Description

In Two Minds, a kind of memoir is the extraordinary and vivid true-life tale of one man’s battle to live in our cruel and evil world.

Peter Moroney is 60, lives in Drogheda, Ireland and wrote his story to expunge it from his head and get some peace. It is a fascinating, deeply honest and compelling tale of life in Ireland and London.

The big question is how and why Peter cheated death and survived many threathening situations and events. In Two Minds, a kind of memoir has lessons to share with every adult.

This memoir is an inspirational tale of love and hate, joy and sadness, friends and betrayal, incredible battles and suffering as well as a family fighting to stay together.

The memoir will shock and astound you. Certain tales will make you smile, and different parts of his life will make you cry. It will hold your attention to the very end.

Peter’s story is an emotional, easy to read tale of life, triumphs and challenges. He writes openly about his mental health battles and the tragic loss of his son Simon. It is an exciting, interesting and educational tale that sucks the reader into Peter’s life.

 Review from Margaret Dunne.-.

In two minds is a fantastic read. Very real and honest I found it difficult to put down once I started. I laughed and cried and felt his heart ache and his frustrations. Peter endured so much in his life and I thank him for sharing his story. I’m sure sharing his story will help many who live with depression or dealing with abuse and our legal system

PS. An honest account of living with depression and surviving suicide bereavement. For those like me, lucky not to have much experience with the illness it is an insight into the struggles of depression and suicide. For others it may give hope for survival. I would highly recommend this read. Well done

Just finished reading In Two Minds... Absolutely fantastic book, well written, insightful and honest. I would highly recommend giving it a read. Well done

Another brilliant review I noticed on Amazon.co.uk:- 5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating!

Peter Moroney is not only an inspiring speaker but also an excellent writer! His book includes the best analysis ever regarding depression and suicide, something that everybody must read and know about. It can save the lives of our beloved ones or even ourselves. It is a book with so much suspense that it was impossible to drop it from my hands unless i had finished it. Peter Moroney gives also a picture of the social, economical and cultural life in Drogheda during 60's and 70's which is so vivid that for us who haven't lived in Drogheda those years is a mental journey full of pictures and atmosphere. It is romantic and even funny at moments despite the tragedy. It is true, it is honest, it is sad and gut-wrenching. It is everything!!!! It kept my interest triggered from the start to the end! Don't miss i

New review 12th February. I am not sure who it is from but I am delighted they sent it in.

A very raw and compelling account of the life of one family man. A life filled with abuse, depression, suicide & bereavement. A wonderfully written insight in to the world of depression and suicide, my eyes have been opened to this illness. This is a book of strength, survival and hope. I found myself willing Peter on as I turned the pages. A must read, I couldn't put it down.

Peter Moroney is true survivor and an inspiration to all.

This book had me rooting for Peter from the start. Sensitivity was used while discussing mental health. This memoir is an inspirational tale of love and hate, joy and sadness, friends and betrayal, incredible battles and suffering as well as a family fighting to stay together. It both made me laugh in places and shed a tear in others. Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
