A classic and enjoyable will they, won't they love story starting with a wedding at which Anna is forecasted to meet her soul mate, a man named Patrick. This had a little bit of everything - cute romance, loveable characters, relatable humour, best friends, quirky families, tourist hotspots and even a writing and book theme which I loved. I can definitely sympathise with having to run copy through Legal and Compliance and "getting sign off from ten people". Also with being better at writing than conversations, preferring to "spend a week writing and rewriting and finding the perfect tone and the perfect way to say it all."

Anna is a bridemaid at her friends wedding and is determined to do a good job, the only problem is that her ex Joel is the groomsman and he is attending with his new girlfriend. Anna is blindsided when joel tells her something that breaks her heart. She needs a distraction and photographer Patrick might just be that for her, after all a psychic did tell her she'd fall for a man named Patrick...
Then Mac arrives and well.......he complicates everything

This is such a good book and quite possibly one of the most fun rom coms i've read in a while and yes it had a few moments that made me feel really sad for Anna i felt she dealt with everything as best she could and i was really rooting for her!

Feelgood pur!

The Wedding Forecast is one of my favourite romance books of 2025! It was a surprisingly fun, relatable and emotional read for me and I was on the edge of my seat until the very end.

I loved that our main character Anne is a writer/an actual published author! Her personality was very relatable and reading about Goodreads reviews and the bookshop cardigan made me laugh like they know us readers and book lovers so well! :D In her acknowledgements, the author mentioned that this book was a love letter to booksellers and it 100% felt that way to me! Bookstores and booksellers will always have a homely, friendly and welcoming vibe and space to me and that is exactly what this book and its characters, especially Bobbi and Anna, felt like.

Moreover, the chemistry between Anna and Mac was HOT. The flirting and kissing gave me butterflies and you really don’t find out until the end if they make it or not which was frustrating (in a good way) and made for some great tension and heightened emotions both on the characters’ and reader’s side.

The few things that bothered me were some of the stylistic writing choices and the somewhat slower beginning in the first quarter. I was hooked immediately and wanted to keep reading because the book starts out with a sort of meet-cute/awkward situation, but it wasn’t until the romance between Anna and Mac sparked that I got really invested into it. I really like that after the first quarter the focus also shifts more onto Anna and her personal journey and gripes with her life and not only her love life. This book is a good mix of love and romance, as well as finding yourself and figuring out what one really wants in life.

Overall, The Wedding Forecast is a fun, relatable and moving story about what it means to find yourself, not letting the past define you and the comfort of friendship, family and love. It’s perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez and Christina Lauren!

The Wedding Forecast is my first Nina Kenwood book, and it completely impressed me.

The rom-com follows Anna, a new author who has to put her feelings about her recent breakup aside for the sake of her best friend's wedding. However, plans don't often work out, and the wedding turns out to come with horrible news about her ex, but also a ton of possibilities: she connects to the groom's lifelong best friend who lives across the world, as well as the photographer.

The book could've ended up being a more dramatic love triangle but I'm happy it wasn't. Both characters were well written, they had chemistry, and unexpected maturity.

I was happy there was no dramatic third-act breakup (although there were some moments), and it kept you guessing about who Anna would choose, considering she started dating Patrick so late in the book.

Overall, it was extremely readable, unexpectedly funny, and cute. I would've liked just a biiiit more spice. Loved the moms, and her relationship with Hayley, as well as Luke, and how living in their house never led to a huge blowout fight.

Nina Kenwood is a new author for me and I found The Wedding Forecast to be really enjoyable novel. Anna is attending her best friends wedding and her ex, Joel is the groomsman. Anna is determined to survive the weekend even though Joel is bringing his new girlfriend and they’re staying in the same house. She only has to get through 48 hours right. But when Joel drops a bombshell that rocks Anna to the core, she needs some form of distraction. Everyone is pointing her towards Patrick, he’d be perfect for her, wouldn’t he. But then she meets Mac. A great novel exploring the intricacies of breakups, moving on and finding new paths. It’s a really enjoyable novel with likeable and engaging characters and it’s hard to put down. Thank you to NetGalley, Aria and Aries and the author for the chance to review.

I thought this book ticked the boxes romcom and had a few twists in it.

I really enjoyed the book it was a quick read and really enjoyed every minute of the book just wanted to read on and find out what happened. I thought the characters all worked well together.

I was trying to decide whether it would have a happy ending or a different ending when the book was getting to the final bit but of course there was a bit of a twist where I thought she would end up with second best in the end.

I liked the funny bits they certainly made me laugh and also the sad bits where I had tears.

It would be a nice holiday read.

Would recommend this book.

It was both fun and cute, and emotional and deep. It was hilarious at the right moments, but I also teared up at times. The balance between those two sides was really well done. There was a love triangle, but I never really questioned which one of the mmcs would come out on top (yes, I had a favourite and even though the other had potential, I didn't actually think Anna was ever going to end up with him; I had trust that my guy would come out on top:)).
There was love and swoon worthy moments, there was banter and laughter, there was angst, grief and definitely emotional, sad moments. This book really had it all. And most importantly it felt real. Real life pain and real life struggles that don't have easy answers that just felt oh so relatable.
Thank you Nina Kenwood and Aria for the ARC!

Who doesn't love a wedding as a subject of a book. This is a new author for me and has been an engrossing read from the start.

Anna is bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding and her ex, Joel, is groomsman. She knows that she must be brave for her friend's big day but it's going g to be hard, especially as Joel brings his new girlfriend along too.
Maybe she can be distracted by Patrick, the wedding photographer. After all, a psychic predicted that her true love would be a guy called Patrick so it must be fate right?
But then there's Mac, a small time a tor and the groom's best friend. Somehow, there's something about him. It ant go anyway because he's chasing his dream in America whilst Anna's life is in Melbourne,
Classic will they, won't they story, in spite of the odds of making it work being stacked against them.

When Anna arrives to celebrate her best friend’s wedding, little did she know her ex would turn up with his latest girlfriend who is pregnant. However, distraction comes along for Anna in the form of two handsome young men - which one will she choose? A lovely feel good tale of relationships and keeps you guessing right up until the ending. Highly recommend

3⭐️ | 1.5 🌶️ | OUT: July 17th!

I was expecting this to be a light and fluffy rom-com but some of the themes covered took me by surprise.

I love that the main character Anna is in her 30s for a start. We follow Anna attending her best friend's wedding after a difficult break-up with her ex Joel. She is forecasted to meet her soul mate at this wedding and this is where our story starts! Anna is such a a loveable main character despite some of her flaws. I think what this book does really well is showing Anna's growth in dating and also putting herself first.

Without spoiling the story, I also really enjoyed the love clearly shown for being an author and a bookseller, I adore that there was some insight into these bookish professions which were weaved into the story.

My main issue with the book is the pacing - this book could have been a lot more concise in focusing on the main characters, I think too much backstory is given at the beginning. I was confused at 50% of the book as I didn't know how I was only halfway when I thought the story could have been concluded much sooner.

Overall this was an enjoyable read and Iook forward to reading more of Nina Kenwood's books. I would recommend this book to fans of Emily Henry or Beth O'Leary.

really enjoyed this book, we had:

x Wedding Meet-Cute
x Will they won't they
x Long Distance
x Writer x Actor
x Australia to NYC
x Strong Family and Friend Dynamics
x Ex-boyfriend presence
x Enemies? to lovers

All of these tropes made for a wonderfully put together story and I flew through the book. Anna and Mac were truly meant for each other and I loved how they navigated real-life issues with maturity and realism. We had many a one night stand, a down bad man who's not ready to give up on his dreams and plenty of chemistry.

It was an easy 5 star until the last 15% which was a shame. I really did love this story and these characters, which is why I'm so sad at how rushed the ending felt. For sure a HFN rather than a HEA

Thank you so much to Netgalley, Aria & Aries and the author for providing me with an arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

The wedding forecast by Nina Kenwood it’s a cute, funny, emotional rom-com that has a little bit of everything and it’s a perfect summer read.

When I started this I expected something completely different, but after just a few chapters I understood immediately that this wasn’t going to be “just” a rom-com. The story is packed with funny, cute and wholesome moments, but it doesn’t stop there. There’s important themes and emotions, that play a huge role in the development of the story.

It was my first book by the author and I can say I really liked her writing style, I will definitely check out her other works.

This is the first book that I have read by Nina Kenwood and hopefully it wont be the last.
Anna and Hayley had been best friends all their lives, their mothers had, and were still, best friends. At uni, Hayley had fallen in love with Luke, Luke had introduced Anna to his friend Joel and they in turn fell in love, they were a close foursome for eight years..........until they weren't.
Hayley and Luke were getting married, Anna was the bridesmaid and Joel the best man, except Anna and Joel weren't a couple anymore, they had recently had an acrimonious parting and Joel was bringing his new partner, Bianca, to the wedding, to make matters worse they were all staying in the same house. Anna was just about holding things together when Joel dropped a bombshell, a bombshell that Anna wasn't ready to hear.
The sixth member of the wedding house was Mac, Luke's best friend since childhood and now an actor in New York, he had flown from America to Australia for the wedding and he had a broad shoulder for Anna to cry on.
The attraction between Anna and Mac was there from the start but there was no future in it, budding writer Anna loved her home , her best friends and the two mums, Mac. although Australian by birth, had his own reasons for not wanting to move back to Australia, short visits were enough.
Anna's time clock was ticking, perhaps she should pursue a relationship with Patrick, the wedding Photographer, he was obviously keen and it had been predicted by psychic Sue.
This is a heart warming rom com, plenty of laughs, lots of tears and a lovely ending.
Thank you Net Gallery for this ARC, my review is totally voluntary.

Romantic, funny, and delightfully unpredictable ☁️💍. The Wedding Forecast blends wedding chaos, unexpected love, and charming characters into a feel-good rom-com with heart. Nina Kenwood’s writing sparkles with humour and relatable moments. I loved the quirky premise and the slow-burn romance. Perfect for fans of weddings, weather metaphors, and love stories that make you smile.

What a sweet romcom! I loved this book about Anna and Mac. Anna is in marketing, for a very boring company in Australia. Mac is an actor, living in New York. When they meet, while he's naked, at their best friend's wedding, attraction is immediately there. But Anna has a lot going on. And Mac is there for a few days. But when you meet someone who makes you feel everything, you cannot just let them go.

I loved the banter between Anna and Mac. I love that neither wanted the other to sacrifice for them. The writing was so well done, and I really enjoyed this story. It comes out in the UK on July 17, 2025. I am not sure about a North American release date but I hope it's soon! Highly recommend if you can find a copy!

This was such a fun book! Especially if you love fun wedding themed books or books that have a 27 Dresses vibe than this is the book for you! It was so fun and relatable our MC is on the cusp of the age we are supposed to be settling down and paring up and she is far from it…enter a ex, handsome photographer, and the most unexpected interest a aspiring actor and her luck is about to change!

Tropes:
🔥 Slow-burn romance
🦘 Australian setting
🤍 Forced proximity

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC copy of this book. *All thoughts and opinions are my own*

Anna is the maid of honour at her best friend’s wedding. Where her ex-boyfriend is also the best man, and he’s bringing his new girlfriend. She is determined to enjoy the wedding and not let this shadow it, until Joel drops a bomb and she suddenly realises how far behind her life is in comparison to everyone else. At the wedding, Anna meets Patrick, one of the photographers and he seems to be the perfect distraction. However, Mac flies into town from New York for the wedding and complicates things.

I loved this book. So much so that I couldn’t put it down. Anna is a relatable character for anyone in their 30s, and whilst there are two love interests I was definitely rooting for one over the other. The mums were brilliant side characters, adding a great level of humour. There wasn’t a single character I didn’t like, everyone was enjoyable with their own traits. This is a perfect summer romance read and Nina’s first adult one - I hope there are more to come!

A cute and lighthearted romcom that wasn’t heavy on the romance, and therefore didn’t feel too gushy and lovey dovey. I enjoyed reading about Anna and some of the really cringeworthy characters and moments in her life which made me like her even more. A great bit of holiday escapism.
