Amy and Flynn are on their way to her sister's wedding. They've been together for a while but are currently not even in the same book let alone the same page. Cue an external force that ends up causing them to switch bodies. Why has this happened? Will there be able to fix the miscommunication that is causing a rift between them? Will they be able to get back to their own bodies?
This is the perfect book for a holiday read or if you are looking for something a little light. It was funny and had a great range of personalities through the side characters which really helped to flesh the novel out. It tugged at my heartstrings and got me really rooting for Amy and Flynn to find their way back to each other. I won't tell you if they did or not. 🤐

Although an interesting read, I found it difficult at times to keep up with who was speaking and when. I can't go in to too much detail without spoiling the story, but once you start to read I think you will understand what I mean.
The actual storyline between the two main characters is good, showing their love, seeing them realise what they might lose and also seeing themselves from another point of view means this story has depth. This makes the characters easy to interact with.
The formatting on the kindle wasn't great, with the author name and book title popping up in random places, but I imagine this will be sorted when the book is officially published.
Overall a 4 star for me, didn't enjoy it quite as much as the last Cesca Major story, but it was still a good, if not confusing, read.

I can't help but love a good old body swap trope and wasn't surprised to read that this has been picked up to be turned in to a feature length film.
Flynn and Amy are on their way to her sister's wedding when lightening strokes and they find themselves in each others bodies. What could possibly go wrong?
Likeable characters, self discovery and a side of deep rooted scars from their younger years. A fantastical read. Thanks to netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read and review this.

I loved the premise of this story, the idea of a body swap and the insights that are revealed by walking a mile in each others shoes, however I struggled reading this as Amy was so unlikeable.
I gave 2 rather than 1 star as the last 20% of the book did manage to pull something back and I actually enjoyed, it was just hard work getting to that point

The idea of switching bodies isn’t a new one for a movie, but I haven’t read too many person switch romance books; so this lighthearted, fun romcom, has been a welcome change. I found myself smiling time and time again while reading this amusing and entertaining story - it has likeable characters and lots happening to keep things interesting. While the premise is a bit weird, the characters’ interactions and subsequent challenges of being in an opposite gender body, are highly amusing and utterly relatable; especially in the context of being at a family gathering as key wedding party guests. The story moves along at a good pace, with several sub-plots to keep you riveted from beginning to end. Highly recommended; so many thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK for allowing me to get an early copy of this book, which is out on 4th July 2024.
