Neither snow nor hunky cops nor angry cats will keep intrepid P.I. Tuesday Welsh from the (sometimes tardy) commission of her appointed rounds, chiefly trying to figure out why the body she discovered shows up alive and kicking elsewhere. “Cookin’ Up Murder” offers a delightful demonstration of how small towns can cook up big problems, with an ever-resourceful (despite herself) heroine as your guide.

First off this book is feels fairly short for a full length novel, the pacing moves fast. I liked that the investigation went somewhere the whole time not just in circles. I did guess the switch early on, it’s a pretty classic feature in twin stories. Having driven in snow, I was surprised that the characters were all able to move around so easily considering how much it was snowing and the amounts they were getting in the story. #CookinUpMurder #NetGalley

This is the first book in a new series. I found it to be super entertaining, one minute you'll be laughing at the main characters antics, and the next minute you'll be eagerly turning the page to see what happens next.
A thoroughly enjoyable read.

A grizzly way to die! And the whole twin thing makes it so much more difficult. Who would want a baker to die? The twists and turns add to the story. The gal that finds him must figure it out? Well she does have the qualifications. But is she up for the challenge? I liked the story.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read and loved the humor of Tuesday, the main character. It was a great cozy winter feel, coming from Minnesota, I could relate to the weather issues. It had good plot twists but I struggled with the end motive of the character. It would have been nice to dig a bit deeper in that. Otherwise, it's a quick fun read with good twists.

Doris and Rose are two women who are overly caring by allowing greed and selfishness to twist their emotions. One had her eyes on, till death, do us part greedily, and the other must travel to Paris by any means. Harley and Tuesday's heads clash in this murder investigation, with the clues leading them on a twisted trail with many players and none playing fair. It was intriguing, captivating, and very entertaining.
