Power Crystals For Beginners

I've been a very avid crystal worker for years now and there is just something about intro books that draws me in. I always want to hear a new voice tell about their experience and David Smith did not disappoint in this book. This book gives you an awesome overview into the history of crystals, why we use them, why we are drawn to them and so so SO much more. I learned new things in this text and found out new properties I wasn't aware that I needed to know. I also love that he included the vibration level with them so you could understand more deeply how a crystal reacts to you.

This is also one of the first crystal books I have read that truly distinguishes color groups in detail and allows you to see the benefits from each without being overwhelmed with too much information.

As a beginner to using crystals, this book is the perfect guide for those who are starting their journey out, or even just wanting to be more educated on the topic! Not only does this book give a historical background and cultural significance of certain crystals, but great advice and information on choosing a crystal, cleansing, storing, etc. along with many other aspects to use the power of crystals to the fullest! I highly recommend this book and even want to purchase the paperback copy to take handwritten notes!

I wanted to read an introduction book to crystals, so when I saw this on NetGalley I was excited to request it. The book is written clearly in an easy to understand language. The author gives the reader a history of crystals, how to use them in meditation, rituals, etc, how to cleanse them, and what their strengths are. My only complaint is the lack of pictures in the book. I do wish that more photos of some of the more common and often used crystals were included especially because it is geared to beginners like myself.

This short book about crystals is full of great information for beginners on using crystals in the craft. There is great information about shapes of crystals and their meanings/uses, using crystals for manifesting, charging and cleaning crystals, amplifying power with crystals, and how to use a crystals in a grid and why. The one thing that was missing from this book, and it's kind of a big deal, is pictures to help identify crystals. The book wasn't advertised as being that sort of book but it would have made this a 5 star reference. Still I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about how to work with crystals.

This was a surprisingly well-researched book. I expected it to be the typical introductory book on crystals, with the basics of what, how, when, and correspondences. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find information about vibration levels, cultural significance, history behind uses, and lots more. There's some great tips and tricks in here, and just So Much information. This book is accessible to all levels of crystal practice, and will help elevate that craft.
