This book is a collection of inspiring stories from women who have overcome challenges to become the best versions of themselves. Each chapter provides a different story of what makes these women tick and how their perspectives have influenced success. I especially loved Marla’s story of leaving the corporate world to “grow” her own business. The questions at the end of each chapter would also be perfect discussion starters for a professional book club.

The first essay in this book had me reaching for a notepad to take notes. There is so much great, real life advice in here for women. We are all just trying to figure out the best way to follow our hearts and fulfill our goals. This book gives us 14 great perspectives on how these women did it for themselves. I loved that this is a book written by women from various industries and backgrounds who overcame so much and achieved remarkable personal and professional growth. Women sharing their personal stories and life/business lessons with helpful and refreshing mentoring moment questions at the end of each segment, that challenge you to really think through and apply the lessons that each chapter goes through. I would highly recommend this book for professional women looking to grow themselves and their businesses.
