So I see myself as somewhat of a techie. I enjoy using new technologies in my personal and professional life. This book has given me food for thought about how I am not transferring this into my new business idea. Which is very much a people-centric project. I had rather written off technology as a tool to support the business but actually I was probably misconsidering my options. Even if you are not a small business owner or feel that you don't need to upgrade your technologies there are probably ideas within this book that will help you progress.

I will be reviewing my business plan in the next few weeks and the ideas I'm taking from this book will absolutely influence how I plan to go forward. I'll also be working with my accountability buddy to work through the opportunities and to support their business development. I can't wait!

I suspect that this book will move from to read pile to the to be re-read pile fairly quickly.

This book presents a lot of information relevant to the small-business person very clearly and concisely. There is something that will be useful to everyone, no matter how tiny their enterprise is. The book covers everything from setting up time-saving automated email replies, to cash flow forecasting and longer term strategies, to utilising cloud technologies and digital marketing on a large scale.
The author writes in a very accessible manner, so that even if you're not especially au fait with the latest technology you will quickly pick up what you need to know. Everyone can learn something from this book, so definitely one to recommend to all small-scale entrepreneurs with big dreams looking for advice on digital matters.
