A very promising start! Paige Toon's prose style is a joy to read, and I like what I've seen of the characters so far. I'll definitely be checking out the full book.

Definitely left me wanting more ..... This sample was not enough!!!!! As usual Paige Toon draws the reader in from the first page - delightful characters - setting the scene for what I know would be a great read!!!!!

I am a Paige Toon fan and would love to read the entire book, I can't wait to know what will happen to Bridget. Thanks for sending the "preview" of the first chapters.

I probably shouldn't have requested this sample for The Last Piece Of My Heart, because now I can't wait for it to be May and finally hold the full-length novel in my hands. I've been reading so many great reviews and am jealous of every single advanced reader. Bridget seems to be different from all the other characters Paige has created. To be honest, I got the feeling she's kinda slutty, but she didn't seem that way, so Paige manages great creating another wonderful character of hers. I can't wait to find out more about Bridget's story, her profession, the way the novel turns out and her love life, of course.

 I love Paige' stories, she's got a relaxing writing style, creates a story that's fresh and unique peppered with people that feel as close as friends to me. Her stories always make me sad to finish, but I know I'll enjoy re-reading them. In fact I've just finished a (second!) re-reading of Johnny be Good and Baby be Mine, having got that first one years back when it was free. 
If authors ever doubt the value of making books free for a time then don't, I've gone on to buy so many where I've found the first book free or cheap, and of course now there's KU, and I get many stories that way too. Risk free reading IMO. 

I didn't read the description properly :-( Just saw Paige Toon and clicked request...then saw it was a sample, and darn it, I want more, now!!
This book sounds another winner, and this taster has really whetted my appetite for more.
I think I know where the story might go - but then again maybe I'm totally off base....

Stars: Five, a small sample but which makes me really want the whole story.

This is a type of book that should be feature on a Hallmark channel for a movie. The author did a great work on taking the readers in to what Bridget is feeling and seeing; really putting you to their world. I highly recommend this book to those who wants a sweet and lovely story to read. I can't wait to see this book at the bookstore.

Woo hoo, its the best time of the year - it's time for the new Paige Toon book. Stunning covers, and a dose of escapism and fun, just what you come to expect and love about her books. The Last Piece of my Heart is shaping up to be another best seller and book that is a must read for the summer months. I cant wait to read the rest of it now.

A promising start to a book. I love the idea, and I believe the execution has the chance to be hilarious! I would love to read the entire novel.

Bridget is a travel journalist whose dream it is to turn her blog into a novel. She writes about relationships, and her blog has been successful thus far. However, her book has been rejected by every publisher she's submitted to. Just when she's about to give up hope, she takes an alternative route and agrees to finish a best selling novel whose author, Nicole Dupre, has recently died. She is happy to have the job, although under sad circumstances, but as Bridget gets to know Nicole's family, her prerogative begins to change.

I was already drawn to this book from the cover art alone. Then I started reading the sample chapters and I was sad that I didn't have the whole book to continue reading. The writing style is great and the story captured my attention. I want to know what happens next to Bridget's character! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this book as well as the other books that this author wrote.

Paige Toon provides her readers with an wonderful and captivating story, as most of them would expect after reading her books. Bridget in search for what is missing in her relationships, ends up in Cornwall to finish the sequel of an bestseller author who died shortly after her baby was born. Will Bridget finish the book? Where will the story leed if she gets to stay with the baby and the widower? Is she camping with Hermie?
I can't wait to get the book and finish another story that I will finish in no time and recommend to all those who are searching for bridget's last peace...

The sample chapter looks really promising with the interesting plot twist and the loveable characters. I will probably buy the book.

I have read all of Paige Toonś books and although this one is only the prologue and the first three chapters, it gives off an enjoyable vibe. I cannot wait to read the whole book.

Such a good start to the story, I can't wait to be able to purchase the full book! Paige Toon has yet to write a book i haven't enjoyed and i'm already certain that this one will be no different!

After reading the few chapters sent to my via Net Galley I can't wait to go and but the book now.
Paige has come up with another amazing idea for a story, finding the pieces of your heart, to put them all together to then hopefully fall in love for good. I am not sure I would want to go back and meet all my ex's. Bridget, sounds like an amazing character that I just want to know more about and follow her on her journey to see what happens as she becomes a ghost writer to fulfil her dreams of publishing a book, using her idea mentioned above.
I cannot wait to get the book and find out what happens next.

Really great start, Paige Toon is one of those authors whos writing is always a treat.

Always love Paige Toon's books. I hadn't realised this was only a sampler. Can't wait to read rest of book. Hopefully it will become available soon.

So far so good! I have only read the Prologue and the first three chapters but I am left wanting more! I hope Bridget's story continues along the path of being exciting and fun with hint of romance. There is a small chance that the plot of this novel will be predictable but as it is my first time reading a novel by Paige Toon I cannot say fore sure one way or the other. I can say that so far the first three chapters are entertaining, convincing and witty and that Paige Toon's novel has drawn me in. I can't wait to read "The Last Piece of My Heart" in its entirety.

I enjoyed the chapter snippets, and am excited to read the whole book! I'm reading her other book "Thirteen Weddings", and have enjoyed her others as well. I hope this full book will be released on Netgalley soon. If not, I'll buy it for a good pool read.
