Every element in the book is handcrafted using modeling clay, so kids and those young at heart can make them too!
The book includes different projects in 2 levels of difficulty—beginner and advanced—so it's suitable for both younger and older children. Offers countless hours of entertainment to reduce screen time and allow your kids to develop their cognitive and motor skills through crafting with clay.
Our guidebook makes crafting so much fun for the whole family! Kids who can read can work independently, while younger ones can enjoy the activity with their parents. Invite your little one's friends over for a playdate and let them sculpt clay together!

Close your eyes and ready your hands, 'cause we're about to hop aboard:

The Picturesque Place

Every pirate needs a treasure map! Close your eyes and picture your island. What does it look like? Draw out a map and write the name of your island. What would you call the island? Does it look like a picturesque tropical paradise or a deserted, spooky island with abandoned ships? Let your imagination run wild and build an island where your characters can find awesome treasures!

The Fearsome (or Friendly!) Characters

Imagine your characters. What do they look like and what personality do they have? Create funny-looking pirates, snoring sailors, bold buccaneers, enchanting mermaids, wild animals, and other characters that will make up your own pirate story! Follow the steps in creating the cute clay figures in the book to bring your characters to life. They don't have to look exactly like the ones in the book. Decide on what names to give your characters and make them heroes (or villains) of your adventure to come up with the ending you'd like!

The Thrill-Filled Story

Once upon a time, a spectacular story was born out of a child's imaginative mind! Whether there's a sunken treasure in the sea that needs to be retrieved, an unexplained mystery to solve, or a treasure hunt that has to ensue—with Pirate Island, there's no imagining how the story will unfold! Add some thrill, suspense, action, comedy, or even romance to your story to make it more exciting. Finally, uncover the greatest mystery of why pirates wear an eyepatch. The possibilities are endless because in Pirate Island, anything's possible!
