All You Need Is Love is an excellent portrayal of a wide variety of families. It is a perfect book to be a window or mirror for diverse students. This book offers many readers a glimpse into what makes a family so important no matter what it looks like.

Cute poems about all different families. I'm struggling to determine whether I like it but the rhyme scheme turns the message into something trite. Nonetheless, this is definitely a book I will add to my classroom library and integrate to my Poetry Speed Dating Activity as it offers a wholesome look at different families.

I liked how many different family combinations were shown, and how simply those differences were illustrated. I think the collection clearly shows that it is the love of a family, regardless of those that form it, is the most important part of any family. The illustrations and rhyming stories offer some humor and insights that will engage readers of all ages and bring home the importance of love and acceptance to any readers ready to take it in.The text following the stories can further support the adults trying to nurture those in various family make ups or explain changes.

I'm always looking for books that my students can identify with so I requested a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The thought and intent of the book was lovely, but short. I love discovering new poetry collections so that all my kids can try to find at least one poem that they can identify with. The execution of the book was slightly muddled, with some poems trying to hard to fit the certain rhyme scheme and theme.
