I find the illustrations wonderful and I love how each book has its own message to share through the story of the specific icon. They are a great way to introduce children to the amazing people of past and present who have made a big impact on the world. I have to say, this edition is definitely my favourite so far out of the collection. I look forward to seeing who else will star in this wonderful series of biographies. I received an a proof copy of this e-book to read and reviews
Amelia Earhart has is such an inspiration for young girls, and this book is perfect for children to learn about her.
I love stories about strong, smart and powerful people, especially women, to read to my growing daughters. I think this story is done perfectly to introduce them to Amelia Earhart and plant a seed now that they can do ANYTHING in the future!
I’ve always loved stories about Amelia Earhart! This is the perfect short book to introduce her to children so they can see how cool she really was too. The illustrations are cute and the pages are short chunks to make it easier for younger children to read.
Another brilliant book by Inspired Inner Genius! . Simply written and factual, There is not too much information per page along with beautiful illustrations, this book will engage and inspire. I love how Amelia Earhart was an independent and accomplished woman making her a great female role model and this an inspirational story. The fact page at the end with a photo of Amelia Earhart is a great addition. I loved this and can’t wait for more from this series of books.
I have always been curious about Amelia Earhart. But I never got to know about her much. This book is beautiful. The colorful illustrations will surely catch a kid's eye and the language is easy to read. The book is a short read, ideal for kidss. Perfect for young kids. When I was a kid, I also loved these kind of colorful books with valuable stories and lessons inside. I'm sure kids now will love this too.
I read this book with my 7 year old and 3 year old and we loved it! It told Amelia Earhart's story in a way that was motivational and inspiring, and also kept the attention of both of my kids. This book was wonderful, and we've enjoyed this whole series so far! I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
This is a beautiful, well written book, and it's very important for all children to read stories as inspiring as this. Given that female protagonists of a lot of children's literature are usually relegated to roles of Being providers and not doers, in a sense, Amelia Earhart is a great role model. It's particularly good for girls, from a young age , to know what equal marriages look like, and that it doesn't mean one has to give up on ones dreams, or identity. Highly recommended, and I would recommend for even very small children- it's never too early to teach the right ideas.
