You Are Not Alone

I absolutely looooved this book! The twists and turns and the mystery kept me hooked right from the first page of the book.
I had read the author’s first book ‘The Wife Between Us’ in the past and had found it quite entertaining. But I thought this book is way better and has really upped the bar.
The main character is Shay who witnesses a woman jump in front of a train. What she does after and how she gets sucked into the life the woman left behind forms the main crux of the story.
Sarah and Greer are amazing authors and work very well together (almost like the Moore sisters from the book :-) ). Can’t wait for their next book, hope it comes out soon!

This is the first book I’ve read by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen and I’m really impressed.
“You are not alone” follows the story of Shay and the Moore sisters when their paths cross because of Amanda.
I was completely hooked from the first chapter. I wanted to understand what happened and who were these characters. There was a point in the book when I thought I knew exactly what was happening and by the end of the book I was completely astonished by how wrong I’ve got it and how fantastic the book was.
It does not focus much on an investigation but focus on all the events around the characters. There are also a lot of characters perspectives but it is really easy to follow in my opinion.
The descriptions are on point and interesting and the characters are well constructed and really well developed.
My favourite were the statistics presented: I found it very original and interesting! Also, the medical descriptions were to the point and having medical background I have absolutely loved how this part of the book was portrayed.
There are several plot twists that I didn’t expect and when I thought that I knew what was going to happened I was blind sighted by something else. Throughout the book I think I actually only got about two of my theories right! And believe me that I theorised a lot about what was going to happen in this book.
Overall I would recommend this book to thriller and mystery fans who enjoy more character focused stories. I found it really captivating and am quite curious to read other books from these authors.

Oh my word what a book. I am a huge fan of this duo of authors and was so excited to receive this arc. I absolutely, whole heartedly believe it is better to go into this book blind. In truth, I didn’t even read the blurb of this book before reading it and that was the best way. You truly will have no idea where this book is going to take you. It’s creepy and haunting, yet so believable and real. Human beings are truly the most frightening things. Absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended.

Another masterpiece from the authors of The Wife Between Us.
Shay Miller and Moore sisters are opposites of one another, one doesn't get what she want and they always get what they want. They want her life while she wants theirs.
Narration of the story is engaging and is able to hook the reader. I was sucked in the story from its first chapter.
Characters were likable especially of Moore sisters.
