I love Paige Toon, she is one of my favourite writers. This book is no exception, Paige has run a parallel with an old fashioned fairytale here, there’s a “sliding doors” thing going on which I enjoyed. Nell and Van meet very young in life and then keep meeting as the years pass, this traces their stories, their feelings for each other, life and their own circumstances and give us, as readers, a unique perspective on the “what if” aspect. The story, the dynamics, the descriptive narrative are utterly absorbing and I will def8nitely read this again.

This ARC is a sampler which feels really mean because I have to wait til May to read it properly.
The idea that good can come from bad, and sometimes things are meant to be is a classic fairy tale, but in the real modern world hopefully it can still happen.

I just love picking up the latest book by Paige Toon as you just know how incredible it will be. Five Years from now starts so brilliantly and it sounds like its going to be an emotional one! I love these characters and I just want to see if they can get past all the hurdles and finally be together forever and be happy!
