Socrates thought the unexamined life was not worth living, and perhaps that is why he roamed the streets of Athens accosting people and asking them their thoughts and beliefs. By sharing the wisdom of these truly inspiring people, the book hopes to provoke debate and encourage readers to examine what they have learned on their life journey so far and share their own insights with others.

If ever there was a celebrity magazine filled with deep thoughts instead of gossip, this would be it.
Interviews with Paulo Coelho, Bono, Jools Holland, Shimon Peres, Jilly Cooper, Nelson Mandela, Jack Nicholson, David Frost, Anjelica Huston, Sophia Loren, Steve Vai, Sharon Stone and many more, covering ten fundamental philosophical and ethical questions.
Subjects are God, afterlife, karma, morality, destiny, life lessons, words of wisdom, survival, admiration and peace within.
Interesting questions and a good variety of well known personalities. Some give short answers, others tell great stories. Some I found quite shallow, others surprised me with their wisdom. Never a dull moment in this book.

Thank you Netgalley and Watkins for the ARC.

This is a wonderful collection. The author asks people from the Dali Lama, Paul Coelho, to Richard Dawkins 10 questions about the more spititual aspects of life. These questions range from "Do you think this life is all there is?" To "What has life taught you so far?". This is an absolutly wondrrful book. I liked reading everyone's thoughts on these subjects. I also liked that the answers came from a wide range of people with a wide range of religious and spiritual beliefs. I would definitely recommend this book and will be purchasing it for friends and family as well as a hard copy for myself.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.

I was fascinated by this book! Imagine getting some of the brightest and most influential minds in the world together in one place and asking them the biggest questions we all ask ourselves... Is there a God? What happens after we die? How do we achieve inner peace? What is the most important thing we can know?

40 people... across faiths and non-faith (Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Athiest, etc), world leaders, artists of all types, humanitarians and scientists... all asked the same 10 questions... What has Life taught you? Some answers surprised me, some answers impressed me. Some I dismissed, some resounded with me. All were fascinating. Definitely recommend!

My thanks to the author and publisher, who allowed me to read an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. #NetGalley #WhatHasLifeTaughtYou
