Description

Annie knows trouble when she sees it. This time, his name is James.

Annie Adams is in her first days as a teacher at St. Bernard’s school, so she knows she needs to stay focused and prove herself. Which is fine until James walks into the staffroom. Gorgeous, mysterious, flirtatious, he ticks all of Annie’s boxes.

But she knows she has a habit of falling for the wrong guy. So is James Mr. Right? Or a beautifully packaged Mr. Wrong? In any case, he’s a colleague - best not even go there.

And Annie has plenty of other stuff to think about – her best friend Mags is in trouble, her roommate Sheila is about to get married, and she has to control a classroom of hormonally challenged teens.

So definitely best not fixate on James’s sculpted face and beautiful body... his dark curly hair and the way his eyes light up when he laughs. No, that would asking for trouble...

I really wanted to love this book because of how outstanding it sounded & how beautiful the cover was. It wasn’t very hard to get into the book. There were very simple plots in the beginning and all about the students, the school. The further I got into the book the more I noticed that the various plot lines really weren’t coming together. But I still was enjoying it. The story did have a few intense topics, but it didn’t weigh the story down. I found this book as very easy to read, cute, light, adorable and fun. I would recommend this book to women who need a break & enjoy a cute love story.
I give this book 4 stars because I enjoyed it, but I didn’t like how the plot lines didn’t really connect together.
