to a point where we thought we knew who was responsible, and could see why Adam was suspicious of everyone, but it wasn't who I thought. It keeps you hooked, and guessing. T.M Logan strikes again. Get your hands on this in February 📖

I've had the pleasure of reading most of TM Logan's books and 'The Mother' is still my favourite. However, 'The Dream Home' sent shivers down my spine. I think it's the creepiest novel that Logan has written, not least because it seems like it could actually happen.

Unless you move into a brand new home, there's often something the previous owners have left behind. We found newspapers in our loft dating back to the 1930s. Adam, though, finds another small room in his attic space - one that isn't on the house plans. From that moment on, things spiral out of control as Adam seeks to solve the riddle of the hidden room and the secrets contained within.

It took me a while to settle into the book (I'm like that with most books at the moment) but once I was in, I was heavily invested. TM Logan has paced this book just right, with the reveals at the right time and casting doubt on everyone. I didn't guess who was responsible (so frustrating!) but in some ways, I do love that. I think this is another book that could be heading for a TV adaption.

The Dream Home is an absolutely fantastic read and is hands down T.M Logan's best book to date. I loved everything about this story, the characters were fantastic and so well written - it has been a couple of days since I actually finished the story and I honestly feel like I am missing Adam and his family. I love that the book was set in Nottingham, which is very local to me, as I love being able to really visualise the places T.M Logan describes.
I cannot speak more highly about this book - it is an amazing story with such originality - it kept me up reading over night, I just could not put it down.
I cannot wait for T.M Logan's next book!

Thank you to NetGalley and Bonnier Books UK for my ARC.

I have read most of TM Logan's books over the last couple of years and so was absolutely delighted to be approved to read his latest thriller.
The story follows Adam, Jess and their children as they move into their dream home. Adam soon discovers a secret room in the house. Curiosity takes over and he explores the room only to find some possessions of an unknown person. One of the items is an old flip phone, again, Adam is curious to find out its owner and decides to text/ring the number. From this point onwards things progress very quickly and take a dark turn.
Adam has secrets of his own which further complicate his situation. He works through to try and solve the mystery of the room, the items and the house.
I really enjoyed this book and it was written in typical TM Logan style, so if you enjoyed his previous books, you're in for a treat with his latest. I always find the endings of his books fast pace and almost frantic. I finished the final 40% in one sitting as I was desperate to reach the conclusion.
Really enjoyable, creepy, suspensful and fast paced. Thanks for the opportunity to read and review.
