Five people being stalked have become a their own WhatsApp support group. Always in contact with each other, panic sets in when one member goes silent. Then the worst news arrives, another life claimed by a stalker.

Meeting up at Nat’s funeral, the remaining four receive what they perceive to be a death threat, to take place in ten days time. But who is the threat for, one or all of them? As the countdown to the dreaded day commences, the group decide that enough is enough, and they up their vigilance and take matters into their own hands.

Oh my goodness, what a book! At times I had to remind myself to breathe, it was so tense. Who to believe, why was it happening, all the terrors!

From the first page I was absorbed into the lives of the stalked. Not a chapter wasted, skilful writing and the suspense was too perfect. Even the title is spot on!

One of the best thrillers I have read, chilling and terrifying. Yes, it could happen to you!

C L Taylor really is a bestseller for a reason. Worth far more than 5* for this one alone!

Thank you NetGalley and Avon Books UK.

I really enjoyed this book.
It has great twists I didn't see coming. Once I started this. I couldn't put it down

I love this author and was not disappointed by the latest book from them. This time we are introduce to a group of people brought together because they are victims of stalkers and their fear has brought them together. After the brutal murder of one of their group they are delivered a wreath suggesting they are next. It’s a race against time to bring their stalkers out in the open but is everyone being honest and is the danger closer than they think. I loved this edge of your seat thriller which is not to be missed.

A chilling thriller that looks at a group of people being stalked, who come together to try to help each other. Can they stop one of them being killed? Loved this book, it was so creepy and addictive, definitely recommend!

Four strangers brought together, members of a victims of stalking support group. They've become a close support network, all subject to similar threats and fears.

At the funeral of their friend, Nat, who was killed by her stalker, the four are presented with a wreath, the message on the card threatening another death in ten days time.

Wow! This starts with a bang and doesn't slow down. The threat and tension is high and keeps on rising.

With four possible targets there's a lot of variety, four very well developed main characters. They each have their plots, backstories, lives, relationships and stalkers, including ex-partners and anonymous strangers.

This is a propulsive, compulsive read. The one-more-chapter-factor is huge as it switches between the four main characters.

The kind of book you have to race through but don't want to miss a single detail. I did plenty of flicking back to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

The plot is involved and intricate, the character writing empathetic, the pace fast and the atmosphere tense, obsessive and full of paranoia.

A masterpiece of a stalker / survivor psychological thriller.

Definitely recommended, read it as soon as you can!

River, Bridget Alex and Lucy have come together for the funeral of their friend Nat. The thing that you united them was the fact that they are all victims of stalkers. Nats life was ended by hers.

Now the group have been sent a warning. In ten days time the same thing is going to happen to one of them. The four are now living in terror. Should they run and hide or should they track down the people who are terrorising them.

The book gives a good insight into the world of stalking and the effects on its victims.

Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to see an ARC.

A brilliant concept which I found both outrageous and disturbing. It's a thriller based upon what happens when victims of stalkers come together in a Whats App group and try to support each other. I liked how everyone has their secrets and nothing is what it first seems. It all makes for a suspenseful, riveting read and a poignant authors's note at the end.
Highly recommended.

📖 BOOK REVIEW 📖
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

#EveryMoveYouMake by @cltaylorauthor @avonbooksuk

➡️synopsis

This was a really interesting but also quite a disturbing and uncomfortable read. Just thinking about stalking gives me a serious case of heebie-jeebies.

As a fictional piece this is an excellent who done it mystery; mistrust is rife, characters a likeable enough for you to relate to themt but kept distant enough for the trust issues to fester.

I loved the multiple point of view narration and how the clues were given at just the right time to be effective. I was constantly changing my mind about who I thought was guilty.

There was a point where there were so many twists and turns that it became hard to keep focus on who and what and occasionally edged towards the unbelievable but mostly it was fast paced, suspenseful and an enjoyable read.

With thanks to author #cltaylor #avonbooks and @netgalley for allowing us to read this one early!

In this latest book Ms Taylor takes us into the world of stalkers, and what a journey!

A small group of Londoners, Lucy, River, Bridget and Alex find themselves at a mutual friend's funeral who was the victim pf a stalker. The book then gives an insight into this terrifying world as each of them has their own stalker. Intimate details, of how these awful stalking people control, intimidate and indeed terrorise their victims, are set out from each of the group's individual perspective..

Ms Taylor leaves no stone unturned in her views on stalkers and each story, for instance Lucy's, is brilliant and yet, sad.

Social media is, seemingly, one easy way to stalk people and I wonder how this can be controlled?

An exciting end to the book which I devoured in two days. I really enjoyed it and certainly learned a lot!

Thanks to Net Galley and Avon Books UK for the chance to read and review.

Hooked from the very start of this book.
Its about victims / survivors of stalking. The description of how they're made to feel made me feel nervous & on edge. It chilled me.
All of the way through I thought the author had done thorough research, I was shocked to see she had been a victim of stalking herself. The way she transferred some of the things that happened to her, to the characters was interesting.
I like it how the important subject of stalking wasn't lost in an unbelievable fictional story - well written, so it was believable and made me think of victims of stalking, and how horrendous it must be.
All in all, a good, chilling read.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy.

I was given this book by NetGalley for an honest review-
The terror is real. Women find themselves being stalked. When Natalie is murdered after her stalker was released from jail— the fear heightens it could happen to any of them. They decide to form a group and quit being victims and become the stalker— can they do this? Can they stop them?

I really liked this book. As a thriller lover this one had me guessing. It was a very interesting concept of the five people brought together as victims of stalking. It was just scary and suspenseful enough and you felt the emotions of the characters. It was terrifying to see the author's note at the end.
C.L. Taylor is a brilliant author and you can tell time and love are put into the stories. Bravo! Another excellent book!

Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.

I am a huge fan of CL Taylor, and was delighted to be approved for the ARC. Thank you Netgalley and the publishers.

Every Move You Make is everything you want in a novel. It has strong characters, stalkers, red herrings and a race to get to the end to find out who it was.

Four strangers come together on whatsapp to with one common theme. They all have a stalker. The plot weaves through how they all try to deal with their stalkers; but are they all who they say they are. As this is a CL Taylor novel you know that someone is not telling the truth and I played the guessing game all the way through. Did I get it right? On one of my guesses I did but I did go through all of them.

Parts of this novel are terrifying and difficult to read. Including the authors note at the end where she explains her own stalking experience. But its this feeling of unease that grabs you early, and you are constantly looking over their shoulder thinking: “he’s behind your”. When I got to the end I was just relieved that it was over and they characters could hopefully move on with their life.

Wow, this some gripping story. Fast paced, really great characters and a modern, believable story. There is a lot happening but the way it’s presented means it’s easy to keep on track. It’s just one of those books that you can’t put down as the pace increases towards the finale. This is an excellent work by a brilliant writer.

Cally Taylor you are a superstar and an incredible writer. I just love your books and know when I settle down to read one of your stories I’m in for a rollercoaster and a treat. Every Move You Make is no exception and without giving anything away about the plot, I just loved the tension and suspense the book created. I’m greedy, but can’t wait to read more from this very talented author.

Natalie, River, Alexandra, Lucy and Bridget are a group of unlikely friends. The reason they are friends is because they are all members of a group, a group of people who are being stalked.

As the story unfolds, we learn about these five friends and also about their stalkers. The group decide they need to put a stop to this, after one of their stalkers says one of them will die and they have a few days to try and stop this.

Goodness, this story was such a difficult one to read. My heart went out to these characters, the story was so intense and at times, scary.

My heart was in my mouth often, and when it wasn’t, my heart felt like it was beating out of control. This was due to the fear for the characters, thanks to the author’s fantastic storytelling.

This book made me stop and think about people who are going through this, right now. The author includes horrendous figures after the story, the amount of people who are victim to stalking is shocking.

If there is one book that I feel people should read this year, it’s this one. An outstanding story, which unfortunately happens to many.

My thanks to Avon Books UK and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Powerful and brave!

By the time you’ve finished this book you will totally agree – especially after reading the Author’s note.

C L Taylor is by far my favourite modern author – you easily fall in to the rhythm of her writing and have compassion for her characters.

This book, for me, is by far the boldest and powerful of stories written so far by this wonderful author. It’s based around people being stalked and keeps the subject on the serious side and realistic without making the writing mega-dramatic.

It follows four main characters, who are well written and very relatable. Each one being stalked and basically living a life of hell, living on tenterhooks and scared in every move they make in life. They make a WhatsApp Group to keep in touch and try to help one another. There are quite a lot of characters, which could have easily got a bit complicated, but didn’t – they were well defined, and the writer made them easy to identify and remember. The story is a fast-paced page-turner, with lots of action, twists and turns.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for the opportunity to read this ARC in return of an unbiased, honest review.

A proper edge-of-your-seat page turner. Easy to read, in fact I raced through this novel which is focused on victims of stalking.

When Natalie is killed by her stalker whilst walking home from work, other members of her support group, who are also being stalked, decide that enough is enough. At her funeral, they are presented with a wreath which tells them one of them will die in 9 days. They decide to take matters into their own hands and place trackers on their stalkers so that they can take back control. But of course, the best laid plans are fraught with danger, and that is exactly the position they all find themselves in.

This was real heart poundingly, jump scaringly good. You couldnt stop turning the pages to find out more.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. If you like a pacey thriller, this one has your name on it.

I've read and enjoyed a number of this author's books, and this was no exception. Peopled with believable characters who, experiencing stalking, have joined together to support each other and try and put an end to their nightmare, it's a real page turner but I must admit I wasn't completely convinced by the ending, however, I really enjoyed getting there and stayed up way too late to find out what happened and how the relationships played out.
I was shocked, but not surprised, to discover the author had been a victim of coercive behaviour and stalking herself. I imagine this was how she was able to describe the feelings of anger and helplessness, reluctance to go to the police and the yearning for a "normal" life that the characters all express.
Bravo Ms Taylor, and all those other brave people who are trying to shine a light on these crimes and make others sit up and listen and help end the horrifying loss of lives.
Thank you to netgalley and Avon Books for an advance copy of this book.

A gripping and original thriller. Told from various characters who are all victims of stalkers both past and present. They look out for one another and work out who is continuing to put their lives at risk.

WOW Every Move You Make (kindle edition) an exciting psychological thriller by C.L. Taylor chilled me to the bones.

Alexandra, Bridget, Lucy, Natalie and River join a WhatsApp group as they are each being harassed by stalkers and become friends who support each other no matter what is ahead of them.

One of the group has been found murdered by their stalker who has recently been released from prison.

They receive a threatening message which states that one of them will die in ten day' time and they all decide that they no longer want to be prey but to become the hunter.

The countdown has begun and their lives are in danger, their hearts are in their mouths every time they venture out and are always looking over their shoulder.

There are really good twists in this chilling thriller and C.L. Taylor has captured every emotion, blood, sweat and tears and what a finale.

Stalking is happening in reality as we are reading this story so sad.

When you start a book by C.L. Taylor you know that you are in for a brilliant read and Every Move You Make didn't disappoint. Five people that are being stalked set up their own WhatsApp support group to help one another. This book really shows how terrifying it must be to be a victim and to think that the author has been stalked herself she knows how bad it affects the victim. A highly recommended book.

Do you know that feeling when you sit back, look towards the ceiling in contemplation and feel completely satisfied? That’s how I felt after finishing every move you make. There is so much to say about this one, but I want to make it completely clear: There is nothing lacking in this one. Every loose thread (even ones I didn’t notice before they were picked up again) was tied up neatly, and that’s an achievement.

The plot was also made for suspense. Stalked characters who takes matters into their own hands, was a perfect way to ensure an engaging read. There were four main characters, which I also loved because there was a lot going on and many possibilities, and I kept wondering who was telling the truth, and what would happen next.

Without spoiling anything, I can say that the book was clever, the characters were interesting and the ending was amazing. The twist came as a surprise, and made perfect sense. Everything was explained and there was a really touching scene at the end. What I also loved was the breathing space between new revelations. Your pulse and mind got the pause it needed before something new happening. And be assured, a lot happens in the book.

I also have to mention that the author included a note about her own experience with stalking at the end, and it was obvious that this was a theme important to her. She treated stalking with understanding and respect, and the complexities came through without necessarily moralizing.

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for the arc.

Book Review – Every Move you Make by C.L Taylor
4.5/5 *
I, still, to this day remember the very first book I read from C.L Taylor (The Escape) and ever since then, they have become my go to author for any sort of thriller/suspense novel.

Every Move You Make is just like every other book from Taylor. It is difficult to explain without it sounding awful but I will try. Firstly, they're easy. Like you can pick it up in the middle of the afternoon and have it done by the evening king of easy. But that is not to say how easy they are to figure the plot out. That has yet to happen, for me.

There is so much description and intensity throughout the book that you are not left bored, but in fact drawn in and waiting for this plot twist. It keeps you hooked but in such a way where you can easily read it without it being overdone. That makes sense right? The very last thing I want when reading it trying to obtain obscene amounts of information that it becomes to much to enjoy, that’s my pet peeve, But Taylor just isn't capable of that,

You’re on the edge of your seat. You’re fighting your brain trying to figure it out. You’re cursing yourself for getting it so wrong but at the same time your just completely and utter lost in the book, its easy. Those are my favourite.

I like to dabble in all sorts of genres but when it comes down to it, I will pick up a thriller/suspense over everything else and when this gets released in March (yes, I already have it preordered) it will sit on my shelf with the other 2000 (slight exaggeration) books I have of Taylors.

If you just want to lose yourself in a book then I will always recommend Taylor for that. The books speak for themselves.

A Huge thank you to NetGalley and the publishing team for allowing me to read this ARC. This review is from my own, honest opinion.

This is a scarily realistic tale of how easy it can be for someone to isolate you from your friends and family and push you to the limits. Its alos a great demonstration of the lengths desperate people will go to.

This is a story of people who are being stalked who join a support group. They re all scared, it's impacting their daily lives and they don't feel that they can get help. Whilst it's fiction it's scarily close to the truth you hear from many people who ve been in that situation and the brutal honesty and rawness the characters experience make the book both brilliant and motivational.

I was so sure I'd worked out who would die and how. I wasn't completely right but this was a book when I wanted the girls and River to make it to the end and be stronger for it.

#EveryMoveYou Make #NetGalley I love C L Taylor as an author. She manages to make each book unique. The storyline for this book was quite different to others and was a great (if that is the right word!) read. Plenty of action and drama that made me catch my breath on occasions and really brought home to me how terrifying a stalker would be. An ending I didn't see coming kept me turning the pages late into the night. The notes from the author explaining how she had once been the subject of a stalker made the book even more intense. A great read and a well deserved 5 stars

Wow I finished this in a day! Really gripping I’d highly recommend it.

A group of people set up a support group for victims of stalking. When one of them is murdered they’re all shocked and meet for the first time in person at her funeral. But an unwelcome gift puts them all in danger. Someone is going to die soon, but which one of them will it be? And is it their stalkers or someone more dangerous.

This complex and frightening account of stalking will be all too real to those who have suffered from such an invasive crime. One stalker in a story would be bad enough but in this book there are multiple instances. Exploring the horrific depths these warped people go to while professing their love to their victims makes for a frightening and creepy story. River, Alex, Lucy, Bridget and Natalie all live in London and each has a stalker. When one of them is murdered the remaining members of their small group attend the funeral. There, they are presented with a wreath that implies one of them will also die in just ten days. They each suspect their own stalker and as the days pass, the fear escalates, difficult decisions are made and they realise the danger is very real. The culmination of the book is evil and shocking as the truth fully emerges. Another brilliant book from Cally Taylor that certainly seemed to understand the extremes that stalkers will go to. I was therefore sad and dismayed to read her author’s note at the end of the book.

I have read all of CL Taylor's books and I'm a huge fan. I've been waiting to read this for ages and it lived up to all my expectations. It's based around a whatsapp group of stalker survivors who decide to take matters into their own hands. Once you get your head around whose stalker is whose it gets a lot easier. Not all the characters are likeable, some grown on you and this is what keeps you interested.the scenarios in the story are Intense and quite frightening and it really makes the author note at the end more emotional.
What a book!

I really wanted to love this book but although I enjoyed it I didn’t love it, but that’s down to me rather than the author. There are a lot of characters , which meant I didn’t really think I got to know them in a depth so it meant although I found the subject of stalking terrifying I didn’t care about what was happening to the characters as much as I would have liked. Although the plot and pace meant this book made for a quick read and I can see why there are so many five star reviews

4.75⭐️

Five strangers meet in an online forum for people who have been stalked. The idea of having a support group with several individuals added more layers to the stalker trope.

This is anxiety and tension filled straight out of the gates as the reader is shown what the end point of stalking can be. It managed to keep that level of tension with the reader feeling their fear throughout ramping up even higher for the end.
We are given the back stories of each of the 5 main characters and introduced to their stalkers. So theres a few characters to keep track of.

This is high octane extreme stalking of every day people, which is what makes it a thriller. There’s twists and turns thrown in along the way to keep the reader on their toes.

It may be a trigger for some, if you’ve not had personal experience it gives the reader great incite to how much it can impact on a person. The authors notes at the end are worth a read.

This is one of the best stalker books I’ve read, one I’d highly recommend.

This book was everything that I have come to expect from C.L Taylor. Well written with believable characters, Every Move You Make reflects a concern that affects many - stalking. Told from a multi-perspective narrative, each characters’ experience at the hands’ of their stalker is revealed. An excellent read.

I love CL Taylor books and this was no exception. I read it in a day and it had me intrigued and on edge in equal measure. The story is told through the eyes of 4 people who have stalkers and have set up a WhatsApp group to help each other. It appears they are all still being stalked and a death threat has been sent but they are not sure which one of them is the target. All they know is it is meant to happen on a certain day and each of them has something to celebrate then.
As the story unfolds, each one of them could be the target and the stalkers appear to be closing in fast. There only seems one way to stop them….
I loved the different characters - they seemed very real and relatable.

4.5 Stars. This novel has a unique premise about a group of people who are being stalked. They join a Whatsapp group in order to support and watch out for each other. Eventually after a series of life-threatening events they decide to try and take matters into their own hands...
This razor-sharp thriller is very cleverly written, full of tension and suspense. Told in multiple POVs the characters were very well developed and the author manages to portray the creepiness and helplessness that the characters feel as well as maintaining a menacing undercurrent running throughout the book.
The helplessness of the main characters experiencing such a believable scenario made it suspenseful throughout.
This is a tense, chilling and creepy read, told at a breathtaking pace, a real page turner.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley UK for the ARC.

Having loved the author’s previous novel, The Guilty Couple, I was extremely excited for this one and it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a twisty whodunit style Agatha Christie, you’ve come to the right place!

I think this my favourite CLTaylor yet. I read it in one day and literally couldn’t put it down. With such a strong start, the story of a self made group of people who were being stalked was utterly compelling. The worry of never really knowing who to trust was real and I found myself doubting characters at times. The ending was satisfying, and the authors note at the end showed her courage in writing about a lived experience.

Every Move You Make is fast paced read with twists and turns and an ending I thought I had predicted.

I was wrong.

You meet Nat, Alex, Bridget , Lucy and Nat that formed a group in hopes of watching out for each other.

All have them stalkers and all of them are desperately afraid for the lives.

One dies.

The perpetrator has made it know their will be more deaths in ten days.

The tension is palpable as you feel their fear and learn their stories.

You will be looking over your own shoulder at times.

C.L. Taylor always does an amazing job with twists and turns, red herrings, characters we love, those we don't and she keeps you turning the pages quickly.

Ever Move you Make is no exception.

Pick up your copy and settle in for a fantastic read that has your heart pounding.

Please take time to read the author's notes, they add a lot to the book and will keep you thinking.

Thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books UK, Avon for a nail biting read.

Well if you’re looking for a really great mystery thriller and one that’s going to keep you on your toes then look no further as this is precisely how I would describe the book. What I loved about it the most is that it kept me guessing right until the end and even though I thought I knew the outcome when I realised I most certainly didn’t for me a person who reads a lot of mystery thrillers it was so damn refreshing and I loved that about this book.
It’s an intricate plot with some fabulous characters that be came more and more intriguing as the story progressed. At the heart of the story is the horrible subject of stalking and the author has done a wonderful job of dealing with this in a very empathetic manner which can’t have been easy given what she went through herself so I really do admire her for that.
From start to finish I loved the book, the characters and the plot and I can 100% recommend it as a superb read and one not to be missed in my opinion.
Thank you so much CL Taylor it was a hell of a great read.
My thanks also to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for giving me the opportunity to read the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

‘There’s no point hiding. You know I’ll find you.’

C L Taylor never disappoints me with her work and I am so grateful that I have been able to read another of her books before it is released into the world.

Nerve wracking through out! Very addictive and terrifying.

The twists were very good! And that ending?!!!

A must read for any thriller and vigilante reader.

‘Someone’s watching her. She can feel it as powerfully as if they’d reached out and stroked the back of her head.’

Thank you Cally for writing this story and for what you wrote in the author’s note section. You are amazing!

I thought this was a well-plotted page turner about a number of women plagued by stalkers and their steps to protect themselves. The author does the 'tension then release ' bit very well, The terror of being followed at every turn by a psycho is conveyed very convincingly. It would make a great TV mini series. The fact that the author was a victim of a tech savvy jealous ex makes it all the more poignant. ( Thanks to NetGalley for a preview )

This is one of those books that will stay with you for a very long time. Cally Taylor is the master of suspense, subterfuge, and with the uncanny ability to totally creep you out!

5 people come together to form a WhatsApp group – what do they have in common? Nothing except for the fact that all were being stalked. When one of the group is killed, and they group receive a death threat for a second member, time is ticking to prevent another of their group dying.

This is a book that will make the hair stand up on the back of your arms, and play with your head. A brilliant read.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review. I was instantly hooked by this book and was on tenterhooks the whole way through. A really gripping read that I found totally fascinating. It really made me think about what it must be like to be stalked and the devastating impact it has on a person’s life. A truly eye opening story that unfortunately is a reality for so many people. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
