This is another brilliant addition to this series – even as an adult I look out for the next book in the series being released!

I love the images in this series and this is a delightful introduction to Steve Jobs – a person who I find interesting as an adult – he was so determined to succeed and his innovations and ideas really had such an impact and helped change the world of technology.

This series is an excellent introduction to some of the well-known, and less well-known people that have had a great impact in our lives through a variety of areas.

I love the variety of people chosen and the mix of backgrounds that they have too and that there is an equal mix of genders and ethnic backgrounds too – literally everyone can be embraced by this series

It is 5 stars from me for this one – a delightful read and one I will be very highly recommending!

Thank you Netgalley and Frances Lincoln Children's Books for approving my request.

I had read a few titles of this series and came to love them. It's always motivating and suits best to raise confidence in children and even adults.

When you read them, it makes you realise that those people who make a change in this world, also started from small and often have a lot of disadvantages in their lives.

Despite that, they don't give up. They use it as a stepping stone to achieving something bigger. They believe in their ability and capability, continuously pursuit their curiosity and doesn't surrender to their drawback. That, I believe, is worth so much respect. 👏🏻

I love this series of books!
Each one, although aimed at children in its simplicity, actually teaches me as an adult, so much as I enjoy reading them.
Now of course I have heard of Apple, but I had no idea who was behind the brand and didn't have a clue who Steve Jobs was!

I absolutely adore the Little People, Big Dreams series and this book, focusing on Steve Jobs did not disappoint. Filled with glorious illustrations, these texts are a fabulous springboard for classroom discussion. I love how they cover such a broad range of famous faces, from scientists to musicians.

Unusually for me, I had not read the main series book on Steve Jobs and so had nothing to compare this ‘baby edition’ to. I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and felt that the content had been presented in a way perfect for its younger intended audience. The illustrations are eye-catching, brightly-coloured and would certainly help to enrich a child’s understanding of the story.

We will be adding this book to our bookshelf for Nursery and Reception children to access, but it would be equally helpful even for older readers. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

I always enjoy the Little People, Big Dreams books. This one is about Steve Jobs, who created the big tech giant Apple. I enjoyed reading about his life as a child and how he grew up to be successful and help so many people with technology.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Apple logo is like nectar to the gods for my children. Right up there in popularity with the Golden Arches! Yet, they could tell me very little about Steve Jobs and the origin of the Apple firm. They took to their beds with excitement for this story, full of facts about the hero with the vision to bring tech to our homes, with lots of bright illustrations and easy to read sentences. This one is for early readers with short, simple sentences, or suitable to be read to babies and young children. Another hit Little People, Big Dreams book. It gets a yes from my little people.

My 6yo loved this. She's a bit obsessed with her ipad and she has 2 parents who work in IT so she was excited to learn about Steve Jobs. The way that this was put so that she understood it (on the whole) and those bits that she didn't were easy to explain and not the sort of thing that you'd expect to be explained in more detail (ie what does adopted mean). I think that these books are amazing for teaching children about different people and showing them that if you follow your dreams and tackle with passion then you can achieve anything.
