A brilliant book, filled with beautiful pictures and a plethora of information. A good book for those wanting to work with moon energy and Crystal's. Saves me a lot of Google searching!

'Cosmic Crystals' by Ashley Leavy is a practical guide on how to use healing crystals with the moon phases. Each moon phase was explained and a description of crystals were included. The moon through the 12 signs of the zodiac and its corresponding crystals, and chapters on the 13 modern, Native, Celtic moons were also covered. Rituals to perform for each moon using crystals accompanied each chapter. Gorgeous colourful photography was featured throughout the book that was inspiring and aesthetically pleasing. I appreciated that Ashely chose a variety of different moonstones as her featured crystals (along with many other types of crystals) because there were some mentioned that I had never heard of before which was exciting.

Each chapter was concise enough that I understood the lunar energy perfectly, unlike other books on the Moon which I’ve read that over-explained each phase leaving me very confused. If you are a more advanced crystal user this book will probably be too simplistic, however, if you are new to crystals or working with the moon than I believe this book will be a much needed addition to your collection. I’ve been working with lunar energy and crystals for many years and I thought this book was a great refresher. It could make a great coffee-table book or feature as a permanent fixture on your altar. It’s beautiful to look at and easy to use.

A good overview of crystals and how to leverage them with the moon’s cycles. The book helps you to understand the moon’s phases and which is best for what you want to achieve with your crystals. For example, which crystals to use, with Lunar eclipses, blue moons, black moons, micro moons, super moons, and blood moons. It also provides an overview of the Lunar Zodiac and corresponding crystals. There are thirteen full moons each year and how they are used in several calendars along with their corresponding crystals.

Another great feature is the glossary at the back with some basic definitions. You’ll also find the list of recommended books and websites for further learning and study to be helpful. A great introductory book for anyone interested in using crystals with lunar energy.

Firstly, the photography and images used in this book are so beautiful; they really help to show the stones and crystals used. Next, the overall light and flowy feel of this book help make it easier to read and something that I want to come back to. Overall, the representation of crystals and the subjects discussed how the author obviously knows what she is talking about while showing her dense appreciation of crystals and stones and their power. This is a nice book for introducing work with crystals and stones, as well as the power of the moon and her cycles. I loved reading this and using it as a tool for my own spirituality.

Cosmic Crystals gives you basic crystal info but delves into the world of the moon. I really enjoyed looking at the moon phases, learning about moon astrology as well as the different names for the moon cycle. I really enjoyed learning about the different perception of the moon names and what it meant to wich people at which time in history.
Beautifully photographed, Cosmic Crystals talks you through crystals and how they can be used with the moon.

Let me just tell you- this book has it all! I loved how the author connected the lunar cycles to daily/weekly/monthly spiritual practices and applied crystal work/information to the practices. This isn't just a book about crystals and their properties, it's a book about how to apply and use your crystals to get the most out of them and how to use them to connect with source/spirit/the divine (if you're into this). Furthermore, it lays a framework for you to follow, incorporates a variety of beautiful belief systems, and always keeps a focus on helping the individual grow and learn. I'll definitely be purchasing this book and suggesting that this title be added to our library's collection when it does publish.

This is the first book about crystals I’ve read and it’s pretty easy to understand. The book explains which crystals work with the different moon phases. Also explains how to cleanse your crystals. If you use aromatherapy oils the book briefly discusses which oils work with which crystals. This is a good book for you to learn how to use crystals with the moon phases, however, if you’re looking for a book to go in-depth with descriptions of what crystals to use what ailment or event this is not the book you’re looking for.

The author provides tips on meditations and rituals to use for each moon phase and includes what crystals to use. I really enjoyed learning more about crystals in general (how to clean them, get the most energy from them, how to handle them, etc) as well as learning more about the moon phases. This is an extremely thorough book regarding all aspects of the moon and how to use crystals during the lunar cycle to benefit you. The photos are outstanding all through it. Just looking at those through the book is calming and makes the book really worth the money. The author gives a quick but good lesson on crystals themselves regarding charging, cleansing, and grounding before using them and gives a short list of some of the most popular ones to use and what they are used for. There is a very detailed section on each part of the lunar cycle and which crystals are good to use and for what reason. The author also has another detailed section on the moon in zodiac signs and which crystals to use at those times. She then discusses special moons, such as blood moons and black moons, for every single month of the year – I had no idea there were as many as there are. I cannot imagine anyone have any questions left regarding this subject after reading this book. The author has obviously done a great deal of research into the topic. She does mention at the beginning what got her started on crystals with the lunar cycle in the first place. This would be a great book for anyone wanting to advance their learning with using crystals and the moon in their practice.

This book is amazing! I received an ARC through NetGalley, but after reading it, I went to Amazon to put my pre-release order in. I rarely do that. Although I read a lot, I am very picky about the books I purchase, but I’m looking forward to adding this one to my collection.

With that being said, if you enjoy working or learning about crystals, you should just go purchase this book. :)

But if you need a bit more convincing, the first thing I was totally blown away by was the photography. And having a professional photographer as a husband I am very, very critical of photos. These drew me in and even if I hadn’t been interested in learning more about crystals I would have wanted to after looking at these enchanting photos. The way they crystals and other props were arranged made me want to buy every single thing in the photo.
The book’s details are wonderful for a beginner. And I can see it not only being a great refresher for someone who has been using crystals for awhile, but there’s a good chance they will learn some new things as well.

The book is very well organized, helping you to decide what crystals to enhance Moon magic, the Lunar cycle, the Lunar zodiac, the 13 Full Moons of the year, the 13 Modern Moons, the 13 Native Moons, and the 13 Celtic Moons.

Then corresponding with each lunar cycle, lunar zodiac or full moon Ashley Leavy also includes information on what animals, colors. crystals, deities, essential oils, herbs and keyword work well with them. As well as alternative moon names and a small ritual to help you inspire your creativity.

It is wonderful to read the entire book or if you are just looking for a certain moon phase or lunar zodiac sign you can easily flip to that section and be on your way to increasing your knowledge.

As much as I want you to explore more reviews for other books that I’ve read, I want you to go purchase this book more. So go, go now and get yourself a copy.

I was immediately connected to this book. "Cosmic Crystals" by Ashley Leavy is inspirational, spiritual and full of positive energy. The knowledge the author shares from her personal journey of reconnecting with herself through crystals and meditation is amazing. I have gained the knowledge of how to use crystals with moon phases, zodiac signs and how important lunar energy is in my daily life. The author talks about the purpose of different crystals, grounding and cleansing, explains the meaning of lunar energy and its history and gives the reader a lunar calendar of sorts with crystal rituals. Just amazing! I cannot say enough about the illustrations in this book, just beautiful. There are so many things I have added to my wish list, just from the photographs. The author explains how we can tap into the twelve zodiac signs' energies each month with specific crystals. She even has a section giving a description of how to use the different full moons of each month including Celtic, Modern and Native moons. But these rituals not only include crystals but herbs, essential oils, Deities, and colors (which I used for candle correspondence during my rituals). The author has also created the Crystal Moon Mystic Oracle Deck, which I would love to add to my collection. I was amazed at how spiritually connected this book makes me feel.💜

Well presented manual that is appealing, easy to use and handy to have around. Written in plain English, this is a fabulous book and full of helpful tips and would suit any level of knowledge.

Do get a bit of variety of topics relating to crystals and the moon (black moons, blue moons, Celtic). A nice book for those who have an interest in the lunar energy and want something a little different than other moon books.

If you’re looking to match up your crystals and gemstones with the right moon phases this book would be great for you.

In this book, you will find very detailed and had colorful photos which guide you with each moon phases. You get the list of crystals to use, dates, element, keywords and a bit about the crystals or gemstones being used.

The 13 Celtic moons you get alternate names, animals, crystals, colors, deities, essentials oils and more.

I recommend this book to anyone who would like to know more about how to use their crystals and gemstones in everyday life.

I just love this book. As an avid crystal enthusiast I can never get enough of books on this topic. The one thing that was refreshing was the simplicity of the book. The author gave enough background on each topic that gave you a great understanding without overwhelming the reader with information. Everything in the book is very clear and concise, which makes this an excellent quick resource book.

The one thing that I immensely appreciated was that the focus was spiritual and not focused on a particle faith. That made the book extremely inviting and non intrusive on your personal believe systems.

If you are looking for a book on lunar and energy and crystal use, this is the book for you. Ms Leavy gives a brief introduction and example of things like brief historic information, various lunar cycles, cleansing, grounding, programming your crystals and the different uses of them in various lunar cycles. She also covers the Modern, Native and Celtic 13 moons and how to utilize lunar energy depending on which astrological sign it falls into.

As a metaphysical practitioner, I love the direct and to the point approach which makes finding the information you need simple and easy. A book to be enjoyed by all levels of experience.

This book was easy to read thanks to the sections and the set-up, but I just wished there would be a bit more info.

It's a fascinating read, and it'll need several more reads to absorb all the nuance. I can tell this is going to be the type of book I come back to to reread often. I love the care that's been taken with the different types of moon and different correspondences. I also love the index at the back! When I get new crystals I can look them up to see what they're best suited to. Wonderful.

I will definitely be coming back to this one over and over.

So many wonderful rituals, and beautiful photographs abound in this magical book! I was impressed with the breadth and depth of knowledge the author has on this topic and it’s unique to any other crystal book I’ve read or seen on the market.

This is a beautiful book. The photography is gorgeous. I’m kicking myself that this author’s store is just 40 minutes from my home and I’ve never visited this stop. This book is for the more advanced practitioner but for a beginner like myself, the subject matter of lunar phases just seems to draws me in. I’m a retired nurse who used to work night shift. Everyone in the hospital knew when there was a full moon. I wish I had had a greater understanding of the different influences occurring during each different full moon phase then. I might have been able to share my knowledge.

As a practicing witch I work with both crystals and moon cycles. However I was not incorporating the two modalities until I was fortunate enough to receive this book for review. I found this immensely helpful to my personal practice.
