With grateful thanks to netgalley Caroline Roberts for an early copy in return for an honest opinion.
I have read all of Caroline's books and just adore them, I was so excited to read this new one firstly I loved the cover, its just so beautiful and campervans can only mean one thing fun. And there sure is oodles of fun and frolicking in this outstandingly fabulous tale. Jack is the very proud owner of the seaside cocktail campervan, its his pride and joy and he has such a cute name for her, I'll let you find out yourselves. Jack decided that he was fed up doing the normal 9 to 5 job so decides to do up this campervan and goes round to weddings birthday partys Where ever he is asked to go to with his cocktails usually there might be a couple of other vans doing food for the partys this is where he meets up with luscious Lucy she makes fabulous homemade pizza, and this tale entertwines there rather bizarre behaviour at times but it's what has happened in the past, will these two lost souls heal each other. this is such a beautiful journey wedding's in castles fabulous chocolates from a gorgeous chocolate shops and a barn dance with lots of puddings this book has the lot. a very big fat 5⭐

THIS BOOK! I absolutely loved reading this book and read most of it in one sitting. I loved the storyline and how it romanticised living by the coast in a pretty little cottage. This book really made me want to drop everything and open a cutesy cocktail camper van or horse box pizzeria. The love was a slow journey with bumps in the road but I really enjoyed reading it. Only sad part is I want more! I want to know what happens after the ending and continue to hear about their new relationship and business ventures. Overall was a great reading id highly recommend!

What a beautifully written uplifting story, which is told from Jack and Lucy's point of view.Jack runs a cocktail bar from his campervan called Ruby and Lucy serves pizzas from her custom rigged trailer. They both attend a couple of the same events & Lucy sees Jack being flirty with the guests, so when he offers her his help, she is left wondering if it's a wise move. The story is set in the most beautiful part of the world( in my opinion) Northumberland, so having visited these places myself, it made this story come to life more for me.

Just the most gorgeous book, really summery, romantic and heartwarming. I am a sucker for a happy ending and this story, set around street food and a summer of events is to.d from both the male and female perspectives and this gives an insight that would have otherwise been missed.

Loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed this lovely romantic tale, loved the characters and the storyline was brilliant, how both Lucy and Jack were both afraid to pursue their interest in each other, loved how they managed to get to know each other better through working at the same venues etc, Jack with his cocktails and camper van and Lucy with her pizzas and horsebox, brilliantly written and descriptive in setting the scene
Highly recommended

Caroline Roberts at her best. I loved all the cocktail descriptions.. Jack loved his camper van. Both Lucy and Jack had been hurt and it was fun how they met at the festivals . Lucy’s pizzas sounded yummy. It was brilliant she followed her dream. A real feel good book and the author told us that she wrote it during COVID. So she gets a gold star for not mentioning it. Also had a lovely ending.

The seaside cocktail campervan drew me in instantly as I love Caroline Roberts books and adore camper vans as have so many lovely memories of travelling in our camper-van, the whole lifestyle it evokes and the friendships made upon the way!
Jack with his newly renovated cocktail van the delightful beautiful Ruby is embarking on a new career venture after several torrid unsettled years following the loss of his beloved brother! He is starting to build a good business venture catering at many outdoor functions such as fetes, birthdays , weddings etc and it is during one of these events he meets Lucy and her mischievous dog daisy! Lucy is reeling from a relationship breakdown and has thrown herself into a pizza van venture inspired by her Italian grandfather!
Jack and Lucy help each other out and gradually a friendship ensues but they are both wary with previous baggage so the path of true love never runs smoothly!
A great entertaining , summery read would highly recommend!
Thank you netgalley for this early read.

Thanks to Harper Collins, One More Chapter and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.

I have read a lot of Caroline Roberts' books so was excited to be approved to read this one and it didn't disappoint.

Lucy has a mobile pizza van (horsebox) and Jack has a mobile cocktail campervan. They keep running in to each other at events they are catering - Lucy is just starting out and Jack is keen to help her establish her business. I have to say I wish I knew folk who gave parties where the catering was pizzas and cocktails!

A hugely enjoyable summer read.

With thanks to #Netgalley and #HarperCollinsUK for an ARC of #TheSeasideCoxktailCampervan by #CarolineRoberts.

Jack has given up the 9-5 rat race, and converted his much loved campervan into a mobile cocktail bar. Together they travel to various events, weddings, birthday parties and the like.
It’s at one of these events where Jack encounters Lucy, who has her own pizza business that she runs from her converted horsebox, along with her sidekick Daisy, who is a spirited sausage dog!
Jack and Lucy build a tentative friendship, that could go somewhere special, if they can both move on from the traumas in their respective pasts.

This is a wonderful summer read.
Jack and Lucy are both really likeable characters and Daisy is so well written. Anyone who knows a sausage dog, will relate to her antics.

The location descriptions in this story are fabulous, even the cover is cheerful and appealing.

This book is a real feel good read and a fresh take on a tale of romance.
Five enjoyable stars from me.

Amazing. I loved every minute of reading this book. Set so close to home for me, reading about places I have visited and know how amazingly beautiful they are was brilliant. The descriptions were spot on and really made me want to jump in the car and head to the beach.
The developing friendship of Jack and Lucy was lovely, very identifiable, both scared of being hurt again and each needing time to reflect on their feelings before being strong enough to be the first one to make a move. Seeing Jack open up and tell Lucy about his brother and his true feelings was lovely and allowed Lucy to finally fit all the pieces of her heart together and give it to him.

I loved the idea of the cocktail camper van and the pizza horse box. Seeing the story develop through random celebrations around food vans was uniquely wonderful. I could smell the pizzas and feel the fizz of the cocktails on my tongue they were described perfectly.

A perfect summer read, even better with a beach view and a cold drink.

Thanks to MetGalley and the publishers for allowing ,e to read an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review.

What a charming read this was. A delightful romance set in Northumbria, it is the story of Jack and Lucy, two relationship phobic people, damaged by the past.
Jack owns and operates The Seaside Cocktail Campervan business which he has built up over four years of hard work, travelling to events around the North East. Lucy has just started her pizza making business, taking her converted horse box from event to event. As they meet up at events their friendship grows, but the past comes back to haunt them both. Will they make it together? What of the warnings of friends? Is it true that Jack is a “player”, with a string of broken hearts and promises behind him? Given the way he flirts with female customers of his cocktail van, it certainly seems that way to Lucy. And what of Lucy, the Ice Queen, as Jack dubs her? Is she always so spiky and cold?

Caroline Roberts descriptions of the Northumbrian countryside make one want to visit. The settings come alive with every word. I particularly liked the prefacing of each event with an actual invitation to attend. It made the reader, well this one at least, feel like an honoured guest.
It was a delightful surprise to find recipes for some of Jacks drink concoctions and Lucy’s family pizza and cake recipes at the end of the book. I will most certainly lay be trying some of them!

This is the first book written by the author that I have read. It will certainly not be the last!

Thoroughly recommended to all lovers of romantic fiction.

I absolutely loved this book. I loved following Lucy's journey with her new Pizza van business. When she met jack and his cocktail van at a function it was lovely seeing how their romance grew with plenty trials and tribulations long the way made for a brilliant read.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I loved the cover of this book and Caroline’s books are always fabulous reads.

With a newly done up cocktail van, with a lovely name, Jack, is starting a new career, he’s had some years where he’s not been able to settle following a bereavement. He is beginning to see his venture grow by catering at different outdoor functions, like birthday and weddings etc. One of these functions, is where he meet Lucy and her cheeky dog.
Having recently come out of a bad relationship, Lucy, has put everything into her pizza venture, which she’s done, keeping her Italian grandfather in mind.
As they both are at the same functions, Jack and Lucy, help each other and slowly, a friendship starts. But with them both having a past, they’re cautious.

An enjoyable summery read.

Recommend It.

An absolute cracker of a book! I am a massive fan of all Caroline Roberts books and this one was every bit fabulous as always.
Her books make me feel warm and happy and wanting to travel down the east coast ( we often do) it’s such a beautiful part of the country and Caroline describes it perfectly.
The Seaside Cocktail Campervan tells the story of Lucy who’s been hurt in the past setting up her Horsebox Pizza Van and Jack who drives Ruby the cocktail camper an.
Right from the start they have an instant connection but Jack has good reason to want to avoid getting hurt.
Will they won’t they? This is the burning question throughout the book.
Special love for Lucy’s dog Daisy who is a very mischievous dachshund who is always causing trouble.
Take this trip down the East Coast and you definitely won’t be sorry,
Thank you HarperCollins UK and NetGalley for an ARC of this lovely book. Special thanks to Caroline for writing it, hoping there might be a sequel.

I loved this book from the start. Once started it’s really hard to put down as you just want to know if Jack and Lucy do eventually pair up or not. They have both experienced issues in their past and now have difficulties letting people in. They are both insecure about life, work, family but they have so much in common, you really hope they can become a couple. However life is not easy and doubt always gets in the way. Really enjoyed it and hope that there will be more stories about them both. It also helped that I knew all of the places they visited and have been to them all myself, a lovely touch if your from the North East

This was such an original and clever idea, I loved the different kind of plot following food trucks.
A proper sunshine filled, Summer read with cocktails, cake and parties. It gave a hint of the events we may have been missing over the last year and made me want to head straight out to a festival.
I loved how this was a bit unique, with the characters owning food trucks. Again Caroline Roberts has created a whole book full of characters that leave you with a happy glow.
I can't wait to see where Ruby the camper-van and the pizza horse box end up next, i'm crossing my fingers for a sequel.
Thanks to Netgalley, Caroline Roberts and Harper Collins for the copy.

I have read most of Caroline's books and jumped at the opportunity to read and review 'The Seaside Cocktail Campervan'.

I wasn't disappointed!

Lucy gave up a boring - but safe - office job to follow her dream and start her own business. Along the way she meets Jack and his Cocktail Campervan.

The attraction can't be denied but the two of them have suffered hurts in the past. Can they overcome them and find their way to happiness together?

Jack has turned a campervan into a cocktail business going to events. Lucy has turned a horsebox into a pizza van. They meet at an event and then keep bumping into each other. Love Caroline's books

When I saw this book, I thought, what a great idea for a business! That's what made me want to read it.
Jack owns a renovated VW Campervan, which he has turned into a mobile cocktail bar.
Lucy has quit her job, bought a horsebox and turned it into a mobile pizzeria.

When they meet at an event they're both catering for, sparks don't exactly fly.
They don't exactly get off to the best of starts and when Lucy discovers something about Jack's past their fate is sealed. Or is it?

Lucy has split up with ger boyfriend and to help mend her heart she sets up a mobile pizza business in a converted horse box. She mets Jack, who has set up a mobile cocktails bar in his campervan. On paper they seem the ideal match but things never do run smoothly. 8 enjoyed getting to know the characters and loved the area they worked in.

I really enjoyed this book. I was sold with just the word campervan in the title. It's a nice, easy read that makes it the perfect holiday/beach read.

The perfect mix of cocktails and pizzas with a group of great characters. This story is a brilliant summer read as we get to know more about Lucy and Jack, and of course Daisy and Ruby. A story of love, friendship and family, I loved the
sound of the book group at the cafe - such a wonderful group of people ready to share their love of reading and support one another.
With each chapter an event in the busy lives of Lucy and Jack, the book seemed to finish far too fast.

This book is described as an “uplifting, Cody, romantic summer read” and it is EXACTLY that! Absolutely loved it. I have never read any of Caroline Roberts’ other books so this was a first for me and I will say that I am hooked. The cosy vibe was perfect and the descriptions of the coast, dunes, and environment were perfect for someone who has never been to England. It made me want to pack up, order some pizza and cocktails and drive along any coast! This book had romance, friendship, and fun throughout. I really enjoyed it and it was a quick and easy read.

I love Caroline Robert’s stories so much, I know if I pick one up I am guaranteed happiness, that I will grin from ear to ear, yes there will be emotion, maybe some heartbreak and anxiety along the way, but I know I am guaranteed the most perfect escapism you can get. The Seaside Cocktail Campervan is no exception to this, amazing descriptions of Northumberland and the North East, cute relatable characters, this Agustin the perfect holiday read, regardless which holiday it is or where you are. Thoroughly recommended for happiness

I adored The Seaside Cocktail Campervan. Warm and relatable characters, beautiful accounts of scenery along the North East coast, mouth watering descriptions of gourmet pizzas and cocktails, not forgetting a cute dachshund make this a most enjoyable book. It’s a take if love, laughter and friendship that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the last page. A heartwarming read that is worthy of five stars. It is only in recent years that I have discovered Caroline Roberts and was thrilled to be able to read the latest from her. The cover itself is a delight and a great draw and just absolutely cheers your soul as does the story within.

Lucy lives in a cottage just near the sea with Daisy the Dachshund her faithful companion since she realises that her fiancé was never going to propose, well not to her anyway. Changing her life completely she finds herself starting a new adventure and venture with the Horse Box she has converted to a mobile Pizza van.

Jack has been driving his red Cocktail Campervan to local events, weddings, parties in Northumberland for the last couple of years. Whilst it is not what his parents thought he would end up doing, he has had made a success of it and he is kept busy. However Jack seems to be using all his energy into this venture and not giving himself any time for life and love.

Lucy and Jack’s paths cross at many events and the book is wonderfully divided into different events that we are also invited along to share the fun, the laughter, the wonderfully cocktails created and the delicious pizzas which simply make your mouth water.

Thanks to Daisy, Lucy does make rather an impact on Jack’s campervan and when they find themselves drawn together, despite some prior warnings and previous hurts it seems that the happy ending is clear for all to see. Of course true love does not always run smoothly and of course you need to be sure and both Lucy and Jack test this to the max.

Like the perfect pizza and cocktail you know when you have found your favourite and it made my heart sing the whole way through this story with Lucy and Jack. I wanted to dive right into the book, queue for the pizza and watch the cocktail being made and curl up in Lucy’s delightful cottage.

A book that will leave you simply smiling and with your heart full of joy – the best tonic to any cocktail!

I was instantly attracted to this book when I saw the intriguing cover and realised it was a new release from Caroline Roberts, an author whose books I have enjoyed previously. The cover is indeed cleverly drawn, and tells a lot about what is going on in the pages within. I sat down to read this book and was instantly drawn into the lives of the main characters; for me, it was finished all too soon.

The story revolves around Jack and Lucy, both of whom have set up their own catering businesses. Jack is serving delicious cocktails and other drinks from his converted red VW campervan, while Lucy, with her Italian roots, is serving equally delicious pizzas from her converted horse box. The businesses are based in the Northumberland coast, where Jack and Lucy take their respective vehicles to a range of events, from private birthday celebrations to festivals. They meet at one such event and continue to bump into each other as the summer of celebrations progresses. After a somewhat fiery start to their relationship, friendship grows, but they are determined not to get emotionally involved. Can romance find a way in anyway?

I thought this was a really entertaining story, filled with fun characters and situations. I loved the idea of the two food vans and my mouth was watering with the descriptions of the cocktails and pizzas. The book was cleverly written, each chapter introduced with an invitation to a particular event where the food vans are present. These events are in various lovely locations in the Northumberland coastal area. Both Jack and Lucy have pasts that are holding them back from starting a new relationship - a situation that has the reader feeling desperate for them to find a way forward. Just when you think that there may be a chance for romance, something always seems to get in the way. I must, of course, mention another important character in the story. This is an adorable little dachshund by the name of Daisy who travels with Lucy and gets up to some great antics. The book ends with recipes for some interesting sounding cocktails, cakes and pizza, which I shall be trying out. I can definitely recommend this easy to read book for a slice of escapism this summer.

Lucy has a mobile pizza van business and travels with her dog Daisy around the Northumberland coast attending local village celebrations. Jack is the owner of the cocktail camper van who Lucy meets at one of these celebrations. They try to keep their relationship strictly business to avoid making the same mistakes as the last. But, can they continue to keep to strictly business or will romance win and will their romance blossom whilst attending the different events.

I do love all of Caroline’s books so was super excited for this new one. I adored this from start to finish, devouring it all in one day.

As always, the characters are relatable, and I found myself rooting for them from the start. The story is told through Jack and Lucy’s points of view, which I like as we get to see what each are thinking/feeling. Jack is charming for sure, running the cocktail campervan; he’s got a bit of experience now and is successful at events. Lucy has newly converted a horse box into a pizzeria and is keen to make it a success. Between the pair of them I was constantly hungry and ready for a cocktail or two!
The relationship between Lucy and Jack is a difficult one at times; plenty of ups and downs, misunderstandings and sometimes sheer stubbornness that leads to problems. I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between the two develops over the course of the book.
With lots of celebrations and events, it was fun and enjoyable – a clear pick me up after recent times, I could imagine having fun at all of them. I loved the romance, the delicious descriptions of food and drink and the cast of characters.
I’d love to hear more from these characters in future – hopefully with highly successful businesses and even yummier sounding goodies!
Another brilliant book by this fantastic author, highly recommended for a light, lovely summer read.

Set in Northumberland, Lucy a mobile pizza maker and James a cocktail maker cross paths. Learning from mistakes in the past they keep things strictly on a business level. As summer progresses in this beautiful setting with Daisy the dog stealing our hearts, things develop. I liked the fact that the booked covered events and built the relationship around them. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Jack and his cocktail campervan go around different events and is also hired out for party's weddings and functions
Lucy is just starting her own venture with a horse box pizza oven. Her little dog daisy the dachshund goes with her to some of the functions.
Jack and Lucy's paths cross and hence a relationship is formed. Jack helps her buissnes by letting customers know she is for hire. It is a strange relationship between them of friendship trust and disappointment on occasions.
I found this story very good and did not want to put it down. It has been well written and the story line unique. The end leaves me thinking there could be more to come.
Well worth the read a good feel good story.

Read the book for the romance, buy it for the recipes!

I thought that The Seaside Cocktail Campervan was a very cute little romance. It held my attention. I loved all the party (and party food!) descriptions.

Rounding up to 5 stars for this quick, fun, summertime read.

I really was surprised to find so many recipes at the end of the book. And I loved the how the recipes were written.

Another cracking book from Caroline Roberts introducing new characters Jack and Lucy who run mobile cocktail and pizza businesses respectively.

There are bumps in the road for Jack and Lucy's potential relationship but the story unfolds really well with definite possibilities of further books to follow these two characters.

I read the book in a day - perfect summer reading that I highly recommend to all!

Another fantastic read, courtesy of One More Chapter and NetGalley!
Honestly, what did I think of it ?- read on to see . . . .

Starting afresh is tough for everyone
Especially when relationships have broken or loved ones gone
But with support of family, friends and others
It can be amazing what it uncovers!

Jack has Ruby, a camper van
And thrives on chances to be the cocktail man.
He likes to act as a cheerful barman
Serving delicious drinks as best he can.

Lucy has her converted horse box - complete with oven
Where she bakes tasty pizzas by the dozen.
‘All Fired Up’ is her business’s name
Which she’s hoping will bring her joy and fame,

At different events these two keep meeting
But they don’t always seem to give a welcoming greeting.
Attracted to each other but both have history
Will they share their pasts to remove the mystery?

There is laughter and joy as the story unfolds
Especially when Daisy the dachshund is being bold.
It is the story of friendships, family and romance
And being brave enough to give love a chance.

So if you’re in need of summer parties, festivals and fun
Travel with Lucy and Jack and see how its done.
