I campaigned for Ice Cream is short and sweet. The story of Josh Lipshaw campaigning for the change in a local by-line at nine years old is a remarkable commentary on what one person can really do. The illustrations were relevant to the story and eye-catching; perfect for young children. The story itself had a strong, positive message that is emphasized by the revelation that the story is true.
This is a definite must-have and a must read, especially in American lower grade classrooms.
