This was a short to the point book. I did find that it had some helpful things that I learned from this book. This is something that you will have to practice and keep doing to get into practice which is with anything when you are trying to change for the better.

I received a complimentary copy of 24 hour Rule of Happiness from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This was a quick read. Some of the suggested activities to improve happiness will take longer than reading the book. I will try all of the suggestions, because most of them make complete sense (...however the last one sounds kind of wacky). I believe this author spent some time in a very "zen" country learning relaxation techniques and paths to happiness. This set of techniques may be the most simple. They may work for everyone. Not sure. The book was well researched and written by a doctor, so who knows? I may check back to this review after trying all of them... I will just have to find extra time for the extensive one!

This short but sweet read was definitely informative and food for thought.

I loved the viewpoint of the connection between the mind and body and how you can enhance your day to day life to feel better.

A must read for anyone needing that nudge towards a better wellbeing.

Thank you NetGalley for the copy of 24 hour Rule of Happiness: Million Dollar Smile that I read and reviewed.
This book had a few good ideas to reboot your lifestyle but I felt it was more of a diet book then anything. It spent most of the time talking about how changing your diet will change your mood. Overall, it had some interesting theories and it was very short and easy to understand. If I was the kind of person who could give up bread I would try the ideas in the book but I could not go without that food group.
This book gets four out of five stars from me.

This was a very interesting short read. I suffer from major depression disorder, anxiety, Insomnia, rheumatoid arthritis, Fibromyalgia, endometriosis and migraines. I'm very interested in trying the methods that Dr. Altshuler developed and wrote about in his book..I'll be sure to update after I try them. I am vegan and have been almost 5 years so I'm curious how I'll feel after the 0 carbs for 24 hours and just eating low glysemic vegetables during that time.
