Candle Making Business

I’ve read other books from these authors and they give solid advice to get yourself started and off the ground. If you’re looking to start your own business as a chandler, this is a great resource to get and read.

I requested this book because I was just curious, but after I started reading, I was intrigued. The book was so well written that I was actually inspired to get into the business.

This is great! I've been wanting to make candles for years and this laid out the business aspect perfectly. I can't wait to utilize this information in my new candle business.

Man, oh, man.

This is a goldmine of invaluable information. If you’ve EVER been interested in a small business or just make candles in general, you NEED this step-by-step guide to it ALL.

And I mean all.

This guide explains about different types of candles, waxes, how to customize them, how to package them. How to price them. The best places to sell them. I mean, SO MUCH INFO.

A fantastic little book with plenty of useful tips and hints for how to grow a candle business. Some of it is common sense but it is good to see it written down. Broken up by chapters this step by step guide to creating a candle business is informative and easy to follow. Sadly, because it means that everyone will start doing it and I don't want even more competition for the little (but now hopefully growing) business I have. Great if you're a complete novice or just as a gentle push in the direction for those who have already started. My main issues - I didn't learn a lot and it was a lot of the basics and there were absolutely no pictures throughout this which made it a bit dull.

There are so many tips in this little book that'll be really helpful. I bought candle making materials at the beginning of the year and used them just once. I can't wait to follow all these tips and make better candles.

This book is not only informative, but it is also inspiring! It covers candle making, sure, but also how to start an online business and keep it going. As someone who has tried (and failed) at making a e-commerce business, I have finished the book with a whole new zest for it. Tips and tricks for anyone looking to sell handmade products, or learn how to make a candle. Only downside for me is that it does require a sit down and read the whole thing before starting, but I see why in the end.

I think this book is great for giving you ideas on how to start your own business. In Chapter 1, the author gives you a list of all the ingredients you will need and where to get them. The author also gives good information on how to customize the candles and make them your own, the different types of waxes available, good marketing techniques, and how to-s for pricing, I found that this book had a lot of really great information and I recommend it for anyone that is looking to start their own business for primary or secondary income.

This is a book that has got me making A LOT of candles!! I had no idea how easy it could be to make candles...and make money from them. This book is the ultimate handhold to guide us through the process - from making that all important first candle to the steps and invaluable guidance involved in turning this into a profitable business.

Being a Brit I would have quite liked the 'recipes' to have been in metric units to ease accessibility, but this isn't essential and easily worked around.

I loved the business side of this book also, and find myself very motivated to source the 'Etsy' selling book that this author has also written!

I like books that teach you something and are not just filled with useless fluff. Candle Making Business by Alyssa Garner is one of those books. She thought of everything too, from making your first candle to how to run the business of selling them.

I liked the way the author started out with a basic candle, then moved onto more advanced ways to make them. The business part of the book was wonderful, because she taught you step by step how to make the business legal and how to market it. Not only did she tell you all this, but she included links to places online where you can purchase your materials needed, There are many places to sell your items, and the author offers her opinions on the best places to get started.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crafting and wants to learn something new, or anyone who would like to start their own business with candles.

This is incredibly detailed and well thought out. Whether or not I’ll try to make a candle business is up to me, but I certainly have all the tools.

Whether as a hobby or a profession, this book is very informative with step by step instructions and tips to help you customize and experiment. The possibilities are endless. Very fun!

I am not really interested in a candle business but hey who knows! I was looking to make my own candles. Candle Making Business is a how-to guide to making candles and potentially building up to launching your own candle making business. This book has a wealth of information, tips, and ideas and is a great guide to get you started. I want to get a physical copy of this book to go back to as I'd love to give many of the ideas for making candles in this book a go. I've not made candles in about ten years, maybe a little longer, and the recipes in this book sound fab and easy to do, too. The only downfall for me is that it's not in metric units that I'd have preferred or had an easy conversion chart to access in the book.
