I remember reading this a couple years ago and it's a unique twist on vampires and Jane Austen's works. I am personally not a huge Jane Austen fan by any means, but I wanted to take a chance on this retelling. Boy, was I thankful for the opportunity!

The story flowed and the added vampire aspect blended in perfectly. My only knock is because I'm not a Jane Austen fan. BUT Mr. Darcy and his "rebirth" as a vampire - yes, please! He was a more likeable character in this form and more understood in my opinion.

I enjoyed the dual perspective narrative of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth. It adds an enhanced element of drama, intrigue, and element to the plot I wish Jane Austen herself would have added into her original story. Great vampire take on a classic tale!
