Description
Compelled by a mysterious force to doggedly investigate her chronic pain, dysfunctional sex life, and relationship failures, Evelyne eventually uncovers the handicap that was holding her back from living the fulfilling life that she always knew was possible.
In candid, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious prose, the author allows us a front-row seat to three very different marriages and their eventual demises as she confronts the traumatic source of her many dysfunctions—while also learning to rejoice in her Femininity, and ultimately finding the capacity to truly Love...herself included.

The Goddess Guide to Divorce is one of those books you will either click with and devour in a couple of sittings or you will struggle to finish.
It's a well written insight in to divorce. The picking up the pieces, the starting over and rediscovering who you are.

At first, I struggled with this book, but as the writer revealed more of her story, I got used to her writing style and found myself immersed in what her life was like, how her past secret influenced her present and future, and how she was finally able to find her true self and happiness.
Evelyne Michaut lays bear her trials in life and her struggles with relationships. She tells her story with humor, honesty, and heartfelt warmth and recollections of events. Her story reveals what has held her back in her life and her intimate relationships and marriages. I grew to enjoy her writing style and the way she moved the reader through events. The Goddess Guide to Divorce is an honest and raw memoir that really touched me. At the end of the book, the author mentioned she is writing a fiction novel. I would love to read more of her work.
Really fascinating read! Thank you for sharing your story with us. It was enlightening, helpful, sad, joyous.
