This was exactly what I needed: a cute rom-com with fake dating, vampires, a cozy coffeeshop and some found family. Also, if Lucy and Elias don't have their book later on I will be upset, they were great together.

Thank you to Netgalley.com for providing me with an ARC of this title.

This was an easy fun read. Pandora is our main FMC, she is a vampire and needs to marry by her 125th birthday to receive her inheritance.

Meet our main MMC Victor, a human who needs money to help find his university education who agrees to marry her.

This book had a lot of fun tropes! A fake marriage, forced proximity. I liked how the author poked fun at tropes including the one bed trope!

This book had every vampire/werewolf trope imaginable! Pandora's parents were giving off major Gomez and Morticia vibes.
Don't go in to this book seriously! It's a silly, goofy fun time.

Elias and Lucy made the book funny for me and I did find myself chuckling at a few lines.

There is nothing groundbreaking here, but it was fun to read between more heavy hitting books that I've been reading!

This was such a fun and fast-paced read! My Big Fat Vampire Wedding gave me exactly what I wanted—vampire chaos, fake marriage tropes, and a good dose of humor.
Pandora and Victor had great chemistry, and their banter kept things entertaining all the way through. I really enjoyed the mix of rom-com vibes with the supernatural twist—it didn’t take itself too seriously, which made it super enjoyable.
A few parts felt a little rushed, but honestly, I was having too much fun to care that much. Solid 4 stars from me—perfect if you’re in the mood for something light, witty, and a little bit ridiculous (in the best way).

3/5

This book is like a warm cup of blood-spiked chai on a crisp October morning: comforting, a little weird, and exactly what you need if you’re in the mood for something soft, spooky, and tropey in the best way.

The setup is delightfully absurd—Pandora, a slightly offbeat vampire who dreams of running a bookshop, needs to get hitched before her 125th birthday to claim her inheritance. So she ropes in Victor, a sweet, broke PhD student with a face made for trouble and a desperate need for funding. Fake marriage? Check. Mutual pining? Oh yes. Slightly out-of-place but still steamy scenes? Absolutely.

This is a “don’t take it too seriously” kind of read—packed with classic vampire clichés, over-the-top family drama, and a werewolf bestie who deserves her own novella immediately. Pandora leans a little hard into the “I’m not like other girls, I’m undead” territory, but it kind of works if you just embrace the camp. The dialogue is a little uneven at times (especially leading into spicy moments that feel a touch trend-chasy), and the plot occasionally forgets things that just happened a scene ago. But weirdly? That chaotic energy sort of adds to the charm. It’s like paranormal fanfic meets Hallmark movie—with fangs.

The romance is soft and slow-burning with a third-act breakup that doesn’t overstay its welcome and a conclusion that wraps things up with a gentle bite.

Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for the ARC!

Remember the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding? Now add vampires and you have this hilarious rom-com! I had some great belly laughs while reading this chaotic / quirky romance! I loved Pandora and her bizarre family as well as Victor! This was an easy quick read.

4.25/5 stars! This was a fun fake dating, fluffy, humorous rom-com. I loved the nod to My Big Fat Greek Wedding, because the meddlesome vampire family certainly matches that energy. I enjoyed the pacing and the love story. Would definitely read another book by this author.

This is a delightful five-star read. This one has its moments, and can be a little much, but if you just go with it and enjoy it as a really good read, then you will love it as much as you will no doubt love Pandora, who I think is like the reader in all of us deep down. You can so imagine why she goes to the lengths that would be willing to go to, for her dream, who wouldn’t want a bookshop that everyone is welcome as long as they get along, it makes everything come together and adds a great layer to this story. I loved getting to know her and her crazy family, Victor was just adorable, and so easy to get behind, but when he reveals his PHD I was legit almost crying with laughter as that was like the cherry on top.

This was a lot of fun. Turns out even vampire have ridiculous marriage clauses in their inheritance, who would have thought? As a result Pandora enlists her crush to fake date and marry to get her money, and while keeping him in the dark of her true nature, she just so happens to fall in love with him.

I’ve really enjoyed the book. It’s lighthearted and fun, Pandora and Victor are cute and Pandora’s crazy vampire family is really funny. The side characters like her best friend, parents, brother, Elias, all make for sure there isn’t a dull moment in the book.

I loved this so much. It was such a fun, cute read and was exactly what I needed. Pandora and Victor were both two slightly awkward, endearing book nerds, and their love story was adorable. I loved Pandora’s eccentric family, they were hilarious and I loved all of them…except Bellatrix, she can go stand in the sun. This was such a great read and I hope the author comes back to this world because I would love to read a book about Pandora’s best friend Lucy

Fun, enjoyable read! The best parts of self-aware rom com mixed with a hilariously chaotic but well-meaning vampire family and a fake relationship trope that everyone (except the couple themselves of course) can see isn't really fake at all. Watching Victor and Pandora figure themselves out was wonderfully sweet, humorous ride. There's not a single side character I wouldn't want to see more of - Lucy and Elias, or Dante, I'm specifically looking at you! I'll definitely be looking for more from this author. <3

A fun, cozy, vampire-human romance. I liked the flip of having the FMC as the vampire and really enjoyed the relationship between the main characters. Would recommend if you’re looking for an easy vampire romance

I was in two minds whether I would enjoy this book in the first few pages but I ended up doing so. Totally bizarre and far fetched but fun. Unlikely tale of Pandora, a vampire, falling for Victor, an ordinary guy.
Mad and quirky especially Pandora's family who so so eccentric. I shuddered a little at the mention of thick viscous blood drinks but apart from that just a hoot.

I love My Big Fat Greek Wedding and this had similar vibes but with vampires. It was really cute! The timeline could have been tighter.

I LOVED this book!

The concept was cute, but SO fun! I'm a huge vampire fan and loved seeing a wide range of bloodsuckers represented. The book was low-stakes and a quick read which is exactly what I was looking for. I also really enjoyed the side characters and found them hilarious.

The only reason I knocked off a star was because the conflict was rather silly considering Pandora hadn't told Victor she was a vampire and was probably going to go through with the ceremony anyway. Not to mention Victor had pretty much already figured the entire vampire thing out so the conflict was a bit silly but I still enjoyed regardless!

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!

This was a super cozy, cute, vampire / human romance. Such a fun time. I loved that they were both big readers, and how much that was a part of their relationship. They had such good chemistry!! Both the fmc and mmc were so soft. I loved that they were gentle and just over all so kind to eachother. They were really sweet.

All of the side characters and family members were really fun, and added a lot to the plot. Every single one was more outrageous than the last. I could see a book two coming from a few of them that I would love to read.

Pandora felt a little Edward Cullen with her “vegetarian lifestyle”. Her spirit was so kind. I really loved her. Her friendship with werewolf Lucy also really brought this point forwarded. I thought their friendship was so fun. I loved Lucy looking out for her constantly. Lucy was so funny. Perfect best friend.

I had a really good time with this book. Quick read. Very entertaining.

This is a quick contemporary paranormal romcom between a human (MMC) and vampire (FMC). The FMC and MMC have a classic marriage of convenience, and there are lots of vampire family shenanigans because (of course) the MMC can't know the FMC is a vampire.

I do appreciate that the FMC is the vampire, as there just aren't enough girl vampires in books. This is a single POV from the FMC, and I liked her well enough. I don't have much of an impression of the MMC by the end, but most people will likely read this book for the vampire content anyway. Their romance was fine and sweet, and the third act breakup was very fairly predictable.

The writing was fine, but the constant use of "OK" in dialogue did annoy me by the end. The transitions between scenes were also a little jarring at times, and, more than once, I thought I had skipped a page accidentally or missed the scene change. The author is obviously a reader, with lots of references in novel to book community terms.

This book wasn't groundbreaking in the world of vampire romance, but they don't all need to be and it was a fun read. It seemed like there'll be another book following for the FMC's best friend (a werewolf) and another vampire, and I would likely read the next.

Thank you, Avon Books, for the arc!

A slow burn, vampire/human fake dating/marriage for inheritance romance was witty, fun and eventful to say the least!
Join Pandora and Victor on a cute bookish adventure organising their fake wedding whilst trying to avoid the peculiar family members and not spill the film secrets!
We meet some comical, flirty and no-filter characters along the way with plenty of banter! You'll love Vlad ❤️

3.5/5

The book itself is cute and cozy. A fake marriage arrangement for an inheritance between a vampire coffee shop worker and her long time human customer crush. It's a VERY slow burn, friends(?) to lovers romcom.

The book gets very meta sometimes since both MCs are avid readers, so tropes are mentioned by name a lot. If this is something that annoys you, I'd avoid this book.

The FMC was more relatable than the MMC. He was honestly kind of boring? We don't really get a lot of opportunities to see his personality come through. My favorite characters were the best friend Lucy and another vampire Elias, who honestly had way more chemistry than the MCs. There's definitely potential for them having their own book.

Overall, the book was fine. If you're looking for an easy, cute paranormal romance, this could be a book for you.
