What a fantastic book!
Perfect explanations as well as illustrations that explain how every day things work for example how a toilet flushes.
My daughter is too young to understand anything like this but without a doubt would purchase this when she is older.

This book is fascinating! The explanations of how different machines work are really clear and accessible. The author doesn't shy away from explaining complex machines but makes them easy to understand. I particularly enjoyed the bit about barcodes!

Wow this book is brilliant, from a simple stapler to an air conditioning unit, this book explains it all, perfect for those curious little minds who are are always asking, 'why?'

I will definitely be getting a copy of this so I can sit down with my son next time she asks me how something works!
